Strength in Numbers

Julie We just put new upholstery on the seat of the chairs. I was planning to do it myself, but I didn’t have enough upper body strength to push the staples into the wood. They just bounced right back out! Luckily DH didn’t mind doing it. Great job on your heavy leg and core workout, cleaning, errands, upper body weights, hike, and stretching! It’s nice that you were able to ’attend’ the baby shower from home. Great job on your heavy leg and core workout!

Cheryl Our chairs are wood with fabric covered seats, so they are pretty easy to recover. The hardest part was taking off the old fabric because there were so many staples and they were hard to remove. Great job on your Barre, yoga, an pilates fusion! It sounds like you got a double workout with the leaf clean up. Our first tree just started dropping leaves, so it’s about to go crazy here. I don’t look forward to it at all. Great job on D10 and congrats on finishing the dreaded push up month! You must be so happy!

Julie Great job on your heavy upper body, yoga, and bike ride. I bet it was so pretty with all of the cherry blossoms. NOOOOO, it’s too early for snow!! YUCK! I’m glad it didn’t last long and didn’t stick though.

Yesterday was XTrain Chest, Back, and shoulders Burn sets. Then I had a wish discovery. This morning was XTrain Cardio leg blast and abs from Cardio and Weights. Have a great day!

Julie Great job on your heavy upper body weight workout, yoga and your bike ride in DC. I love cherry blossoms they are so pretty. It is still too early for snow at least it didn't stick around.

Pam I am very happy that all of the pushups are now done. Our tree is about 1/2 way done dropping its leaves. They are falling really fast now. Good work on XTrain chest, Back and Shoulders burn sets and the abs from Cardio and Weights.

This morning I met up with a friend who I hadn't seen in years for a walk. It was great catching up with her and we are hoping to do this on a monthly basis.

Pam Great job on XT CBS BS and CLB plus C&W abs! That's nice DH was able to help you with the chairs. Yep, yuck is exactly how I felt about seeing the flurries too.

Cheryl That sounds like a great thing to set up a monthly walk to keep in touch with your friend. Yes, the cherry blossoms were so pretty and almost made me want to move to DC.

This morning I got up and just had no motivation or energy to work out so I decided to go back to sleep and I think that helped. The drive into work was so cold at 27 degrees. So maybe the chill in the air was what made me not want to work out.

Julie I don’t think I would have been motivated to get up if it was only 27 degrees either. I always have a hard time getting out of Bed when it starts getting cold.

This morning I did the step part of All Step and Burn set bis and tris. Now I have to get some house cleaning done so am trying to work up my motivation. Have a great day!

This morning I did a heavy lower body and core workout! We are finally going to break 50 degrees today and may get as high as 60. We are supposed to be in the 70s Friday and Saturday and I am looking forward to getting some things done outside before Fall really kicks in.

This morning was Rockout Knockout and the abs from 4DS kickbox. We had our first freeze last night but luckily it is warming up quickly and will be in the 60’s today. I am not ready for cold weather!! Have a great day!

So this morning I tried to do PRS 2 but I just couldn't finish it. It is so so smoky here and it is starting to affect my throat and probably my breathing so I am not sure if that was the reason I was having a hard time with it. I did get the housework done and I did go outside to clean up leaves. We are suppose to be getting a lot of rain tomorrow which I hope it true because it has been months since we have had rain and we desperately need it. I hope it gets rid of all the smoke too, we can't see anything it is so thick.

Cheryl Wow, it sounds like the smoke is just awful there. I hope that you get the rain and it clears things up. It must have been hard working to clean up the leaves in that smoke! I’m sure it must be affecting your breathing!

This morning I did Tracy Stahle’s High Intensity step mix.er step workouts are fun and a little different style from Cathe’s. I was thinking about going for a bike ride because it’s supposed to be in the high 60’s today, but it is taking it’s time to get there, the high temperature is not until 4 pm so decided to stay inside this morning while it is cold. This morning was LIHI legs with abs mixed in. Then I went to a pop up art festival and walked around for a bit because it was a beautiful day. Then I went to check out some hiking trails in a park that is close by. It was nice, but there are only 2 trails and they are really short. Have a great day!

