Strength in Numbers

Great job on TBW! I got my glass but have til done anything with it yet. I spent the day running around instead. My aunt and cousin came down for a quick visit so I went to my moms and visited with them for awhile too. Maybe tomorrow.....

This morning I doubled up and did Hard Strikes from yesterday and RWH circuit upper body. It was a good combo and still not too long since they are both shorter workouts, have a great weekend!

Rest day today. O yeaaaaaaaaaaa. LOL!

Pam, Visiting and running around are important. When you do your glass work, I would love to see it. You do such remarkable work. Great job on Hard Strikes and RWH circuit upper body.

Saturday morning I did Pedal Power Extreme and then ran errands and did chores. Sunday was a Get Glutes strength workout and then being lazy. It was in the 40s over the weekend and most of the snow has melted. I can’t believe it is Monday again already.

Janie Great job on your rest day, I hope you enjoyed it. I did do a small amount of glass work, but nothing photo worthy yet. I need to practice with my circle cutter but am getting the hang of it after 4 circles. The first one still needs a fair amount of grinding to smooth the edges and my grinder was acting up. Then I couldn't find the instructions for programming my kiln so I finally gave up and went outside to wash the cars because it was 72 degrees.

Julie Great job on PPE and GG. I'm glad to hear you had a nice weekend. It was unbelieveable here. In the 60's Saturday and 70's on Sunday. I was going to go for a bike ride but all of our bikes had completely flat tires o_O

I took Sunday as another rest day so I had two last week! This morning I started Cathe's February rotation, but I guess my eyes were fuzzy when I looked at the calendar last night because I did Body Max and it was supposed to be Body Max 2. Oh well, close enough. I need to do the upper body after work though because I didn't have time for 90 minutes before work. I can't believe it's Monday already either. At least it's a short week for me. I am taking Friday off because my MIL, 2 SILs, 2 nieces are all coming Thursday night to get ready for a party/shower that we are throwing for our nephew and his fiance on Saturday night. Saturday is the Krispy Kreme challenge and we are all registered, but I just saw that it is supposed to be 21 degrees Saturday morning so I'm not sure I will make it....Have a great day!

Last night I did RWH Plyo 1 + Abs 2. I had to take extra pauses but I made it through. I love the high reaching pop squat turns. I was actually bummed when we stopped at 10. Maybe I am crazy. The bike maneuver in the abs workout was not happening. It feels so awkward. I kind of just did my own thing.

Pam Good for you for resting again on Sunday! You had fantastic weather. We are supposed to get down in the single digits Thursday I think so I guess the nice weather can’t last another 37 days to the first day of Spring. Great job on Body Max. Definitely close enough to BM2. You are so good to do the upper body work when you get home.

Julie Great job on Plyo 1+Abs 2. That is a tough little combo. I think there is something seriously wrong with you though if you love those high reaching pop squat turns! o_O If you tell me you also love the snow angel jacks I will no longer know what to think about you! ;) That bike maneuver does feel really awkward. I think I am doing it right, but there is no telling what it actually looks like. And those swimmers I really hate. Those really make me feel awkward. Our fantastic weather has come to an end too. It's supposed to be like 20 degrees Friday and Saturday mornings and we had a thunderstorm yesterday. Today it is drizzly cold rain. Yuck.

Last night I did the BM2 upper body work and it was really hard. My arms are talking to me about it today. I'm not sure why it was so hard because the weight wasn't that heavy, but I was struggling. This morning was supposed to be just 2 segments from ab hits. I thought that was strange and not worth getting out of bed for, so I did X - something (36 or 37 I think?) + 2 segments from ab hits. I did the Cardio Blast and Hi/Lo segments from X10. Have a great day!

Today was a cardio, so went walking at Westport with Joe and a dear friend Jina. Had pizza and walked off the calories. Well, some of the calories.

Last night was Legs & Glutes. I like that workout except 2 things. 1) the 96 inner thigh lifts per leg at the end (CRAZY!) and 2) Cathe’s hair is not in a ponytail. She has to be hot with her hair down like that. It kind of drives me crazy. Anyway, I am over it now and my inner thighs are so far surviving.

Pam Great job on doing the upper body from BM2! That’s frustrating when a workout is harder than you think it will be. I know strength ebbs and flows but I would rather it keep spiking upward. Great job on doing 2 X10s plus 2 ab hits. Hmmm … now you are going to think I am crazy. I like the snow angel jacks for about the first 10 reps. I wish Cathe broke it up into 10 reps, a small break, and 10 more reps. 20 at one time is a little much. But what doesn’t kill me makes me stronger.

Janie Great job on your walking with Joey and your friend! Mmmm … Pizza sounds so good. DH and I have a standing pizza night every Friday. It’s sad but sometimes that is the highlight of my week.

Julie Great job on L&G. You are cracking me up with your comment about Cathe's hair. Too funny! I'm glad your inner thighs are surviving all of of the crazy lifts. OK, I guess you are ok on that one. I completely agree that the snow angel jacks which be much easier to take in chunks of 10. By about number 16 I'm saying alright already!

