Like/review/verify/don't buy check in for 2016- 2024

I paid for my Fit Split series with Pay Pal and have not received a download code. I think this happened last year and I had to contact them which took time. I am sure the dvds will be here before I get them downloaded.

Belinda, I know you will love it. I like my rebounder but would love one with the bungees.
 
Diane Sue- bummer about the downloads! I almost paid with PayPal but at the last minute changed my mind. I got mine downloaded last night. I did Pull day this morning and then an indoor cycle 30 min gymbox workout.

My workout is done. I used Build and Burn premixes. I did Build and Burn Cardio Core & Upper Intervals, 33 minutes, heart rate average 127, max 151, 1,904 steps, 217 calories. This one had the cardio core segments with 1 superset for each body part between cardio core and ended with the burn out set. I liked it :D I then followed with the mix upper two which is two sets of the upper body with burn outs. I skipped the warm up so it was 18 minutes, 99 calories, heart rate average 115, max 153. I finished off with Suzanne Bowen Barre Amped Strengthen and Stretch Upper stretch, 13 minutes, 33 calories. Total time was 64 minutes and calories burned 349.
First time through with the 1 set and then second time through with the two sets weights:
Reverse grip press 12's; two sets 12's 12's
lateral raise and extend 8's cardio core ; two sets 8's 8's

pulse curls 12's ; two sets 12's 12's
pledges 12# cardio core ; two sets 15's 15's

seated overhead extension 20#; two sets 20#, 20#
tate press 15's cardio core ; two sets 15's 15;s

reverse grip bench press 15's ; two sets 15's, 15's
connected dumbbell press 15's cardio core; two sets 15's, 15's

seated rows 20's; two sets 15's 15's
standing cross row 20# cardio core; two sets 20#, 20#

burn out with intervals 8# dumbbells with a 15# for rows, burn out with two sets 10# dumbbells throughout

Doreen, how did you like the pull workout? I emailed and posted and am pretty annoyed about the Pay Pal thing. I went through a lot last time as well and my email is good enough for my order and telling me they sent them but apparently that is their thought on my not getting a code.
 
Diane Sue- I liked it. Very efficient workout.

Its 3 sets 10 reps, 8 reps, 6 reps for most exercises. There are a couple supersets for shoulders and biceps thrown in.

The hamstrings roll ins at end are tough for me. I'll have to work up to getting through them all.

Doreen, I really do like how the hamstrings roll ins work the hamstrings. You can really feel them. BTW, I got my Fit Split dvds in the mail a few minutes ago. I doubt the Downloads will be available till next week now.

I did a walk and JS Barre Sculpt this morning.

Doreen - my friend bought the new Cathe dvd's, she wanted me to review the new workouts with her so I did. And no...I am not buying the :) Way to high impact for me. I will give them a try with my friend next week, if my PF feels better. Glad you like the new workouts.

Diane Sue - as always, fantastic job with your workouts.

Belinda, nice work. I will probably wait till Monday to start trying the new workouts. I finished my month of Build and Burn.
 
Diane Sue - thank you! Not sure, if I will try the cardio? The cardio is very high impact but short.Maybe I wait until my JumpSport arrives next week. In one of the workouts one of the back ground exerciser makes funny faces:( Not sure, what that was all about? Very annoying! In STS one of her back ground exerciser made funny faces too. The cardio isn't anything new, the weight workout looked good.

Belinda, I thought the cardio looked the same. I am disappointed that the low impact uses the gliding discs a lot. I am not a fan of using them so much for cardio and again there is the dragging across the floor with the discs. I Guess I will see how it is when I do it. That is one I was having hopes for. The strength work does look good though.

Today is my rest day. My granddaughter 17 and her boyfriend are coming for dinner and visiting till they go to a New Years get together at their church at 9. I put in a roast and made some homemade brownies :D Now to keep on mind that I am trying to cut back on the sweets and junk!!

I did JS WS3 D41 Barre Sculpt and 3 mile walk.

Diane Sue - I had a feeling the cardio would be the same as her other workouts. I am glad I didn't get the new set. I was disappointed when I saw the clips. When I saw the gliding clip and dragging across the floor I was out :) Shred Cardio her cuing is off.

Today is my rest day. I have my granddaughter and her boyfriend coming over for dinner in a bit :D I will start working through the Fit Split workout tomorrow. I want to try to add yoga in more than I have been lately.

Belinda, I guess I will find out on the workouts how I feel.
 
Diane Sue - have fun with your granddaughter and her boyfriend. We staying home with Brawler. I will do one of the Fit Split workouts too. Not sure, which one yet? My friend is coming over and wants to do one with me. I can't leave Brawler alone.

