I just did Low Max for the first time today. I LOVED IT! . The step combos, the blasts, the music, everything was just awesome! My legs were SCREAMING by the end .

Thanks Cathe for this absolute gem :)

Natasha:)

Low Max was one of my first Cathe videos - along with the one that came with the step. I loved it and still do it when I want a great leg workout, but feeling in a low impact kind of mood. Glad you like it!!!!

Low Max was one of the first Cathe workouts I tried, recorded off of FitTV. {which of course led to my buying many more!} It was the first workout I every actually enjoyed, when I realized that exercise could be fun. ;)

Lowmax was one of the first ones for me to. I did basic first. And tried lowmax when I got a new step.. I nevef heard such music on a dvd before or had such choreography before! Had to keep doing inspite of falling on my butt once! It was a fun kind of ouch! Love this one!

How much room is needed for this workout? I workout in a tight space and can't do step workouts that move all around the step.

Low Max is a good leg and cardio workout. I've had it for a long time, and it has "staying" power (I don't get tired of it). It's different from the Low Impact Series (some people have asked on this Forum whether Low Max is worth getting once they have the LIS, and I say emphatically, YES!).

The video clip gives you a good sense of space requirements. You do need to move around the step and to the sides. The furthest movement away from the step comes around 3 minutes into the clip. I work out on a 5' X 8' carpet and to avoid going off the carpet, I start my lateral movements off center (e.g., when I need to move to the right, I start from the left instead of the center). I hope that makes sense.

Nope, this one might not be right for you then. It does require you to move around the step often. Don't get me wrong, I mean you could modify, but you might get frustrated. How big is your space BTW? If it is the size of mine, which is approx 14ft x 10ft, you should be ok.
