Strength in Numbers

Saturday morning I did Pedal Power Extreme. Then ran errands and did a few chores. Sunday morning I did STS Total Body and then was lazy the rest of the day. DH was so sad because the Packers lost to the Seahawks yesterday. I am so happy because there is only one more football game this year!

Pam Great job on subbing in Rhythmic Step when you didn’t want to spin! Great job on RWH BSB! That’s too funny about your DH. Sounds like you both were able to enjoy your niece’s birthday party after he got the TV working. Homemade pizza sounds delicious. Great job on RWH LIH1 plus X10LI plus LIC abs

Janie Great job on Basic Step with the ab add on and Basic step upper and Lower body tubing! Great job on resting too. DH is a Packers fan so he was pretty bummed but enjoyed how close the game was.

Last night I did RWH Plyo Hiit 2 + X10 Step. I have only done X10 Step once when it was first released and couldn’t remember what it was like other than I didn’t really care for the speed of the weight work at the end. Yep still don’t care for the speed of the weight work at the end. Last night’s workout was really tough and I had to take several breaks at the end of the X10 Step portion.

Julie Great job on Pedal Power Extreme and STS Total Body. What is the Extreme pre-mix for pedal power? Sounds scary to me, the cycling workouts always wear me out! Sorry that your DHs team lost. My DHs team is the Steelers, so he had his sad day several weeks agao when they lost in the first round of the playoffs! It doesn't keep him from watching though.
Great job on RWH Plyo Hiit 2 and X10 step. I think those RWH + X10 addons are killers. Hmmm... I am not remembering the X10 step weight work at all. I guess I have that combo to look forward to next week though. I still haven't done Plyo Hiit 2 so am looking forward to seeing what it's like (I think?? ;)) I got the shorts that Amanda is wearing in it for Christmas, so I should wear them when I do it :D

This morning was RWH Hiit circuit lower body. I know I did it once before but I totally didn't remember it. It is a great one though. I think I will try the extreme pre-mix the next time I do it. Have a great day!

Yesterday was Basic Step plus Lower body hand weight add on and today is a rest day.

Pam, Yeah, the game was spectacular, hopfully the Hawks will win again at the SB for this year. WOW! That would be two times in a row. We'll see, the Patriots are really good. Should be another awesome game. I'm glad your honey could at least watch the last of the game, it was only then when it got rreeaallllly exciting! LOL! Great job on Sat. RWH Back, Shoulders and Biceps. And congrats on the DOM's. And for your rest day which is very important. Great job as well for doing RWH LI Hiit plus the LIX10 and the addition of LIC abs.

Last night was RWH Circuit Lower Body Scrambled. She repeated the touchdown plié jacks twice which I think was a mistake. I was really having a hard time last night but I think part of it was I wasn’t prepared for it. I like knowing the order of the exercises so I can mentally prepare and with the scrambled premix I didn’t know them. I have it written down now so I should have no excuses next time.

Pam Great job on RWH CLB! Pedal Power Extreme premix repeats 2-3 songs a few times. So the workout is almost 80 minutes. It was fun but I was feeling my legs later that day. Those shorts are cute. I have the Imax 3 top and capris that I wear when I do that workout. It’s crazy but I do sometimes try to match the colors in my clothes to the workout. I need help!

Janie Great job on BS + Lower Body add on! And for resting. Definitely need those rest days in there. I’m not much of a football fan (that is really an overstatement) so I don’t really have a team I want to win the SB. DH says I want the Patriots to win since the Seahawks beat his team. Guess I need to keep the peace at home and play along.

The Patriots are really good, but I don't like them and I'm not sure why :rolleyes: Hearing that they cheated with the balls in the last game doesn't help though. We were gooing to have a Superbowl party, but got invited to two before we got a chance to invite anyone, so I guess we will just be deciding where we are going to go instead. One is a neighbor so we will probably go there so we can walk. :D

Julie Great job on RWH circuit lower body scrambled. I hate those touchdown plie jacks. ESPECIALLY the ones at the very end of round 5 of tabatacise! Sorry to hear you had a tough time, that just happens sometimes. Oh boy, 80 minutes of spinning would kick my butt! I hear ya on the outfits - I have certain outfits that I feel like I have better workouts in, how crazy is that? o_O

This morning was RWH HCUB. I did the premix that mixes in the ab work again. It was all the same abs as in the lower body premix, I was kind've hoping it would be different. I was thinking that Julie probably likes this rotation because it doesn't have any ab work in it! :D What's up with that? Happy Wednesday!

Pam, I didn't know they cheated. Hmmmmm. Have fun watching the SB should be a wild game, hopefully no cheating. Great job on RWH HCUB, premix that mixes in the ab work.

Julie, Great job on RWH Circuit Lower Body Scrambled. For a better next time. I'm sure you did just fine. Enjoy with me the most likely, remarkable football game. I didn't like football for years and years and years. Just the last two years have I been enjoying it. Only though, if the Sea Hawks play. LOL!

Janie Great job on BS and UB. I couldn't resist referring to it as BS ;) You mean you haven't heard about deflate-gate? It seems like it's all they have been talking about around here. Apparently the Patriots have been playing with under inflated balls. They are supposed to be easier to throw and catch. Seattle is saying it won't impact the Superbowl because they will still beat them :D

This morning was supposed to be PRS1 but I didn't feel like doing that one so I did Body Max step and circuits. Those PRS discs just haven't grabbed me like some of Cathe's other step workouts. Last night I had a massage and I am sore from it today! I went thinking that I really didn't have any especially sore or tight spots but man, she found them all. Last night I did RWH LIH2 plus X10 Fat Burning Circuit. I think that is my favorite X10 segment. RWH LIH2 doesn’t seems as intense as LIH1.

