I hope some others chime in to help you, but here are my opinions:

Pure Strength is a good series, but in my opinion not as good as Slow & Heavy or the Pyramids. Another thing: Cathe says you shouldn't do Slow & Heavy too long because it requires a lot of concentration that's difficult to keep up for very long. It's mainly a plateau-busting tape.

The Rhythmic Step DVD is a good one to have if you like Cathe's more difficult cardio. Rhythmic Step is difficult to learn but if you catch on to Cathe's moves quickly (and a lot of people do) then you'll love it. It also has MIC and the original Imax, which are cardio killers! They will put you into great cardio shape, but for my money, Rhythmic Step is more fun, and so are Imax2 and Cathe's newer cardio titles like Step Blast or even Cardio & Weights.

Power Hour is a lot like Muscle Endurance, a good, total body muscle endurance workout (many reps, lighter weights), but I tend to favor the muscle-building workouts (heavier weights, fewer reps). You might prefer the endurance style.

Other people may give you different advice, but I say wait for Hardcore. There are a lot of new titles in that series that will do a lot of different things. Save your money and see if you still need more titles after you receive Hardcore. If so, then go ahead and get the older titles. But I would wait and see.

Hi all,

Did Kenpo today and Abs which were left over from yesterday. It went really well. I have also noticed that I'm able to do more on the ab workout. It's amazing how much difference just 1 week makes.

Amazon- I might have not eaten enough because I was starving for the rest of the day. I have been eating very clean and wasn't even extra hungry. It must have snuck up on me.

I'll do stretch tomorrow and get ready for next week.

Keep it up,
Sabine

HELLO HELLO team!

I have been out of the computer loop for the past two days - had Friday off. I find that since my job requires 100% staring at the computer, that when I'm out of the office I stay away as much as possible! But missing my check-ins I had to get myself to log on today.

You guys sound as if you've been doing GREAT!!!

I had to skip Friday's workout and instead did Legs & Back yesterday, and I'll do Kenpo today, so I'll be all caught up by tomorrow.

I agree the legs workout is definitely not as challenging, but I kind of enjoy the break!! hahaha! And I do feel like a tough guy when they are sweating it out and I'm like, hey, this ain't so bad!! And it's fun doing those wall sit things, I don't think I've done those since grade school!!

Timber - we're going to have to start a new thread for the next week, this one's getting so LONG! It's so great how many people are participating.

I better be able to do all toe push ups after this!!! :7

Hello!

I have to say, even though the leg work isn't at all as difficult as Cathe's, I felt it the next day. Must be that I'm hitting the muscles in a different way. I will definately be substituting KPC for KenproX. It was fun, but I just love KPC.

I was going to completely take today off, but when I woke up I felt like I'd been hit by a truck. I was just so stiff from the first week of this workout series. I've never done an "official" rotation before and I've never done P90X. I did StretchX and really enjoyed it and also feel much better.

Yes, guess we'd better start a new thread tomorrow.

Margaret
