Share the love

The people here are like family. There are several who stick out (in a good way) but I won't name names. Strong, opinionated ;-) women who I adore who make me laugh on a daily basis! And, like family, there are some disagreements but we all come together for the love of fitness and Cathe! I definitely feel like I've made lifetime friends. If someone had told me several years ago that some of my closest friends would be some I met on the internet, I would have thought they were crazy! :eek:

Okay, I'm going to bust out singing, "We are family..." Okay, maybe I won't sing....
 
I want in on the group hug TOO! You guys are ALL awesome and I could not begin to list all the names who have inspired me here! (BTW Angie, thank you. You are sooo, sooo sweet!) I know it makes me sad when I see a thread go sour but all in all, I think most everyone means well and sometimes words just don't come out as they are intended. We all have so much to be thankful for and you all are a part of one of THE most things I am thankful for. I truly wonder how I did without Cathedotcom before it existed in my life??? The roadtrip is one of the most memorable happenings of my life and without a doubt showed me that you all are what I thought you were by your caring posts. Thanks to everyone that has made me smile/laugh/cry/motivated/inspired and basically was just "there" whenever I needed you. HUGS 2 U all!!! Laura - I feel the exact same way! Several people thought I WAS crazy when I decided to go to the Cathe Road Trip and room with complete strangers! But, if I can meet my BF on the internet, anything is possible!!!

Awwww, Missy, what a sweet post! I think we all really needed this! You are too kind. :) I love this place. I don't get to hang out here nearly as much as I'd like to, but there are so many funny, supportive, intelligent, witty people here - I like to come here to "get away from it all". You guys are all the best, and I'm so glad I found this place! :D
 
What a wonderful thread. Thank you, Missy, for starting it. I love this place too. I've loved it for years and it's still helpful and nice to come here.
 
I agree with what everyone said. I love this place. It is the first thing I check in the morning and the last thing I check at the end of the day.

I love the knowledge, support, and friendships as well as the laughs, cries and everything in between.

So sweet of you to say. I always love reading your post too...you are so witty, NOT GAY like my dd ALWAYS says!!!! Gay, gay, gay, gay, that is all I hear. You make me laugh and I think your just wonderful. You seem to see the best in each of us and very open minded. You are not the type that wants to blend in with just certain women, I do believe you enjoy sharing the love with all of us, as you say. Besides, your humor and attitude is very contagious and you rock!

Same here, Laura and Angie. I'm so glad I didn't run out of the restaurant that first time I met the Texas girls. And I'm glad I went to the road trip.:)

Hi All! I don't mean to barge in here but I just thought I would browse around the forums before I signed off for a bit and happened to see this thread (LOVE the title).

It is so special to see the fondness and affection expressed here.

I have always enjoyed coming here and all the friends I've made! You are all very special! :) :) I don't know anyone else that shares my love for fitness as you all do! Thank you! :)

This forum is awesome and is simply a part of my day to day. Where else can we gush about Cathe or share our fitness (and non-fitness for that matter) triumphs and road blocks. I have not had the pleasure of meeting any of you face to face but feel that I have met some wonderful friends here who want nothing more than to share and learn. This forum is an oasis in my day and a wonderful place to bounce ideas and thoughts around. We are blessed and the beauty is that we know that we are blessed.:)

I don't post as often as I read, but this is a good time to say that I get energy and laughs and many good things from reading these forums every day! It is indeed a special group of great people!

I'm not a frequent poster, but I do visit daily and gain lots of good information. The atmosphere is usually so light and friendly, I really enjoy it.
 
Gee, you know, Laurie, Kingston isn't so far away. And there are other Catheites in the area surrounding T.dot. Maybe a Southern/Eastern Ontario Cathe get-together is in order?
 
I know I have yet to get to know some of you all, but I love you guys! Everyone on this site have been wonderful at answering questions!

Oh, I am so glad this thread started. I think we just overlook telling others how much we appreciate them. I do appreciate every person on here and their advice. I can not tell you how much I have learned from you wonderful ladies! Also, you give me so much encouragement to keep working out. When I don't feel like working out, I just come on here for a little bit, and I'll read a post on how someone just did BootCamp twice or something crazy like that, and I say to myself...."she did it twice! I can can get off the couch and do it once!" Anyway, thank you all for your friendship, love and advice!
 
Missy...you and this wonderful thread, along with so many, many wonderful Ladies here, and our love of Cathe is why we all came together here in the first place!! Love to you all!!!:)
