One of the BEST Workouts...in Years???

I was cruising in the forums on collage video and I came across various posts about the new Squeeze DVD. From the folks over in that neck of the woods...the workout is being hailed as "The Greatest of ALL TIMMMME!!"

...ok, that may be a little bit of me exaggerating with that line....

Of course, workout reviews are all subjective, but I wanted to get some feedback from you ladies here on this DVD if you have it.

Thanks ladies!!!

I ordered the Squeeze workout a few weeks ago and I am definitely one of those who thinks it's one of my best workout purchases in a long time. There is nothing about it that I found disappointing. I had high expectations after reading all the reviews and it has exceeded those expectations. Callanetics, Isculpt Ballet, Lotte Berk Method, etc. are the type of sculpting workouts I prefer which is part of the reason I love this workout so much.

I just like the results so much more when I incorporate these type of workouts into my routine. Squeeze is much, much harder than Bar/Berk and is more updated and different enough from Callanetics that I don't feel like I'm doing the same exercises with both workouts. Iballet is TOUGH and I love them as well, but sometimes it's nice to have something to look at. Like I said this is the type of sculpting I prefer because I want that long, lean look and these type of workouts provide those type of results. Bottom line: I absolutely LOVE IT!:D

Thank you for the responses!!

Thank you Shelley for providing the prior link!

Ciddy, quick question for you. Where are you able to find Iballet workouts? I did a google search and was unable to find a website.

Thanks again!:D

Rose,

The website is www.itrain.com. If you click on workout programs it will take you to a menu of workout choices. I love the iballet workouts. They are incredibly tough. Some are more so than others, but Grace works you hard. Also, people think you have to have an mp3 to do these, but you don't. I have an mp3, but I just burn them directly to a disc because I want to keep them and it's easier for me to play the cd on the player than workout with the mp3. If you decide to try them use the following codes when checking out and you can get three workouts for free: AH2007, CW2007, and YL2007.

I wasn't too sure about these workouts since you don't have the tv to look at, but I find that it's kind of nice to just focus on form. I rarely have problems folowing along. Some of the hardest, most thorough Iballets I have are #12, 15, 1, 10, 11, and 16. The Isculpt traditional are similar to Iballet and equally as tough. I have #5&9 and they are both booty kickers.

These workouts sound interesting...are completely auditory? Does the instructor just explain what to do and how does this work? Both of the prior questions sound silly to me when I read them back, but, I am trying to get the image here.

I would love to try something like this (both the squeeze and the iBallet workouts). Thank you Ciddy for the descriptions!

Hello,

Does anyone know where to buy this DVD apart from directly from the web site? I am trying to save on shipping costs.

I don't know if I would call it THE greatest workout of all time, but it has certainly and quickly become a favorite.

I purchased Fluidity this winter - and like it fine - but honestly haven't been using it much since I've been doing P90X. There just hasn't been much time to squeeze it in, it seems. On the other hand, I bought Squeeze a few weeks ago and have been MAKING time to add it on several days a week - that's how much I like it...I just keep wanting to do it! I don't think the moves nor the instructor give off a "ballet" vibe, if that makes any sense. Tracy is athletic and straightforward and gets right to the point. And man, do these moves burn!!! There's a buns & thighs segment on the Power Squeeze workout that gets into the inner thigh like nothing else I've ever tried.

All in all, I hope that more Squeeze workouts are in the works! This one ROCKS!

Hi Yen,

you can order Squeeze from www.collagevideo.com. Not sure how the shipping would be as i'm overseas myself.
I've tried ebay and amazon but never seen them there.
I've just ordered it from Collage Video myself and cannot wait to get it.

Oh heck! Looks like I'll be spending more money. I just looked at the preview on her website and it does look good. I like her personality as well.

One question: do you have to have that ball or would any small ball (like a football (soccer ball)) do?

Thanks
Ronne

Any ball works Ronne- Sometimes I use a small one like she has and sometimes I use my heavier medicine ball.
Hope you enjoy the new purchase!

Rose, I can't find any discussion of it at all on VF. Which forum were you in? It sounds interesting, but I don't have a ball or a wall. The walls in my living room where the DVD player is are all blocked by furniture.

Also, Can anyone tell me if there is a fun factor?

Okay, I caved too!!! I think it sounds like a workout you can take on vacation with you too. Am I right? I'm guessing I'd only have to bring light weights and a ball. Sounds like a plan!!!

Nancy :) :)

I know, Jennfit. It sounds like a must-have. I think I'm going to order it and a ball too. Can anyone suggest which kind of ball to order?

Nancy,
I think her website says 2-5 pounds so 3 pounds will probably be fine. Although, not having done the workouts...from the sound of things you might be wanting those 2lb'ers at some point }( At least it's only one DVD and not a whole series:7
