Pentagenarians & Beyond: W/B 7/3

Hi everyone--

This morning I did All Out Low Impact Hiit (38:53).

Deb, no, Kim wasn't on the computer. We don't know why it's always Cathe that doesn't stream. No problem with Netflix or Amazon Prime. Just Cathe. I have until the middle of this month to decide whether to stop. I just don't like starting my day with irritation and then changing my plans, equipment, etc. Not worth it for me. Max didn't need the Thundershirt for fireworks because there were so few and he was content just lying at my feet. Funny on the alarm going off. Must be a poltergeist pranking you.

Valerie, we have Corian in the master bathroom and even after 25 years it has just a couple places where it is scuffed. The sinks are porcelain, though, and fit seamlessly with the Corian. I just remember it being very expensive at the time. Good luck on the cotton bra! I hope it solves your problems.

Diane Sue, how was the Independence Day? The reviewer Anthony Lane said it was too bad Will Smith wasn't in it as he was in the first, because he had good chemistry with Jeff Goldblum. He didn't much like the new film. I am looking forward to the new Ghostbusters with an all-female cast. I also read a good review of Tarzan. I don't know though--summer blockbusters don't get me to the theater usually. Too many superheroes and CGI effects.

Hello to all,

I am starting to write down your names, as I have a bad short term memory. It is incredibly hot so I just did the first movement of Christi Taylor Step Heaven, which, because even with two AC's running, it is still hot in here. I am going to tackle Lower Body Blast now, but I am only putting the step at 6 inches because it is so hot. I also did Step Heaven on a 6 inch step. Thank God, I bought that portable AC.

Now, names,

I am actually writing them down in a school notebook.

Maybe I will get it right in a month. My cat Z accidentally scratched me on my left thigh, and I am putting Hydrogen Peroxide and some cream my doctor prescribed for me. With all the sweating I am doing working out, the scratches are starting to hurt.

Today was not a great calorie burn day. I started with the plan to do a premix from Tracey Staehle's High Intensity Step that is 36 minutes. I was using the Bluetooth heart rate monitor and it started going crazy 7 minutes into the workout. It has been working fine all week till now. I did not have time to keep messing with it so switched to the watch and regular transmitter and decided to do 4 Day Split Higher Intensity step workout premix, (I was having problems with Tracey's choreography since I have not done this in a long time and there is no breakdown on the mix) Workout ended up being 46 minutes because I did the segment that combines all of the combos with higher intensity bursts twice. I only burned 263 calories. I took the grandchildren to the park early. I ended up spending most of my time chasing the two year old around because he wanted to catch birds and keep up with his sister and cousin. He would see a bird and just take off not paying a bit of attention to where he was going. He came home dirtier than all of the other little ones in the park. I guess all of the tumbles running and not looking. The other two had more fun climbing trees.

Debbie, I have not tried the ice cream recipes from the website yet. I have made some from other places where you blended fruit up with nut milk or coconut milk and protein powder and flavorings that you would freeze and scoop out. into bowls. I would imagine protein powder could be added to most any type of ice cream recipe. I need to get some of those popcicle freezer containers. I had made a frozen protein bar recipe from Performance Paleo once that was mashed bananas with cocoa, a bit of coconut milk, and protein powder cut into bars and wrapped. They were pretty good. I have a whole planter of morning glories in front and transplanted some to a trellis in the back. I wish I got to enjoy the blooms more since they are out in the mornings only. My hibiscus has large pretty blooms right now. They are a sort of deep pink color. I was a bit worried that I did not trim them back far enough last season.

Valerie, I have a VS Pink cotton bra with heart straps that I got a few years ago. It has no underwire but it has these weird puffy padded spots on the bottom of the cups. It looks odd through clothing. I tried gain laundry soap once when I ran out of the Melaleuca between orders. I was so itchy. Some of the shampoo products do the same thing. Everytime I color my hair my scalp stings and it itches for a couple of days. I tried a color from Sprouts that had no sulphates,, ammonia, and other chemicals and it did not sting. It was on sale for 16.00. I didn't care for how dark the color came out and I remembered using this before and my hair got darker with each use. There is another that I have thought of trying. I have seen those one piece counters with sinks with faded coloring and

Lynda, I felt that Independence Day felt long. I think because it was really nothing new and not a lot of story line, getting to know the characters. It was just a bunch of stopping the aliens stuff. It was not bad, but I would not enjoy it over again. I am not one to repeat watch movies much anyway. My husband does though. He has ones that he loves and watches over and over.

