Plyo Hiit 1 and 2

I just got my RWH dvd set last week and am doing the January rotation, but I wanted to try both Plyo Hiit workouts back to back with the Extreme premix. Overall, I liked both workouts, but I agree with another poster that the "off the beat" moves don't work for me. I can't do the one arm burpees with the jump as fast as Cathe and the crew do them. I have some existing neck and shoulder problems and I found that by trying to keep the tempo with Cathe and her crew, my form stunk and I have a bit of soreness in my upper shoulder area. I think the next time I do the workout, I'm going at my own pace, even if I don't get as many reps as they do. I'd rather play it safe and not injure myself trying to keep up with Cathe. I did a 60 day rotation of Insanity and there were some of those moves that I had to modify and slow down on. Both workouts were good, but in my opinion 40/20 Hiit from Cathe's STS Shock Cardio series is the most difficult Cathe Hiit workout ever. In that workout the moves were intense, but they weren't done at a pace so fast that I felt I couldn't keep or was at risk of injury from doing them too fast. I still have the rest of the dvd set to do and I'm hoping for the best!

I did these at my pace, did the same no. of reps as cathe, I just rewound the dvd when I was finished. There were quite a few moves I did this way. I liked the second plyo with the step much more than the first one.

I did Plyo one for the first time followed by RWH- legs this morning. I found Plyo one to be harder than 40/20. I think it might be because it's brand new to me and also with 40/20 I had the onscreen counter to mentally prepare how many seconds rest I had left. I did Plyo 2 followed by RWH- legs a few weeks ago and Plyo One def. felt harder.
