Just looked at the exercises for Chest, Shoulders & Triceps for the 1st week of Meso 2 and nearly gave a "yee-haw" in my office. No push-ups!!!!! I loathe push-ups. Maybe it's my wrists, maybe it's the dog hair that I can't completely get off the rug, or maybe I just don't like them.... but I'm happy to not have to do them today!:D

I just started Meso 1 yesterday ... I agree with you I hate the pushups.. just cuz I suck at them lol!!
How was the results with meso #1? I am doing #2 tomorrow only thing I am not sure of is the pull up bar! I don't have one big problem! What did you do for that or do you have one?

Hi :) Congrats on entering Meso 2 territory! I'm currently on my third round of STS. Im on week 2 of Meso 2. I am much more sore this time through. I must be giving it my all this time around. Love hating those DOMS! Meso 2 takes alot out of you so eat your wheaties ! :) Good luck!

We've got a thread going about that very thing in OD! Not only were there 1,000,000 pushups in Meso 1 but they were at a FAST pace.

And for me it's cat hair. Or one of the cats, since I have two that like to walk under me when I'm doing (or trying to do?) pushups so I also have to make sure I don't squoosh him or her when I collapse and can't do any more! :D

So how do you like the chinups/pullups in Meso 2?

Cataddict, I too tend to collapse in the pushups, I'm glad my dogs are both to big to try to walk under me, LOL!

Midgetdogg, could you (or another user) tell me how to get my weight loss and STS progress to show up in a bar graph like yours? Thanks!

Ketros - since Meso 1 marked my return to working out in about 9 months, I'd say my results were decent. I did end up ordering the Pull Tower, because I didn't have anything else that would work (no place to hang tubing). I decided the tower would be a decent investment since I could use it for a squat rack when I get ready to do that. I did use it for a bench press rack last night, and ended up not getting one end secured before letting go.... and it fell on my face. Ouch. No major damage, it was more funny than painful.

I noticed starting Meso 2 last night that I felt a lot stronger and ready to go after finishing Meso 1 and having my recovery week. And I really liked the first DVD - it seemed to go faster, even though it was longer. I think it's because all the groups are done together (all chest, then all shoulder, and then triceps) instead of mixing them together. I think I mayget the Perfect Pushup thingies, since my wrists just can deal with the exercise. They really are a great exercise, so I have to learn to love them again. I used to not hate them. I just don't like doing so many of them. It gets old really quick.

Cattaddict and Th8nkful - my cats leave me alone (I've got 3), but my Australian shepherd is ALL over me whenever I try anything that gets me on the floor. Makes me nuts and he gets banished to another room. He's still pretty young, so I'm hoping he'll outgrow this.

Th8nkful - if you go into Cathe Fun, you will find where you can set up your STS and Weight Loss tracker bars.
