Well, getting back to your original post and back to Sarah Jessica Parker...she actually does "fess up". I read a few years back that she said that 1) the Hollywood ideal is unrealistic for most women, because most women can NOT afford the time or money for a personal yoga instructor for 2 hours a day and 2) many women don't naturally ahve that kind of figure, and she is lucky that she does. So, she basically says that for her it is BOTH hard work and genes. I can definitely see how at other interviews a comment that "she is naturally thin" can be construed to mean that she is claiming she doesn't work hard at staying in good shape, although she has definitely expressed that she does.
