I dug back through the blog - the "poser" is unfortunately -- Greg.
But I still love Robert. He's cute. (I prefer dark haired guys anyway)
Although Greg does have a great, well-balanced body!
Have you ever seen Pumping Iron? I watched it to see if I could pick up an Arnie pointers, but I have never seen such bad form in my life! If I did lifting that way, I'd end up in the hospital! I am so careful about form, I find it physically painful to watch bad form and shout to the screen "keep your back straight, doofus!" In general, I have heard that women are much more careful about form, whereas men are more careful about showing off how much they can lift!
I'm surprised you guys think Greg acts as though he's 'all that.' I just think he's a fit dude who looks like he's working hard. But he also looks like he's enjoying himself. That's what I love about Cathe and her crew - they all look as though they are working hard, but they look like they're having fun while doing so.
But that's just my opinion.
Which guy are some of you ladies opposed to? Is it Greg? He gets the most screen time, but I personally think that's because he has the most endurance and best form. I like him. I like Robert a lot, too (dimples!). And Stuart - he makes me smile during the leg workouts - he really looks like he's feeling it! I like Erik, too, but he isn't in many of the workouts. When I workout, I am typically so busy setting up equipment or trying not to trip over my own feet (I'm sooo uncoordinated!), I don't get to look at the screen much. Which is why I preview. A lot.
To me keeping my shoulders safe is far more important than opening wide.
I think it's Greg.Which man cops the 'tude and acts like he's all that?
I think I know the one, but I don't know his name.
He is in almost all the STS calendar shots at the calendar's beginning except for the big one.
I have that movie as well. Those women then would just be considered fitness models now (some, not even). It's a good movie.
As someone else suggeted in another forum: it shows that big muscle is not always useful muscle.I do have to laugh sometimes when I notice what light dumbells they use. I've noticed in several exercises, I'm lifting heavier weights than they are! But I just chalk it up to Girl Power is all about endurance & toughing it out to the end.
