More fashion advice needed

Well, not outer fashion, but under fashion. ;) I just got this beautiful hankerchief halter dress. Now, I can normally go bra-less with these types of styles b/c I'm not, ahem, very well endowed, but the problem is the material is a very thin silk so it's out of the question.

I'm not sure exactly what I'm supposed to wear under this thing. Pasties? :eek: I don't even know where to get pasties. I saw a backless bra on the Gap website, but it might show in the front.

Any advice?
 
You can buy nipple petal stickies at Target and I think Wal Mart as well. If you are small enough you don't need a bra, they might work. They are little flower shaped band aid things that stick and cover up your headlights. Never used them, but I've seen them. They might work, and if they don't, they're cheap and you haven't wasted much money.

I was in Macy's today in the lingerie dept. and they had all kinds of stick-on bra type of stuff. I didn't look at them all that carefully, but maybe something there would work?
 
Remember in high school I had a friend who just put bandaids over the headlights. Is that what you are looking to detract from?

You say it is a handkerchief halter - one of the thin strapped convertible bras won't work?

And lastly . . . I wanna see a pic pretty please? :rolleyes: Maybe we can come up with more ideas . . . :p
 
Laura - I have a top that I couldn't figure out a bra for (plus it's not like I ever need a bra anyway either!) but it was sort of see through. I got the flesh colored little flower shaped things that just stick on. It is actually a top that Grace wore on Will and Grace and I always wondered what they did to make it work on TV.
 
No Band Aids

Old school. I did that ONCE and when I took them off my skin was red and you could see the exact outline of the band aid on my breasts. Stung like hang tool.

Doesn't Spanx make something for this??
 
Here it is. I guess there's a trip to Target in my very near future. I was gonna just do the bandaids, but after Baylian's post I'm having second thoughts. :eek:

That is a beautiful dress. I wish I could pull off that look! You're gonna have the men folk following you around with their tongues hitting the ground and the women folk giving you the skunk eye.

I see how it is pretty low cut V in the front and would be hard to find a bra for. Yep it sounds like the "petal" covers would probably be the best.

Man oh man can you pick a gorgeous one girl ! The colors are perfect for me if you decide it doesn't work for you ! :p ;)
