Day 4! Day 4!! Day 4!!!
I know a few of us had to get up really early today to fit Yoga X in. How did everyone do?! And what did the new P90X people think of it?
For me, Yoga X is tough. But for the first time, it didn't TOTALLY knock me out (though I still can't do much in it) and I'm kind of eager to get better. I think I'm going to approach this one with the mindset of how awesome I'm going to feel when I can actually DO some of these moves (warrior 3?? that whole sequence?) And then when I can finally do them, make them GOOD.
So - although I am super proud of myself for setting my alarm extra early and doing Yoga X before coming into work early, I have a confession. Last night was a BAD eating night! I ended up going out with a few friends - which led to apps (spinach and artichoke dip with chips) and then dinner OUT later with the hubby - not so good. I don't know why I sabatoge myself, if I'm working out so hard why don't I just EAT BETTER!?!? Ok, I'm working it. And it's not like I eat like I did last night frequently.
FF - I'm glad you are switching to classic. I would definitely recommend that. If you want to lean more then bulk (although the jury's out on some of these theories) you can choose to do the lesser weight/more rep option. And you can also do the doubles if you want. But the classic rotation I think is more challenging and fun.
Sabine - I'm doing a pseudo doubles rotation - on my weight days I also go to the gym at lunch and get in a 45 min cardio - either treadmill or ellipical or something. It's not doing Cardio X, but it's kind of along the same lines.
ALRIGHT! I can't wait to hear what you all thought of the Yoga, or what subs you did!
I did have one issue this morning though - my darn feet kept slipping. Then when I used a mat the mat slipped. Maybe I should glue it down. hahaha