Caitlin, working out when it is too warm is not easy. I like to take a cool shower when I am done and it is really warm. You missed Lynda from your list.

Hi to all,

I have to let the portable AC in the living room all night. Even with two AC's it is too warm in here. I took one look at the beginning of Lower Body Blast. and I took it out. My neighbor Bill gave me a couple of proteins drinks, and I took a short nap. I did High Reps again. I am going to shower soon.

Good evening all!

Completely forgot to post yesterday. Yesterday was SB Total Body Barre and stretch. Was about 53 minutes but I cut the stretching so it was 45 minutes. This morning was Live Summer 2016 kickoff and at lunch we did a total body that alternated compound lower, upper and then barre. Ladies loved it.

Deb...your garden is lovely. Oh an Kylee is so cute. Love the head tilt! We just replaced our fire pit that we have on the stone patio with gas (propane) and we love it. Purchased blue and green glass in place of the stones that come with it. Omg!! Beautiful. The pit we bought was rather low. So I built a little stone base to put it on. Came out really nice. I will post some pictures later when I sign on to my laptop.

Valerie...have several nasty cuts and blisters on my hands from all the digging and stone work. I should use gloves but I don't. I can not do Zumba to save my life! Tried to but it was not happening for me.

Judy...some really great workouts! Very funny about the whirlpool tub!! We saw one too at hpHome Depot and said this is what we are doing in the fall! Lol!

Josie...so glad you had a nice time with your grandchildren. So sorry about your mom falling. Hope she is feeling better.

Diane Sue...I am with Deb...amazed with the length of workouts you and Judy do. I like doing a longer workout and will hit 90 minutes on the weekends but during the week I need to split my workouts due to time. I get in about an hour most days but even if I had the time, I think I would collapse if I consistantly did the amount of time you do!

Lynda...I know exactly what you mean when you are all set to workout then you have issues with the streaming. Totally sets my mood for the morning. So fustrating.

Caitlin...I workout in my basement and it is usually cool in the mornings so I am fortunate. Would never be able to workout in this heat. Would completely drain me. Cat scratches can be really nasty. My brother's cat scratched me on the wrist and boy did it hurt for a few days.

So CEO is great. Really nice and actually says thank you! Amazing!

here are some pictures of the extent of my outside gardening. this was huge for me since I hate it so much!

Hi Everyone,

Today I did Muscle Meltdown Triceps and Body Beast Bulk Arms.

Deb-The Body Beast workouts are pretty good. I think the shoulder and arm workouts are the best. Still not as good as Cathe's though.
Yes, the NBC app I have is for sports. They probably another one for shows and movies but I haven't used it.

Lori-your garden looks great! That is funny about the whirlpool. I'd love to have one. I didn't realize they made them the size of a normal bathtub.
You always do great workouts too. I need be more consistent with the SB workouts. Sometimes I get so caught up in the dvd workouts that I forget about streaming.

Caitlin-It sounds like you are doing some great workouts! One of my cats scratched me a couple of weeks ago and it was very painful. It took a few days to get better. I used alcohol wipes and antibiotic ointment on it.

Diane Sue-I'm sensitive to hair products and soaps too. It seems to have gotten worse since menopause. I think I'll order some of that protein powder from Amazon.

Lynda-I don't blame you for cancelling the streaming if it's not working consistently. It's very frustrating to have a workout planned and not be able to do it. When I first started doing Cathe dvds I was using an old laptop to play them and it was constantly blue screening in the middle of a workout. I was about ready to throw the laptop out the window.

Valerie-great bike ride! I hope to get back outside again soon too. I've followed the TDF for 15 years or so. I don't enjoy it as much as I used to but I still try to keep up with it.

Josie-I'm so sorry about your Mom. I hope she is feeling better soon.

Judy

I got out Rock'em sock em and did the first 30 minutes of the regular disk. I did better than the first time but I am not doing the snow angels or the jacks. this is my first day with a cotton bra and let me say it's NOT supportive if you do more than walk. no WAY was I doing jacks! so I did a modifier and will try the cotton liner with a sports bra next time. still got 30 min and followed the movements better than the first time. I am still itchy... not sure how long it will take to tell if the stretch fabric was even a factor.

Lynda, I'd have no problem putting Corian in a bathroom. I like the seamless look. Kitchen is too much for abrasion. my neighbor is the most meticulous, careful housekeeper ever, and if she has issues, it is NOT for me. I like my granite/ porcelain combo. it's tough!

