Since I am off weight-bearing activities for 4-6 wks, does anybody know any good pilates or yoga videos? I have Kathy Smith and Ali McGraw yoga(both are boring to me)Has anybody tried Crunch yoga tape?

I've often heard people say that Crunch Joy of Yoga is a great yoga tape. I have been thinking about buying it myself. I recently previewed it at collagevideo.com and it looked really good. Have you ever used collagevideo.com to preview a video? It's really cool.

LAST EDITED ON Feb-21-02 AT 04:24PM (Est)[p]I like the Yoga Zone tapes, "Conditioning and Stress Relief" is good, also Karen Voight's Yoga Sculpt, although that isn't as relaxing, it is a tough workout. Also, this isn't a video, but Shiva Rea has a yoga CD called "Yoga Sanctuary" that is wonderful. It is two yoga workouts, an energetic vinyasa session and a soothing more relaxing stretching session, each about an hour each. You can get it through gaiam.com, It comes with a poster that shows you what the moves look like. I love that CD.

I just started incorporating Pilates into my routine and right now do the Method Precision Toning. I'm normally just too hyper to enjoy yoga, stretching, pilates, but have found once I get myself to relax I really enjoy it. Plus it's a pretty good core workout. I got it for less than $8 at Costco or Sams Club.

Thanks everybody. I also am a hyper person and this is just so hard. I have worked out since high school and I am 42. Thanks for the ideas.