This morning was cardio kicks, such a fun workout. This is the first time I have ever put a rotation on my calendar without even looking at the rotation first but I am enjoying it so far. The surprise factor is kind've fun too. Have a great day!

Julie, Great job on Lega & Glutes. Yes, I know what you mean. LOL! I hear you about saving one day for pizza. Hey, you deserve it and doing a great job on your workouts. You need a little lee way every now and then. Sometimes just having one day of not so clean eating makes a person stay on track.

Last night I did FlexTrain (no abs, sorry Pam but doing abs more than once a week just ain't gonna happen;)). This is the second time I have done this workout. The first time I did it, I wasn’t too fond of it but I really liked it last night. It kind of reminded me of RWH UBC but lighter on the cardio with no high impact. My shoulders were screaming at me after the first section.

Pam Great job on Cardio Kicks! That is a great workout. You are so brave not looking at the rotation first. I do not like surprises when it comes to my workouts. I need to feel prepared mentally for them.

Janie Great job on TBS and walking with Rolly! Whew made it back home just in time to stay dry. I am finally getting to a place where I am not feeling guilty about eating something unclean. I am not perfect with it yet but getting better.

Julie Great job on FT, even if you did skip the abs. I really can't remember that workout at all. I think I only did it a couple of times when I first got it and it hasn't appeared in a rotation since then. I'm fine with the surprise factor on the workouts as long as I know the night before. Even if I look at them ahead of time I usually forget and have to look again anyway (and then sometimes I still get it wrong!) I was starting to think that I hadn't picked the current February rotation though because it is all old workouts, so I did go look and saw that the rotation is called Sweatin to the oldies.

This morning was Maximum Intensity Cardio. Talk about one I haven't done in ages. All of that good old fashioned high impact. I was a high impact junkie and I was wondering how while I was doing the workout this morning. Not that I didn't enjoy, but I can't see doing nothing but that anymore! Have a great day, it's virtual Friday for me :D

Rolly and I walked fast on the beach for 45. min. Had my first jamming session last night. It Was A Blast! Can't wait for the next one in March.

Saturday I did Ride Extreme, ran errands, and did chores. Sunday was Get Glutes strength, some laundry, and being lazy. Now it is back to Monday and work. Every weekend I tell myself I need to schedule a Monday off so I can have a nice long weekend to relax. Have yet to do it.

Pam Great job on MIC! That is a tough one. I haven’t done it in ages but remember thinking I wish Cathe would have started with the step first. By the time I get to that part, my legs are so tired I am afraid of tripping over the step

Janie Great job on your beach walk! So glad you had a great jam session. It is exciting to get excited about things we love doing. Great job on resting. You will get that clay down. You are so creative and crafty.

Friday was Step Works and Saturday was MIS. I am having fun with these oldies. It was quite the whirlwind weekend with everyone coming in and getting ready for the party. The party was a huge success though and everyone had a great time. We had a bit of excitement on Friday though. My niece was driving from school at Wilmington and her car caught on fire! It was completely destroyed. Luckily she called her mom when it first started smoking and she told her to get out of the car and as far away from it as she could. She was about 40 miles away when it happened and a nice woman stopped and waited with her until her mom could get there. All of her school books, computer and clothes were destroyed but luckily she was fine. Very crazy. Yesterday was my rest day and we went to see American Sniper yesterday afternoon. Wow, what a great movie. The theater was completely silent when it was over, it was kind've eerie. Today we are supposed to get snow/ice. Yuck! I'm hoping our weatherman is wrong. Oops - almost forgot to post today's workout. It was Leaner legs, another goodie. Have a great Monday.

Last night I did AOLIH + Core 1. I don’t feel like I slept well last night. I am pretty tired. Hopefully I won’t need to use my brain too much at work today.

Julie Great job on AOLIH + Core 1! Sorry to hear you didn't sleep well. I slept ok, but I woke up a lot hearing ice hitting the windows. i didn't want to get out of bed this morning. We did get the ice, so it is a work at home day today. It is only supposed to be abvoe freezing for a very short amount of time today too, so I'm not sure how much of it will melt. Did my own circuit training. Moving, packing, shopping...all day long. Where does the time go, just posted it seemed like, but missed a couple of days. Dang!

Last night I did Lower Body Blast! Forgot how tough that one is. The elevated lunges go on forever. They start out easy and then before you get halfway through you are crying. Another night of not so good sleep. Ozzie has decided that he needs to start whining for breakfast about an hour before my alarm goes off.

Pam Great job on KPC! You go with those pikes and the extras! Those are tough but you rocked them. I noticed last night that my sides were sore and again could not figure out why and then remembered the core work from Monday. I still can’t do core work more than once a week it seems but I guess at least 1 day a week is doing something. Yuck for the ice but that’s great you got to work from home.

Janie Great job on your moving, packing, shopping circuit! Sounds like fun.
