Say it isn't so - Bye Bye MO!!!!

OK BL fans....
Why the heck did they cut Mo??? That was a no brainer. The contestants must know something about what is to come and Ryan wants kelly to trust him. Or, maybe Ryan knows that he has it nailed and just wants to be a good guy and look like a good guy.

Mo did go out as a class act!

Train the trainers - that was kind of funny and Jillian was a little wimpy at times. Watching Bob with his pumped up body art was awesome!!!
Let's hope Cathe didn't see those push up hoppy things. That looked like pure torture and I'm not sure if I am even coordinated enough to do it.

Can't wait until next week!!! Live finale - I'm on west coast time, so you gals better not give it away.

Melissa

I hadn't watched the show yet (I teach a class at that time---so I record it and watch it on Weds)....I am kinda disappointed that you blew the wistle before the episode was seen. Please....for future reference...don't title who is going bye bye. Please!!!!

I missed it! I thought another show was comming on next week! I usually watch it every tuesday night while I am on the TM but last night I was undecorating my tree and talking on the phone.Oh well....back to normal next week.
Lori:)

Mo did go out as an ultimate class act. I was sorry to see him go. I could not understand how Ryan could lose 10 lbs. in one week, when he is getting down as low as he is!!!! I was glad though that Kelly remained because I would like to see her kick those guys butts!!!!!!! Although Gary seems very fair and nice, it is just a girl thing!!

The first thing I said out loud when I saw those push up hoppy things was... "Dear God, I hope Cathe isn't watching!" Cathe already has a whole trunk full of great moves from every angle that leaves no muscle untouched, or under pain. But I am not up for seeing that move in any of her dvd's. I think if I did, I would just stand up and tell her she is on her own. OUCH!!

:p

I didn't watch very many episodes of this show because I originally thought it was going to be mean and/or degrading. However, it hooked me into a watching a couple of times and I have to say that I really liked it!

I absolutely LOVE trainer Bob! He really seems to care so much about these people. Being a trainer myself, I hope to have the same effect on people and really enjoyed watching the way he works.

Also -- I have to say the pushup hoppy things had me very interested. However, when I tried one -- it didn't quite work so maybe I'm doing something wrong (or maybe I'm a wimp :)). I'll have to try again!

I have so much respect for the people on this show. They have made some huge changes and I hope they have inspired others to do the same.

OMG!!!!! I love this thread! and I love that all of you guys are fans to TBL too!!! That being said I tried the push hoppy things as soon as I saw them and they are hard!!! Doable but hard (especially on the wrists). I'm thinking I would need a special mat to do a couple of sets of those like the ones gymnasts use to do floor practice.

I loved Mo but let's face it he was not the biggest loser. The remaining three are the ones that should be there. Some people would argue that Lisa should be there instead of Gary, but I don't agree. Lisa was mean and difficult all along. My favorite is Gary just because he has a great heart, but I think Ryan is a fat burning machine. I wish I knew his secret. Of course it would rock my world if Kelly wins (because she's the only woman remaining) but I doubt that is going to happen. I couldn't watch this show since day 1 but as soon as I started I got hooked because it is very inspiring.

I like Gary too. I really don't care for Ryan though- his personality is bluh!!!

Does anyone know exactly how the winner is picked- is it total % of wt lost? And there's talk of a suprise next week???

Catherine

I'm guessing that the former contestants will be back for the live finale. Perhaps they will cast their vote for the Biggest Loser?

However, if it's based on total % of weight loss, it has to be Ryan as he still has quite a bit to lose. The other two don't have as much to lose as Ryan.

Boo hoo! I will be on travel when the finale airs! I think I'll be having dinner with my parents that night and won't get a chance to see the finale until that Saturday when I return home. Drat! Personally, I hope Gary wins because he's my favorite!

My dh and I had fun watching it last night. I think it is a great show that is very supportive. I do question letting people see double digit weight losses. I wondered how they were doing it until I saw they are working out 3-4 hours a day.

It has kept me motivated to keep going on my own workouts. I'm extremely proud of all the contestants. i think they are pure inspiration.

My favorite was Andrea.

Yeah I was thinking about the 'surprise' too. I wonder if they are planning put someone back into the game that has gone home? All those who have left have gone on to lose more weight. I wonder if the producers dangled that possiblity in front of all the contestants to inspire them to continue their weight loss efforts. It just seemed odd to me that *everyone* who left had continued to lose weight. Perhaps the eliminated person who has done the best on their own gets a prize too? Just a thought...

I have wondered how the are going to "win" as well. Seems like they are on the % of body weight and I think that is very fair. But maybe there will be some kind of challenge?

I do love Kelly - but I have to disagree that Ryan is blah. I have a huge bias regarding him - he is from Washington (I live in the NW) and he looks just like a guy I used to work with who was just about the nicest guy in the world. Every time I look at Ryan it reminds me of the other guy, so my soft spot remains.

I would have thought that Mo would have been cut long ago. He had a lot of weight to lose and it looked like he had the potential to lose more than anyone. That just didn't happen and I think it is because at his weight it is really hard on his body to exercise for as many hours and the other people did. It really is hard on the joints, knees and ankles to do some of that higher impact stuff and you really have to applaud the progress he made.

Anyway - I did learn a lot from the show and I can't wait until next season.
Hoppy Jumpy Thingies 4 Ever!

I loved Mo! That was so sad. And yes, he was a very classy guy when he left. He seemed to be so genuinely good hearted. He and Gary were my favorites! Now since Mo is gone, I hope Gary wins. It has always been a tie between the two for me. I don't trust Ryan at all. Not so sure about Kelli, but I am starting to like her more than I used to.

Linda

Did you see the final four in People Magazine last week? I thought Ryan looked like he had lost ANOTHER 90 pounds in that picture. Although the article didn't give anything away, I'm sure he will win just from looking at that.
