Hey Xers and X grads!;)

My tris are still hurtin' from BBC arms the other day!:eek: My legs feel okay right now but we'll see as the day progresses what Butt and Legs has done to me!:p

Today I have a lot to do...a run after my shift at work and then come home and do ARX and Chest and Abs (sans cardio) after DS goes down for his nap. I feel sore abs and push up he!! coming on! LOL }(

Thanks to all re: my X results. I am definately going to be doing the X again in the future! Just not sure when....}(

I've decided to put the Lean Rotation on hold for a few weeks until my teaching classes is over for the summer. I just can't fit it all in right now. So, this gives me some time to analyze what I want and how to get there......main goal is: LOSE WEIGHT!! So, that's why I thought the Lean Rotation would be best. Do you think I should add in anything else besides? I walk at lunch, too, so that's good. Also, any advice on these next two weeks before I can get started? I have class on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. I'd love to get running back in, too, oh there are so many options I'm just confused!!! x( I wish I could just workout all day long.......

Wanted to congratulate you on INCREDIBLE results! Thanks for unlocking pics! I took them for my second round which is not going nearly as well (because of eating) as 1st! You inspired me to get my act together... I also will be doing BBC after this second X round. Hope all is well....
Would you mind it if I (or you) posted your pic link over at Xers? We have a lot of first time Xers just starting and I think it would so motivate them after weeks 1 & 2- They already want to stray! LOL

Well .. did not make the lunch run .. opted for some internet shopping .. LOL .. yes purchased BBC (thank you Wendy) .. purchased CC push play .. then ordered some more fitness CD's for class .. a very efficient lunch .. LOL!!

but Core Torture class made up for it .. man .. it was tough!! }( I was sweating bullets and legs felt like jello afterwards .. today my back and abs are a bit sore .. but other than that I am fine!!

Today is heavy weights on the arms .. tonight is cardio class.

Oh .. SIL is hit and miss w/the X workouts .. but she is still doing them w/me .. yes I have not given up the X .. I am still mixing it with my regular workouts (probably only 2 a week though).. don't want to loose my gains!! :) .. and of course SIL looks so good!! her upper body is really shaping up .. I should have taken her b-4 pics .. b/c her upper body really had no muscle .. and now she is looking pumped a bit!

I still hope to get my pics this weekend and post them! I am so lily white almost hate to take a picture .. LOL .. may have to throw on some self tanner (which will only bring me to a regular color .. LOL)

OK .. will be back later for personals .. thought I would pop in early today .. LOL!

Hi Ladies,

I'm still not feeling that great. I did go to the Dr. and get some medication that should help though. I did the Gauntlet yesterday, it is one of my many favorites. I will probably do lowmax later today. You know, I really like being able to do my workout around 10, after I've had my coffee and looked at the news. Too bad my work schedule isn't accomodating.

Wendy-Wow, you have me really looking forward to doing BBC. The non weighted workouts have me a little scared.

Marcia-It sounds like you have a lot going on right now. I struggle with weight issues as well. I have Burn the Fat, I've gone to weight watchers (currently following ww again. I've made lifetime 2 times before), followed a vegetarian diet. It is information overload and is confusing. I've tried mixing and matching programs and that didn't work at all. My suggestion is to pick one program/method and follow that program only. You're not alone, I'm struggling right along with you.

Laura-I wish I had your energy, you amaze me. Even with missing your run you were very productive:) By the way Laura, I think it was you that emailed me the p90X rotations and worksheets. Since I had to get a new harddrive, I've lost all my worksheets. Could you email them to me again (pretty please) at [email protected].

Nancy & Amy-you must be working out since I don't see your posts:)

When do you submit certification? I'm going for my AFPA and have a May 31st deadline but not sure I wont need an extension- Tough stuff!

