I've never done ME alone for any significant period of time - i've always combined it with other weighted workouts, so it's hard to say about the results. Having said that, it's a tremendous workout so I have to believe it's effective.
I also love this workout. Cathe manages to work every muscle group very thoroughly in a little over an hour. You'll get a good leg workout to with all the leg presses. I will either do this workout or Muscle Max when I want a total body workout. You won't be disappointed.
I've only been working with Cathe DVDs since April, but I can tell you that just recently (as in, 3 days ago) I've noticed strength gains ~ especially my biceps. My weight rotations include ME, the Pyramids, and Slow and Heavy.
This is one of my favorite Cathe workouts. I don't mind the leg presses and for some reason love the biceps and shoulders. Oh and also the ab routine is great! I'll sometimes just tack on the bicep section to another workout. I just did this one this morning. The DVD also has boot camp another goody. There is also a great premix combing ME and Boot Camp. Can't go wrong with this DVD.
