SNM notice not recieved #17786

I'm not getting anywhere with anyone. No one will answer my plea for help. I preordered STS at my time in Wash. State on 1/11/08 at 10:04 pm. Your time would be 1/12/08 in am.

I keep checking for two phone numbers that we have for 18 years and plugged them in the UPS section. It doesn't come up. Only an old order in Dec. of 2008, said it has already been delivered.

I'm so worried, and frustrated not getting anywhere with this. I've left a couple of messages to "contact us". Nothing! I still have my paperwork here in front of me, I did pay for this series with my Visa card.

Frustrated and don't know what else to do!

Not getting an email confirmation or being able to track an order is actually very common and nothing to worry about. There are hundreds of people where this will be true and yet 99% of all these orders will show up just fine. Because our shipping process is so visible online it causes many to worry that have not been able to track their orders, but this is really an unfounded fear.

Unfortunately, while we're shipping it is impossible to look up individual orders as we would have to stop printing UPS shipping labels for all orders to do a lookup and production would be brought to a standstill.

We will finish shipping all UPS presale orders tonight and starting tomorrow we will begin to deploy our resources to customer service calls, but this will take us several days or longer to do as we have quite a backlog.

I tried the phone # thing too and it didn't recongize my #'s either...but low and behold I got my UPS email yesturday...I say just wait it will come...I felt the same way you did and ran around looking for my paperwork...when all i had to do was just give it a bit...that can fustrating, but it will come.

Hi Janie-
I'm in the NW,too, in Portland & preordered early, too. Mine shipped 1/26, and it is scheduled to arrive Feb 2. I bet you will get yours about that same time if you chose the ground shipping.

It's been sitting in Pennsylvania for the last 3 days, but, I know it will be here on time -- it just gets stuck for a few days in one place if I don't pay for upgraded shipping!

I agree with Linda. You're order will probably be there the first of the week since you chose ground shipping. There's a 99% chance your order did ship (even if you haven't gotten confirmation of it). I wouldn't start worrying about it until the middle to end of next week if you haven't received it yet.

Nancy Pollock in support has helped me locate my STS notification. She gave me the tracking number. I couldn't get it any other way. She is such a jewel and really knowledgeable about these things.

My STS will be here Monday, right now it is in NJ, just sitting there, but on schedule.

I can never track anything from Cathe past its arrival in Horsham, PA. After that I don't "see" it again until it gets to Phoenix. I'm in Tucson. So I at least know when it gets there and can expect it to make it down the road to me after stopping at the local distribution center.

I have wondered about this before and someone suggested that it's probably because the shipment just sits on the truck as it crosses the country (or on a train) and doesn't get checked in anywhere else along the way. I have no idea if that's the case, but it makes sense, I guess. But this always is the case when I order from Cathe.

funny, my STS shipment has been to more places in the last 24 hours than I have been in my entire life! not really, but did think it comical that it was scanned 6 times in less than 24 hours in 6 different places!

It's definately worth the wait! I'm throwing myself a preview party tonite! good thing we have an extra DVD player!

And, I appreciate the head's up on the PA route. My package just left there, and I was wondering when it would re-emerge ... sounds like that might just be Monday on my own doorstep. Drive fast! Drive carefully!
