Belinda, the way the insert on the Voltaran cream sounds scary. I guess they have to cover themselves if anyone has a side effect or anything. If you read labels on insaids like ibuprofen it has worrisome warnings, but people use it like crazy. Like it can cause stroke as can a lot of meds. My granddaughter had kidney failure and was in the hospital for over a week and the doctors said it was that ibuprofen, and she was just one of those people that had issues. She never takes anything if she is hurting since then. My daughter was always like , "no way". We were afraid we might lose her. I watched her during the day after the hospital stay and we worked on diet etc.. She would never tell if she felt bad and I took the grandchildren to subway and she was almost ready to pass out so I called my daughter so she could meet us part way from work and check her out. She took her back to work with her. To this day I try to be careful as I used to use tons of Excedrin all of the time till I realized I had rebound headaches. Somewhere through the years my migraines stopped though. I finally tossed my migraine medicine.
I must have strained my upper back and shoulders today as they really hurt tonight. It seems strange to me that all of these meds were easy to purchase in Germany. I would have thought a cream med would not be as strong as taking the drug internally. I read people on Amazon that said they used it on their necks and shoulders and the insert and website says not to as they "have not studied those areas" Why would they only study part of the body with the cream?