My cert exam is due in the mail by May 15. I have to do "editing" to the essay portion and then do my practical. I may be asking for a 30 day extension myself just to get the practical done cause I KNOW I'll be doing parts of it over and over and over just cause I think I look fat, or am making an ugly face or whatever! LOL :p
 
Heavy weighted upper body done!!:)

SIL met me in the gym at lunch .. she has NEVER worked her arms in the gym .. only to what she does w/me doing P90X .. as I said b-4 she is small but strong . ..

Bless her heart .. hate to say she is gonna be sore tomorrow!

what we did:
70# Lat Pull Down (for me .. 50 # for her) .. 3 set 15 reps
70# Split Row Machine (arms individually lift 35 #) 3 sets 15 reps
50# Cable Bicep Curl (she did 30 #) 3 sets 15 reps
60# Cable Tricep push down (she did 50#) 3 set 15 reps

simple but effective .. she did GREAT ... and made me promise to do NO ARMS in class tonight .. so guess I will stick to the supped up Cardio class .. LOL!!!:) .. heck I have not done gym weights since starting the X .. I will probably be kicking my own butt tomorrow!! LOL

She has never done weights and is amazed at the difference in her body .. can I take a picture of her body and claim it to be my end results????}( (she is also 10 years younger than me .. LOL)

Diana .. you should have all three rotations now .. I sent them on to you. and don't stress about the diet .. I find when I stress about it . . I beat myself up too bad and really end up blowing it .. don't get hung up too much on numbers .. my motto is eat to workout stronger and longer .. fuel that body baby!!

Wendy .. forgot about your PT .. I don't think you will have anything to worry about .. you can do it!!!!

My work out is done and for someone who is not doing the X, it was certainly X-like!}( LOL

I did 30 mins of Itread set 3/40 mins at the gym after work and I just finished up ARX and BBC Chest and Abs (sans cardio). I am *FRIED*!!!!! I was right! It was push up he!! OMG I was DYIN'! Even after doin' all of that push up torture in the X, I was dyin'! AWESOME work out!}( I wonder if I will have DOMS in my abs tomorrow as I worked them twice today!:eek:

So lets see...I still have tri DOMS from Monday's work out. The leg DOMS certainly crept up on me today from yesterday's work out and tmrw may be abs and chest...OMG, if I keep layering on the DOMS I won't be able to get out of bed by the end of the week!:7 :+ :7 :+

you said NOTHING about push up torture in BBC x( .. OMG .. thought I was done w/the push up torture .. YIKES .. I am shaking now!!! LOL

get ready for some major complaining when my BBC gets in and I do that one!!! going to blame it ALL on you!! LOL:7

I didn't preview chest and abs before I did it. I was just figuring there would be push up torture in it and I guessed right! It's not as many as the X but because there is really no break like the X gives you it's just as painful! }( }( }( Have fun!:7
 
Here I am girls! Bringing up the rear again!! I have to remember to post from work or I don't get here until too late.....when no one reads it anymore, lol.

I did Power Hour tonight to change things up a little. My legs were still hurting but it's a good hurt. BUT.....nothing like you girls are doing. I wish I had half the stamina. I also need to make more time for myself!!!!

Hey all

Nope Nancy - I got the rear - LOL! Maybe Cathy will jump in later like she did last night.:)

I am beat - got home and did the X L&B, then wanted to do something different than ARX so I popped in BBC arms & abs weights. Tricep torture!!}( After that, DH came home and I did the warmup of X - C&B. After the first round of push ups I said - OK hun - you're on your own.:) He did about half of it and then we went for a walk with the dog. Tomorrow I think I'm gonna reward myself with rhythmic step that was interrupted last week.

Anyways - since it's late and I have tomorrow off, I'll post personals tomorrow morning.

Yes, I've got the caboose again and thought maybe no one read it since it was buried down under all the other threads. :)

Sorry no personals right now. Tuesday was a rest day. Yesterday I was supposed to do Core Syn, but I dozed off on the couch and slept right through it. Oops! So today, if I can keep myself awake, it'll be CS. Will try to get in for personals later.