Lori... bark is the best friend a reluctant gardener could have! we have too much area for bark. we rely on bushes to cover the area.

Good morning,

Yesterday I did Live Fit n' Firm....another great metabolic workout. Still no rain here....although they had predicted thunderstorms and rain for last night....the weather people are pretty bad with predictions.

Valerie, you may be right and it could be your laundry soap, wearing the sports bra over the cotton one sounds like a great idea. There is a Day Lily farm about an hour from here that has all kinds of varieties...row after row of them...you take a wheel barrow along, and when you want one, they just spit the existing plant and give you part of it. We went crazy there for a few seasons, then had to thin them all out and give some away. Also right on the same road is a Hosta farm, with over 40 varieties of Hostas...so many interesting ones. The sink is not actually Corian...some other solid surface product that was popular when we got the kitchen done. I thought it was great not to have any seams between the counter and sink to clean, but it only came in the solid surface to integrate with the countertop.....I now wish I would have gotten the stainless sink..I even checked with a distributor to see how to clean or fix it...basically not happening. As for Kylee, she does that when you ask a question....not really specific to the breed, she has done this since she was a puppy.

Lynda, so the streaming issue even happens with the Low Quality version? Once I switched to that I almost have zero issues, and I don't find that the picture is too bad to view. Good that Max didn't need the Thunder Shirt...I feel so bad for dogs that are terrified of fireworks, I had 2 of them in the past.

Caitlin, you will get the names eventually....most of us have screen names...but sign with our real names. I can see how any sweat would really hurt a scratch or cut you may have. Do you have the one cat?

Diane Sue, maybe you should wear your HRM when in the park with the two-year old! LOL...I bet you would see a great calorie burn. I think our Hibiscus has died...it's gone and would usually have had some buds by now. Not sure what happened to it. I did find some protein powder ice cream recipes to try on Pinterest.

Lori, nice pics! the new fire pit sounds really nice. I hear you on the gardening... I read in the paper this morning that there are some people that correlate gardening as just an extension of doing housework...that would be me and you I guess!

Judy, great arm workouts! I hope to get to a "one body part per day" rotation soon. I can't seem to get away from the Live workouts though. Although only $10 a month, part of me seems like I have to do a lot of them to justify the expense. How are the kitties doing? Our tub came in a whirlpool version, but we opted for the one without it....figured just another thing to have issues with.

Josie, hope your Mom is doing better.

Not sure what is up for today, inside stuff for sure,

Take care,

I am still writing names down. Judy, I am allergic to hair dye, and what I do is buy Gold Bond anti-itch lotion, put it all over my head, and then I use Natural Instincts, and you only have to leave it on for 15 minutes. I left the living room AC on all night, and it is finally in the 70's in here. I guess I will do some hi lo or kickboxing. My doctor told me never to put a barbell on my shoulders, and I basically just do my bi's, tri's and back. He also told me because of my back problem never to do chest or shoulders.

I got too much enthusiasm into my workout yesterday and pulled a muscle on my rib cage. Not serious , it's better already, but every time I moved in bed last night, it work me up. just one side. I think maybe that "washing machine" agitator move, a guess. there is a lot of rapid arm movement in that workout and I might slow it down with the speed adjust on my player. same moves but a little bit slower. it will help me get the patterns down better too, although I did better the second time. I definitely need better support for jumping, even jack modifications. funny, I didn't think of it as a potential issue I guess because I've worn sports bras for so long. didn't think until I was in the midst of it.

I considered it could be my shampoo or my hair color causing the itching. I get my hair done at a salon about every 6 weeks but don't notice any kind of increase decrease associated with the timing. I only use plain old mild shampoo but I do it in the shower so that's still a possibility. I am thinking maybe wash it in the sink a few times or kneeling using the hand held sprayer in the shower. something to keep the suds from running down my back. sure would like to get this settled down.

deb we have more troubles with daylillies because they spread so readily and will take the yard if we let them. hostas are similar. I bought a few years ago and I have hostas everywhere. deer and slugs like hostas whereas nothing likes daylilies. the deer will sometimes work thru and eat all the hosta leaves so only stems are left sticking up. You never know what they will eat, and it changes from year to year. I divide and spread them out. but not during the summer. I don't want a bunch of transplants I need to keep watered.

Lori you would hate our house. we have acres planted in some way. lots of low maintenance stuff, but it still needs mowing, pruning, weeding. our vegie garden is about half an acre, not all planted at once though so we can rotate crops. we learned immediately not to fuss with petunias, but plant rhodies and bigger bushes and trees.