I did Shred Cardio yesterday afternoon. There are a couple new patterns with old moves and I thought it fun. Everything is done as blasts... so its like a premix of Imax blasts only. Except I don't think the blasts are as hard as the Imax blasts. I will like it as a quick intense cardio (also like intensity step) that's not quite HIIT. I have figured out how I can modify every jumping move which I will probably do most of the time. I love step so I liked this one.

This morning I did Body Design, kickbox w/ dumbell, Upper, Lower and light dumbell cardio sculpting. Impressive what Kelly has done here. This was one my library purchased so I can always check it out. The more Kelly I have tried the more impressed I am with her stuff. Nothing weird, minimal impact, heavy weights, efficient and she doesn't haul out a lot of equipment to do it. I'm going to sign up for her vimeo channel- probably next month after I get through with Build & Burn and Cathe's stuff.

And lastly HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I should have said that first. And I'll ask again- should I move to another thread you ladies are on as a check-in and let this one retire since its just the three of us?!!!?
 
Today I did FIt Split Boxing Boot camp /legs and glutes, 58 minutes, 410 calories, heart rate average 125/ max 172, 3,899 steps. I added the Bonus abs separately (there is a basic mix that adds them ) 13 minutes, 68 calories, heart rate average 113, max 148, 229 steps. I ended with the lower body stretch from Suzanne Bowen Barre Amped Strengthen and Stretch , 20 minutes, 44 calories. 522 calories, 91 minutes. I used Cathe's weight for everything except the squats which I used 25's for. I usually try to go with what she does till I get a feel for the workout. Also it will be easier to write down when we get the users guide and work sheets. I was looking trying to decide what to do tomorrow from Fit Split. It looks like at least three of the dvds has dead lifts in them. I don't care for doing dead lifts too many days in a week. I might have to go light on some of those days. I will have to check out the format she uses. The abs were hard because there is so much stuff that taxes my shoulders. I liked it though, as it is pretty tough. I hate when I am told that I will build endurance in areas after while. No way that is going to happen if you have an area that is prone to injury. My wrists hurt today. Oh, to be young again :)

Doreen, I really have found Kelly's Body Design to be quite useful. I downloaded the Vimeo app last night onto my tablet. I will probably try her channel eventually. I really do like the workouts she had on YouTube. Maybe I will try the cardio shred tomorrow. I like doing step workouts.

How was everyone's New Year? DH and I stayed home, I couldn't leave Brawler alone with all the fireworks. Boy it's cold outside.

Today I started STS M3 W1 D25 plus JS W7 D43 Metabolic Conditioning. I also walked 2 miles.

Diane Sue - what did you think of the workout? Great job, great start into the New Year.

Doreen - let me know what you come up with the on the modification on those workouts. Too bad she doesn't show modification. On the other hand it saved me some $$ :)

Today I did Fit Split Low Impact Cardio/ Metabolic conditioning, 49 minutes, 324 calories, heart rate average 124/max 155, 2,155 steps. I then did Barre Amped Strength and stretch relaxation stretch and bonus ball stretch 20 minutes, 40 calories. I used Cathe's weights for the metabolic conditioning workout, Total time was 69 minutes, 364 calories. I wish there was not quite so much of the to the floor and back up moves. I think the older I get the less I like that type of work. Maybe part is because I am still sore from yesterday. My oblique area and low back are sore after yesterday's bonus abs from Fit Split.

Belinda, I like most of the new workout. I am still not fond of two the floor and back up multiple times. She uses t he high step that has to be dragged into place quite a bit. She does not use as heavy of weight for it as she has in some previous workouts. Overall it was good. Today's seemed pretty light on the cardio. I don't like plank kickbacks and floor and up and down multiple times. My back and oblique area is sore from yesterday's abs and I am sure that it made it seem more difficult getting up and down. I think I may string the two cardios from push and from pull together tomorrow and do the push and pull together premix on Thursday. I will be modifying on those plyo push ups she has in there. They have always been hard on my wrists and shoulders. I am not doing them that way.

Today I did a 3 mile walk and JS WS3 D44 Cardio Step Jam + 15 min add on abs.

Diane Sue - I hear you on getting older, lol. I don't like that kinda workouts either. I been reading over on VF on the workouts. The boxing workout looks like a winner. The one you didn't today wasn't. I was suppose to do the Fit Split workouts with my friend, couldn't get myself to do them. I am trying to finish all the programs/rotations I started. I may do it soon?? Be careful with those workouts.

Belinda, you should take the opportunity to try the workouts. The weights look okay to me. I think I will like the Shred one with the step. I am unsure about the mixed impact though. The cardio in the Low Impact was very short. This was the shortest workout in the set.