Pam Great job on RWHCUB! Haha! I actually hadn’t noticed the missing ab work but probably because I didn’t miss it! Not crazy on the outfits at all. I have an outfit that I designate for heavy lifting because I think it makes me better. Superstitious I guess. Great job on BM step & circuits! Oh a massage sounds wonderful. I keep telling myself every holiday and birthday I should give myself one and never do. Then I say next time.

Janie Great job on BS + UB add on! I’m with Pam, like calling it BS even though I know it definitely does not mean what BS usually stands for. That’s great that you enjoy football especially if Joey enjoys it too so you can both watch something together.

Last night I did RWH LIHI Legs Scramble 2! This one seemed a little harder than the original. So happy it is Friday.

Julie Great jon on RWH LI2 and X10 fat burning. I still haven't done RWH LI2, but it's good to know it isn't as intense as 1. That' funny that you didn't notice the missing ab work in the rotation. I have also noticed that the premixes in RWH don't have stretching. I wasn't adding it at first but have been trying to make a point to do it since I need it so badly. You definitely should treat yourself with a massage! It feels so good!

Janie Great job doing your stretching. You are so good about that, I should be following your example!! Yes, the massage was nice and I was surprised to be as sore as I was the next day. I was thinking I need another one to help me recover :rolleyes: It still remains to be seen what is going to happen with deflate gate. My DH thinks they are making a big deal out of nothing, but idk. Of course nobody knew anything about it..... o_O

Total Body Stretching today.

This is my week rotation of lower intensity workouts. If anyone wants to join me in the virtual gym you are so welcome. This will give you a little break form the intense workouts you've been doing. Will start tomorrow, Monday.

Mon. I'm doing one of the older step ups (many to choose from) or even choose The Wedding Video or Basic Step Your choice.
Tues. High Step Circuit It's a total body workout
Weds. Low Impact Step plus The abdominal add on from the Basic Step DVD and one segment from Total Body Stretching DVD
Thurs. Low Impact; Total Body Sculpting
Fri. Basic Step and Total Body Stretching
Sat. Body Fusion, it's on Basic Step DVD. If there isn't enough of an ab work then do one of the ab add on.
Sun. Off

Saturday I did Ride Extreme followed by errands and chores. Sunday was a Get Glutes inspired total body heavy weights session followed by being lazy the rest of the day! It was a rainy/snowy mix all day yesterday and the temperature dipped overnight so the roads were a little slippery on the overpasses and bridges this morning.

Pam Great job on Imax 3 and Bootcamp abs on Friday! Imax 3 is a toughie.

Janie Great job on working your upper and lower body with the add ons. Your rotation looks really good. I just put together a rotation that I am doing but may keep this in mind for when I need an active recovery week. I always struggle with what to do those weeks but this looks really good.

Not sure I would call High Step Circuit low intensity though :D I love the jewelry you are making, especially the black combined with the colors. How does this microwave kiln work anyway? You put the glass in the kiln and put the kiln in the microwave?

Julie Great job on Ride extreme and your heavy glute session! I hope you aren't getting the crazy weather that they are getting in the northeast today. I was bummed by our rain, but better that than snow any day. Be careful driving in that.

I took Saturday as a rest day because we had friends over Friday night and were up late and had too much wine :rolleyes:. Plus DH was leaving for Florida in the afternoon so I wanted to just spend a lazy morning with him before he had to go. Sunday was STS total body. It has been a long time since I have done that one and my legs were (are!) really feeling it this morning. This morning was RWH Plyo hitt 2 + X10 step. Wow, those two really go well together. I still thought plyo 2 was pretty intense Julie! I think I have done all of the RWH workouts now. Another great series! Happy Monday, how did it get here so fast?!

Did Step Jam today. I forgot how fun these oldies are.

Pam, High Step Circuit sounds really hard, but it is a beginners/intermediate DVD. It's not easy, but it's not advanced like the name implies. LOL! Love this workout! I do put the glass in the little kiln and put in the microwave for 8-9 min. And viola, something different every single time. No way to control it very well, surprises all the time. Having fun with it, and hope I can sell the jewelry I've made from them to the Gallery. Or to the new place that just opened up. Will see her in a few days to show my stuff. I hope she accepts it. It's not beach related though, and that's what she is looking for.

Sounds like you had a really good time Fri. and resting on Sat. was much needed while spending time with hubby. Great job on Sun. for doing STS total body. I love that workout! Congrats on the DOM's. And for doing this mornings RWH Plyo Hitt 2 and X10 Step.

Last night I did 30/30 and added on the core only from Bootcamp. I think the original hiit workouts are harder than the RWH. I made it through last night but it was tough going.

Pam That was a wise decision to take Saturday as a rest day after your fun Friday night and being able spend time with your DH before he left. Great job on STS Total Body and RWH Plyo HiiT 2 + X10 Step! I think Plyo 2 is intense but Low Impact 2 is not that intense to me. It is still good just not as intense as the other HiiTs.

Janie Great job on Step Jam! The oldies are goodies especially when you haven’t done them in a while. Your new craft looks really pretty. Can’t wait to see more. I love looking at your artwork.

Janie Great job on Step Jam! I do love the old step workouts too. I think in some of the new ones she tries to get too fancy and they lose the fun factor. I just love your polymer beads. Wow, they are beautiful! You are so talented. I was thinking HSC was pretty challenging, but maybe I'm thinking of a different HSC?! Your microwave kiln sounds interesting, I'm glad you're having fun with it! Hopefully the woman at the new place will be so smitten with your work that she won't care that it isn't beach themed :)

This morning was RWH LIHI Chest, shoulders and triceps. Then I added on Tabatacise 1+2. Whew. The chest work is really hard for me in that RWH, I'm always so happy when it's finished! Have a great day!
