Gabrielle I am so sorry for your loss of the beautiful Squirt. Thank you for the video. It is never easy and you lost another friend in February. Hugs for you and soft songs for Squirt.
 
Gabrielle, I'm so sorry. I had to put my beloved 14 year old cat Nikki to sleep in August 2006 due to kidney failure. Having to sign that piece of paper to authorize it was just about the worst thing I've ever had to do. I still miss him like crazy! But I take comfort in the fact that he was spoiled rotten and loved to no end and had a safe and happy life and you should try to do the same. Also be glad that he's no longer in pain and now romping around with the other pets who are waiting for their human parents to join them someday. (((HUGS)) Maybe he's keeping my Nikki company? :)
 
I'm so sorry for your loss ... I know the feeling of losing a beloved animal companion - the loss, the heartache ... and to have lost Squirt while still grieving your other loss can feel devastating. Hang in there and big hugs to you.
 
Gabrielle, I am so sorry for both of your losses. I can only imagine what you're going through. My kitty adopted us a few months ago and it took me a little while to warm up to the idea of having a cat in the house but now, I couldn't imagine her not waiting for me in the morning outside of my bedroom door. My cat's tail is wildly possessed but she doesn't chase it. It's just a weapon. I loved watching Squirt play with her tail. How cute! She was so beautiful and what a personality from your description. You provided such a happy and safe home for her and she thanked you with her affection. I know words can not heal but may the energy behind them from everyone on the boards bring you comfort. Many ((((((((( HUGS )))))))) to you!

Gabrielle -- So sorry to hear that things did not turn out well, and I am sending hugs and care as you start to work through your loss. Our kitties are such precious friends, and it sounds like Squirt was in a special class!