Hi Everyone,

This morning I did Chiseled Lower Body Blast with Icy Core 2 & a segment from KCM Abs & Core. Total time was 71 minutes and calories burned was 311 according to my garmin.

Deb-the kitties are doing pretty well. Shadow is such a picky eater. I've been trying all kinds of different foods to get her to eat more. She seems healthy and has good vet visits, but she just doesn't want to eat much. She's around 8 lbs now, not really underweight but I would like to see her eat a little more. Chino is the opposite. I have to watch him so he doesn't put on too much weight. He is around 14 lbs now and I'd like to keep him there. He could probably lose a couple of pounds, but I definitely don't want him to put on more.
We had a thunderstorm and lots of rain last night. Looks like the weekend might be a little cooler too.

Valerie-I hope you recover quickly from the muscle pull.

Caitlin-That's a good idea to use Gold Bond lotion. I'll have to pick some up.

Josie-I hope your Mom is doing better today

Hi to Lynda, Lori & Diane Sue!

Judy

Lynda sent some of these and I thought they were great so asked her if I could post them here:

Today I got in a better workout even thought I woke with headache and my husbands alarm at 5 am. I did Rapid Fire 4 Sweat, Susan's favorite mix that alternates the boxing and kickboxing segments and ends with the core, 72 minutes , 486 calories. I have no done this one many times because I purchased it around the time of my knee injury. I followed with Kelly Coffey Muscle Up Workout #2, 29 minutes, 136 calories. Total time was 1 hr. 41 min. and cries burned 622. I wore 1.5 # gloves for the kickboxing and 8# for the core.

I will be back. I am trying to use a wireless key board with my older upstairs computer. It is still missing when I hit letters. My old had my laptop on the floor and the keyboard in his lap when I came to check on him when napping yesterday. He was not napping. He was in the process of trying to stick the plug back into the computer. I had to run a fix on it because the start up would not work That is what I get for leaving it on my art table.

Hi everyone--

This morning I did Live Fit and Firm--just like Deb! Great minds think alike. This is the second time I have done this workout and I continue to like it a lot--especially the band work. The streaming was touch and go--especially toward the end--but if you know what exercise Cathe is doing, you can just count the reps yourself until she comes back on.

Thanks Deb, for posting some of my garden pics. My hanging plants this year have really wowed me. They just keep getting bigger. I have Stella D'Oro yellow daylilies and purple paintbrush, pink phlox, nasturtiums (think I will put some of these in our salad), zinnias, hibiscus, and two types of bee balm just now beginning to bloom. Also a bunch of daisies that don't really bloom until late July and August. I sort of planned things to bloom at different times so I would have something early, like peonies and columbine and iris (these are in two other beds of flowers), something midsummer like all the daylilies and nasturtiums, and zinnias, and then bee balm, hibiscus, daisies, phlox. I also have an early bed of tulips, daffodils, and crocus.

Diane Sue, I'm sure chasing a 2 year old must burn a lot of calories. I think all the movies are getting too long. My guess is that the new Jason Bourne film will probably be close to 3 hours with endless chase sequences and editing that makes me dizzy.

Judy, your cats sound like my son's schnauzers--Libby is skinny and doesn't eat much, while Penny is a chowhound. Libby is also smarter and feistier than her sister. My son sends pictures of Libby as a back seat driver, all alert, while Penny is snoozing.

Lori, your garden looks very decorative and beautiful. Mine is more sloppy and hit or miss. Sometimes I don't know if something is a weed or not and discover later I have been nurturing something I don't really want. How nice to have an appreciative CEO!

Ooh, Valerie, that must hurt! Amanda shows a modification for the snow angels and you can always do half-jacks. Why don't you try not wearing a bra for awhile? I often don't wear a bra in the summer if I can get away with it, but then I am not very well-endowed. Hanky Panky also makes little cotton bralettes that are kind of cute/sexy, and I love my Cosabella bra slips.

Hi to Caitlin and Josie!

I am off to see a ballet company tomorrow--Gauthier (the choreographer and ballet master)/ Stuttgart (where they are from).

Have a great weekend everyone!

