Like/review/verify/don't buy check in for 2016- 2024

Today I did Cathe I Max live, 44 minutes, 387 calories, avg. heart rate 140/ max 168. I then did the abs from live bar and bands followed by some abs on my own and Chisel Abs, 24 minutes, 129 calories. Total time was 68 minutes, calories 515. I also did the extended stretch from STS but did not count that. I did that along with foam rolling and additional stretching.

Laura, I have heard the PRS2 is a good one.

Belinda, do they do kettle bells and kickboxing on the same workout? It sounds interesting. I have TRX workouts that do TRX and kettle bell circuits. I like those.

ICE Rock'n & Sock'n KB Timesaver Premix : #6 Punching Combos: After the Warm Up you will do only the three "Punching Combo" segments from the main workout. - 24:21 and KB Scorcher Series " Strength " is done. There is no warm up or cool down in KB Scorcher Strength.

Diane Sue - she does mixes KB and kickboxing. So far, I am liking the workouts. Nice job on your workout yesterday.

Laura - I don't have PRS2. Glad you like that one, good job.

Today I did Cathe live Blast, Bands and Barre warm up to the point they pick up weights, 8 minutes, 48 calories. This was for an extended warm up before I did Cathe Live Soaker Cycle, 53 minutes, 528 calories, 12 miles. This was a good name for this workout. It kept my HR up. When I was done my HR monitor had me at 151 Avg and 167 max. I don't think that I have ever kept my HR up that much. I know there were some times it slowed a bit. I switched to the watch and regular transmitter when I started Soaker Cycle because after the warm up I did before it, the Bluetooth transmitter started going bonkers. It had me at 198 HR at the end of the warm up. I think that I do not like that thing. I waste too much time trying to correct it. Calories burned 576, 61 minutes. I finished off with premix #1 of Yoga Relax. but did not include it in the calorie burn. I think I am going to take a few days off. I have a mammogram Friday morning and Saturday I am taking the grandson to soccer, Sunday is generally a rest day and family day. I am on the fence with maybe doing lower tomorrow or resting. I will wait and see how I feel. I have put off the mammogram till my shoulder is good. I usually get the extra digital imaging even though insurance does not cover it. Too much breast cancer and other cancers in the family along with my past uterine cancer.

Today I decided to go ahead and do legs. I am taking the next f3 days off. I did Cathe live All About Legs, 72 minutes, 423 calories. I added a 7 minute stretch from fitness blender, 20 calories since Cathe's was pretty short.
All About legs (I did most of the jumping when possible on the rebounder)
warm up about 14 minutes when they pick up 10# dumbbells and do squat with 1 dumbbell, pop squat, squat overhead press dumbbell each hand, jump forward/back 4 times repeat 3 times (I think 3)
12# dumbells latral walk, 3 sets of plie jacks 16 reps
12# dumbbells static lunge singles low ends and pulses all on the right side then all on the left
Dixie cups
no cup at first 13 reps each side side lunge/crossback, same move but put Dixie cups down and pick up 13 reps each side
forward lunge pick up alternating , ending with a pick up and put down low lunge set
@ 28 min. firewalker loop, plie jacks, turns, forward back jacks
@ 32 min. disc side slide lunge 16 reps right then 16 left
side lunge to crossback all one side then repeat other (some pulses)
@ 37 min. a stretch bresk
disc warrior lunge
@ 40 min. put away weights and discs, keep firewalker loop
Chair or barre
side kick and rapid fire all on one side switch sides and repeat
add firewalker loop, calf pumps, calf raises, single leg calf raises
loop on foot press back then hamstring curls repeat other side

Hi ladies,

My dog Brawler had an MRI, X-rays, blood work and spinal tap done today. The MRI took over an hour. He is still pretty out of it from the Anesthesia. They also took spinal fluid for analysis to screen for inflammatory conditions. They also took 2 blood tests. One of the test we will get the results in a few day's, the other one we will get in 7-10 day's. The MRI showed disc degeneration/bulging and nerve root impingement (which they are conducting additional tests). We had an appointment at the Veterinary Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine in Annapolis, MD at 10:30 a.m and didn't leave until 5:30 p.m. Annapolis is 1.5 hour (one way) from where we live. I will be back in the morning. Good night.
 