Pam Great job on RK and 4DS Kickbox abs! I am not ready for cold weather either but then again, not sure I am ever really ready. Great job on TS HIS and LIHI Legs with abs mixed in! That sounds like a great premix to help give the legs a little break occasionally.

Cheryl I am so sorry it is so smoky there and affective you now. I hope you got the rain you needed and it helped with the smoke.

Friday I did a heavy upper body weight workout and a hike in Chile and then did some cleaning. Saturday was a heavy lower body weight and core workout and then I was lazy and just hung outside. We had beautiful weather in the upper 70s so I wanted to take full advantage of it. Sunday was my lazy day. This morning I did a heavy lower body weight and core workout. We are still in the 70s but are supposed to go back to the 40s/50s tomorrow.

So Friday morning I had to get my mom to an early morning dentist appointment so I didn't have time to workout. It finally started to rain and it did clear up the smoke. We could finally see the trees and mountains again. Saturday I did disc 12 Legs and the last of meso 1. Sunday I went dragon boating and it was a nice morning and the water was calm. This morning I did yoga as this is my off week from STS.

This morning I did a heavy upper body weight workout with some yoga and a bike ride in DC! Yesterday afternoon we took Cam to the vet because he has been having seizures. Weird seizures where he looks like he is chewing gum and then starts foaming at the mouth. He has been on an anti-seizure med for a few weeks but last weekend he had 3 episodes in less than 16 hours. The vet decided to change up his dosage which we are waiting on the pills to come in and then he has another episode again last night. The vet did say that these seizures are scary to see and probably scary for Cam but they are not the life threatening and it is something that he will probably have occasionally throughout the rest of his life. This is what it looks like but maybe a little more head shaking and foaming with Cam.

Julie Great job on your upper body weight workout, yoga and your bike ride in DC. That would be scary to see but that is great that it is not life threatening. It is always good to know what it is and then it makes it a bit easier to deal with.

So DH had an early morning doctor's appointment so I didn't have a chance to get a workout in. After his appointment we went to Costco and then got groceries. By the time we got back and got everything put away I did not want to do much of anything. The rain is now making up for lost time and it is pouring here but that is OK with me since it had been months since we have had any rain.

Cheryl Sometimes Costco runs can feel like a workout. Glad you are getting much needed rain. I don't mind the rain unless it is cold too. Chilly rain makes me want to go to bed.

This morning I got up and then was tired and decided I could start work late so I slept in another hour and then did a lower body mobility workout and some backbends and splits work. This weekend is supposed to be in the 60s so another nice one.

Julie Now that my mom can't drive anymore I try to take her out at least once a week. She enjoys it and I don't mind driving to places she needs to go to. Nice that you can start work later so you could sleep longer. Great job on your lower body mobility workout and your backbends and splits. Enjoy your weekend.

This morning I did LITE Cardio Party + 6 Pack Abs 2 + Extended Stretch 2. Then I got all the housework done and then I did some meal prepping. It is a nasty windy and rainy day here today so I was a good day to stay inside.

Hi ladies. Sorry to be MIA, we did a quick trip to the mountains to see the peak fall colors and do some hiking. It was just beautiful there with the colors and the weather. The first day we did 11.5 miles and my feet were so sore that night! We took it easier the next couple of days and just did 6 miles and 5.5 miles. It looks like you have both had a pretty good week. Julie Those seizures look like they would be very scary to see, but I’m glad that they are not life threatening. I’m sure that is some comfort, but still pretty scary. This morning I did Total Body Giant sets and bonus core as I figured the hiking was enough cardio. Now I’m waiting for some people who are coming to meet Layla. It sounds like a great home and I expect they will be taking her. Of course they already have 5 new kittens lined up for me to take :rolleyes:. Have a great day!

Pam 11.5 miles is a long way to hike, I bet your feet were sore after that. I saw your FB pictures and it looked really nice. Good work on TBGS and bonus core. Haha 5 more kittens. I know you enjoy it though.

This morning was ICE Metabolic Total Body. Then I got the laundry done and had a relaxing rest of the day.