I did a pretty bad thing today. I am moving in about three weeks, and I met this nice guy who took me out for lunch. It is not fair to either of us. I think something is wrong with me, as I am napping almost every day. I did KickMax with two pound weighted gloves, and I forgot about the blast challenge. Three quarters of a way through the blast, I took the gloves off. Hi to all you wonderful ladies, Deb, Diana, Josie and Val, and everybody else. Anyway, I think I will start taking iron pills. I have a great blood type: Type O Rh negative, which means I am the universal donor for everybody who is Rh negative, and when I try to give blood, I am always rejected because they say my red blood cell count is not high enough.

Good evening ladies!

This morning I subbed in a different SB workout than scheduled, Adv. Lower Body Barre Fire then Upper Lower Compound. Wow I was tired after feeling the burn all over! At lunch we did a JS workout. Ladies enjoyed it.

My stone patio is really nice at night and we are enjoying the fire pit. First year in a long time I actually planted flowers and glad I did. Hated doing it but like the results.

Well I guess I need to do Fit 'n Firm tomorrow!

Deb...we love having the gas fire pit. We love having a fire in the evenings but hate the hassle of burning logs. Was fun for a while but we do not enjoy it any more. We still have the larger stone fire pit in the back we built a few years ago but hardly use it. To many coyotes around for me to relax and enjoy. The day lilly farm sounds wonderful. Hahah with the extension of housework!! Yup I agree!

Judy...I need to pull out the ICE dvd's. I have really neglected them. SB posted a 2 week booty challenge starting July 18th. I will be doing this!

Valerie...it could absolutely be your shampoo. My husband was having a problem a couple years ago with itching on his head, face and torso and would break out with these hives all over. He was tested and he is alergic to something that is very common in shampoos. I can't remember what it was. Once we elliminated it he has been great with no itching or hives. Hope your pulled muscle does not linger. I bet your grounds are beautiful!

Lynda...your hanging plants are beautiful!! And yes large! So sorry you continue to have Live issues. Enjoy the Ballet.

Diane Sue...I agree you must burn lots of calories running around with your grandchildren. I have Rapid Fire 4 and have never tried it. I have way too many workouts. I have KCM muscle up too but have done that one in a while either. Once I started with Live and SB streaming I have completely pretty much discarded all DVD's from my mind. I should convert them all to digital so when I go to my computer to select my workout they will be staring me in the face.

Caitlin...I am Lori! I remember when I first joined the group it was so hard remembering who was who. You'll have us all down in no time. I gave my barbell to my son. I prefer using dumbbells. A barbell put way to much stress on my shoulders and I can see how it would hurt your back. Glad you were able to cool off your room.

Josie...hoping your mom is doing well.

Have a great night all!

It looks like I have some catching up to do. I had to go to the store and clean. I dealt with Amazon because I had been charged twice on my bank account for air purifier filters.

Lori, I love how your planter looks with the rope lights and your fire pit is so pretty. It would be so pleasant to sit outside and enjoy it. I forget some of my dvds since they are almost all in two holders except the newest ones or ones that were in holders as a set like STS and X Train. One of my holders is mostly Cathe :) I just pre-ordered Kelly's live workout.

Judy, that was quite the arm workout yesterday :) I still want to get Chiseled legs. Today was a pretty good calorie burn for a strength workout. Is there cardio blasts in Chiseled legs?

Valerie, having to layer undergarments sounds awfully uncomfortable. I have some workout tops that I feel are too low in the front for when I have grandchildren around and even though they are built with the bra inside I wear a second sports bra. I used to always hunt for the ones with a lot of motion control. Now it is more hunting for ones that I can slip the skinny straps off easily because regular sports bras are hard to get off when I am sweaty and my arthritis is acting up. My fingers get stuck bent trying to get the silly things off. I thought that I have some discomfort in my left side this evening after the Rapid Fire 4 workout. It had lots of punches and I was wearing 1 1/2 # gloves. I was really starting to feel it by the 71 minutes. I hope your discomfort goes away. Snow angels hurt my knees when I land.

Deb, it has been raining off and on all day here. My husband said when he was driving through one of our enclave cities that he had forgotten how their streets flood. Water was half way up the side of his car. My plants will be happy. It has been pretty dry lately.
I bet I did burn some extra calories. I was hungry when I started my workout this morning and I had thought I consumed too many calories yesterday. The 2 your old just runs and a few times I had to chase the 5 and 8 year old down because they were getting out of my sight running down a hill where there is some water that runs under a bridge. It was work keeping track of 3 of them since they did not play much on the playground equipment.