Belinda, I hope they can find out a way to help Brawler. I am sorry that you are having to watch your dog suffer. I know it is hard, they are such a part of the family.

Rest day today. Mammogram., shopping, laundry, and now my husband , son and grandson are working on the kitchen ceiling and lighting remodel, Almost ready to install the tin ceiling. Tomorrow I will be out the door early for my grandson's soccer practice.

Belinda, your mix of boxing, and the other workouts look like a good combo.

I am done with KB Scorcher Diversity and ICE MTB Timesaver premix: #4 Timesaver MishMosh - 31:38. Lots of core work in KB Scorcher Diversity. I was going to add a ab workout, but my core is worked out :) Once I am done with finishing 200 DVD's, I will do a full rotation of KB Scorcher. I really like it. Dasha talks no stop through the entire workout, lol. I know for some that would be a problem. It didn't border me at all, lol.

Diane Sue - hope your appointment went well yesterday and you had fun with your family.

Today I did Flex Train's first 25 mintues (up until the gliding discs) and then Great Glutes standing section. Lots of work for the glutes which have been sitting way to much. I always have to go heavier on these and did so again this morning, 15's i/o 8's. I think I put these into the intermediate category with ICE but when I go heavier its a good workout and I like them.
 
Belinda, so sorry to hear about your dog. I know how close I am to our furry babies.

I'm resting the rest of this week as my ulcer has flared up.

I also did GAIAM YOGA for Flexibility & Stress Relief: Smooth & Stretch w/Rodney Yee = 20 min and Relax & Restore w/ Suzanne Deason = 20 min. I am glad I did the 2nd workout with Suzanne. Rodney was more lower body and Suzanne's was more upper body. I really needed that yoga.

Today's workout was Cathe Live Fitness Fusion, 53 minutes. 392 calories, heart rate 127 avg./160 max. I then did To the Mat legs and Icy Core stopping at the end of the firewalker loop and skipping the non weight and superman and doing the core and stretch, 46 minutes, 211 calories. My workout was 99 minutes, 603 calories.
Live Fitness Fusion rundown 8 and 10# dumbbells (I used 10's except one segment that I used 8) Also I may have missed some of the moves for cardio but this is pretty much an idea of what it contains.

Doreen, I usually up the weights on those workouts too. Don't you like the gliding discs? I find them a bit uncomfortable but don't mind them when I get adjusted to them.

Belinda, what is JF Step? :) I like it when I can get in a nice relaxing yoga that covers upper and lower but it seems that they are often more one than the other.
 
Diane Sue - JF= Jenny Ford :) Sorry about that! I did like that the yoga covers upper and lower body and 20 min was perfect. Cathe Live workouts looks like a lot of fun. Good job yesterday.

Hello everyone,

The ulcer is feeling a little better. I have 1-2 flare ups a year on average. It is related to my GERD. I've suffered from GERD since teens. It runs in my family. I always eat a vegetarian, gluten free, non cow milk free diet (allergic). I also stay away from coffee and tea. During my flare ups I have to make sure I follow a bland diet as well. Once I get over the upset stomach/constant belching stage I'll try to work out again.

Been just a crazy time, in addition to my ulcer thing, my husband broke out in rashes all over. I always use 100% perfume free, dye free laundry detergent, but recently changed brands. So I bought new laundry detergent and tried to rewash all his clothes, and then my washing machine broke. And the first few days of our new modem was great, and then over the last week we are losing Internet (both the hard wired and wifi) for up to a couple of hours a day. It is completely unreliable. I was praying when I was submitting my taxes that we would not lose service. Plus, on top of everything else, my plantar fasciitis is acting up again. I've had to go back to taping my feet again.

Hopefully I will be able to workout soon. The weather is supposed to get really nice. If I tape my feet, I should be able to walk.
