The 90/90 exercise is highly effective for improving functional range of motion in your hip joints. You’ll progress from a 90/90 hands down position to a 90/90 hands up position. No matter which variation you choose (or choose to do them all), the internal and external hip rotation will improve your overall hip mobility.

WOW! Looks like the mermaid move in one of your core workouts. I love it!
This "live captured" picture does, however this is a actually a hip mobility move that works on external and internal rotation of the hips....ouchie, wink! With time it does get easier.