Lynda, your flowers are very pretty. I used to have a lot of daylilies. Before we moved for my husbands work I had had a landscaper come out and replant a lot of my flower beds and build up a nice display around the storm shelter we had. Lots of knockout roses. I kept the climbing roses that just bloomed like crazy up the side of the house. I miss all of the beauty. I don't think I miss large yards that take endless hours of work though. We had one home that had been planted carefully so that every season there was a whole new bunch of color. It was fun the first year seeing what was going to come up. We did not have to add much there. We put Austrian pines along the back fence. I bet the Jason Bourne movie will be long. Can anything be longer than Dances with Wolves. There were some of those movies that were so long and we would go see them and then take my husband's parents. I am not good with sitting very long and I really do not like seeing many movies more than once. I find streaming frustrating a lot of the time. I had some you tube channels that I liked to use but then there is the buffering and it makes me crazy.
I had to do Cathe live with the lower quality .

Caitlin, I usually show that I am a little elevated on the iron levels so I make sure that my vitamins do not have iron in them.

I am still itchy and have worn only cotton for several days. Lori, I am starting to suspect shampoo. see if your DH happens to remember what the ingredient is that caused issues. or what kind of shampoo does he use now? I have used hair color too but it's been 6 weeks and it's itchier than ever right now, and there has never seemed to be a correlation between coloring and itchiness. I showered today but didn't wash my hair and maybe it's a bit better. anyway, I am making an appt with a derm to get an opinion on this. but first need a referral, and then make an appt so this may be weeks yet. it is too uncomfortable for too long and none of the non medical measures are doing anything. it has to be some kind of exposure thing.
Ha.. diane sue...all the jokes about the REAL workout being ... when you try to get your sports bra off??
I've thought about shampoo before because of where the itch is.... but the list of ingredients in basic shampoo is at least 20 things. no way can I try different shampoo if I don't know what to avoid. Hoping it isn't something "everywhere" like spandex! no way I can go without a bra doing any exercise. sorry, I'm a D and it is unpleasant. didn't realize the spandex did such a good job of cushioning things. I don't usually have trouble bouncing with a normal bra, and my sports bras aren't that heavy duty. this cotton one is worthless to hold things in place during exercise. I didn't realize how good job my regular bra did until I tried jumping with the cotton thing.
no workout today, I had enough trouble just doing anything normal, and it kept me up half the night. getting better though so maybe we can ride tomorrow. even breathing made it hurt in one small specific place.
Lynda your baskets a lovely!. are those petunias? do you feed them every watering? something like fish fertilizer or miracle gro?

Caitlin I used to be a regular blood donor. you need a certain percentage of red blood cells or you might be symptomatic after donating a unit of blood. I don't know what the numbers are these days but a lot of women run on the low side and don't qualify as donors. they don't want to take a donation and have you feel sick and faint for a week while you rebuild your levels. especially small women, as they take a standard amount. for a big man it's less noticeable than it is for a small woman.

Good morning,

No workout yesterday.

Caitlin, I get a reaction from hair dye as well....while it is on I want to take anything and scratch...some are less itchy than others. Good that the AC is finally working. No way can you do a hard workout in this heat, nor should you. Maybe you should have some blood work done and see if you need iron, or if it is something else. It is not good to take iron when you don't need it.

Valerie, hope the muscle pull is better. Which workout were you doing that had a "washing machine agitator move"? I guess in one way living in the city is good...no deer to eat our plants. We have plenty of rabbits but since we have no veggies, they don't do any damage. They do entertain the dogs though...:). I can not do any snow angels and have stopped doing full jack...I do the modified one all the time, and insert that when Cathe does any jumping stuff...I feel like I get just as good a workout, and am saving my knees.

Judy, it looks like you are really enjoying the ICE series. I still think it is Cathe's best. I wish those thunderstorms you had would move east. Usually we get Michigan's weather a day later, but it doesn't seem to be happening this summer.

Diane Sue, great workouts! Your grandson is how old? He must be trying to be like Grandma, using that computer. LOL. I have the same problem getting a sports bra off when it is all sweaty...what a struggle it can be.

Lynda, those flowers are beautiful. I picked up 3 hanging baskets at a food store we go to, they were really inexpensive and I did not give them much hope to be much, but they have turned out to be the best we have gotten in years. Go figure. Enjoy Jacob's Pillow today with your MIL.

Lori, yes, planting and weeding is no fun...but the results can be enjoyable. I have ignored my DVD's since signing up for Live too....all your fault...:). I just love the Live workouts, especially the weight ones.

Josie, let us know how things are going...

Agility class this morning, and probably yard work....

Take care,
