Today I just did cardio so I started with Fit Split Cardio Shred timesaver #1 cardio only mix with warm up and stretch, 29 minutes, heart rate average 141, max 167, 224 calories, 2,654 steps. I then did Fit Split Mixed Impact Cardio Timesaver #1 cardio only with w/u and stretch, 28 minutes, heart rate average 138, max 167, 2,585 steps. Total time today was 57 minutes, 416 calories, 5,239 steps. Hopefully I am ready for some more of the weight work tomorrow. Shred uses the step and is a lot of jumping on and off the step. There is a lot of impact in it. Mixed Impact was not too bad. There was enough break between the impact which was not terribly long in each segment. Then again both have some burpee moves in them as well. This is not a great thing for me right now.

Thanks for the information. I can't wait until Fit Split is available On Demand. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be available later this week. I understand what you mean about lots of jumping on and off of the step. I've had PT for my right knee and find that either just stepping up or a soft jog onto the step works best for me. Hope you enjoy the rest of the Fit Split series! :)

Today was Build & Burn Kickbox Kettlebell. I did the kickbox with 1lb hand weights this time. Then I added on WS3 15 minute total body and 1 mile of motivation. My kids go back to school tomorrow so I'm going to miss my leisurely mornings with full hour workouts!!

I'm waiting until the rotation is posted to do anymore of the Fit Split workouts because I want to finish a month of Build & Burn before moving on.... or that's the plan for now!

Strong is beautiful, there is a few places where Cathe mentions a modification movement. I think if you have done plenty of Cathe's workouts you can figure out modifiers that work for you. I am looking forward to trying the push and pull workouts next :) I think I may love the strength work more than the cardio myself. I wish the low impact cardio was a bit longer.

Doreen, the last time I did Build and Burn I wore 1# gloves and used a 15# kettlebell instead of the 20# I used previously. I just kept the gloves on when doing the kettlebell segments and it worked great. I am guessing that is what you did? I want to do that one again this week for some other cardio work. I did complete a full month of Build and Burn. It is a great program.

Thank goodness for the modifications, that’s for sure! Do you use the On Demand service? Workout Blender is great! For some of Cathe’s shorter cardio workouts that I really like, I put them in the blender back to back for a double shot.

I have not used the on Demand service because I have all of Cathe's dvds. I have only used the live workouts. I have heard others have enjoyed being able to mix the workouts up with the blender. I just pop in and out different workouts :)

I don't subscribe either but I will sometimes chapter backwards and re-do a couple segments to make the workouts longer too.

This morning I did Build & Burn Lower Body Tabatas. I tried 30# DBs for most of the moves but found my grip strength is really the limiting factor and I had to drop to 25# by the 3rd set!! I didn't think of it until I was done but I should have stuck with my 25# and put my weight vest on!! I'll have to remember it for next time. Then I followed with JS WS3 Lower body. Oh my goodness! That is a great lower body program too! I only got through 20 minutes of it before I had to get my son off to school but lots of good lower body moves packed into that 20 min! And the pace is right for going as heavy as you can handle.

Hi everyone,

Today I did JS WS3 D46 Barefoot Cardio Core, I also walked 3 miles. Than I did Fit Split Kickboxing. I skipped the leg workout, I will do it on Saturday. I worked my legs yesterday. They need a break. I did like the KB workout, had to modify the heck out off those flying angels, jumps forwards/back and Burpees. I marched in place/or walked forward and back instead. I didn't like the music either.

Diane Sue - good job with your weight workout today.

Doreen - good job this morning. JS WS3 LB is great :)

That's it for me today, my legs are shaking. Need to rest a little, before I move on to more house work.

Doreen, I have the 20# weight vest like Cathe had and I forget I have it. I shoved it in the closet because my 3 year old and 6 year old grandsons kept taking out the weights. I like Kelly's Pace in Build and Burn.

Belinda, I don't always do all of the flying angels, but just do straight jumps. Those can be done on the rebounder and save a lot of joint stress.

Belinda- I see that Amy Bento just posted two new rebounder workouts on her youtube page. You should check them out when you get your jumpsport all set up!! I bookmarked them to give them a try as well.

Diane Sue - I can't do any jumping at all with my PF. Marching it is. Can't wait for my JumpSport, it's still in Ca.

Doreen - do you have a rebounder? I will check her TY out. I know she has a lot on there.

Doreen are those Amy rebounder workouts different from the original two she had posted? I kind of liked the rebounding and kettle bell in the firsy ones.

Belinda, it seems others have ordered the Jump Sport and and it took awhile to arrive. I am so used to Amazon Prime, that I get impatient when other merchants take so long. :)

Diane Sue - with Costco I can return it for a full refund, no questions ask. Even if I own it for a year and have problems, they will take it back. Amazon you can't do that. I order a lot of stuff from Amazon that Costco doesn't have. Costco guarantees me the product works for years. You con't get that anywhere else.

Doreen - those rebounder workouts look good. Can't wait to try them once I have my JS.

Today I did Kelly Coffey Build and Burn Kettlebell Kickbox Fusion, 25 minutes, heart rate average 136, max 177, 1,645 steps. I then did Fit Split Boxing Bootcamp timesaver #1 just kickboxing, 35 minutes, heart rate average 130, max 161, 229 calories, 3070 steps. Total time was 61 minutes, calories burned 395. Total steps so far today 5,403. I wore 1# gloves and used the 15# kettlebell for Kellys workout this morning.

Belinda, I have never shopped through Costco before. I know of several women that purchased their Jump Sports through Costco.

Belinda, there is not a Costco here that I know of. I am sure I would have heard if there was by now. Just Sams all over the place.

Diane Sue - you can google if there is one near by? I have to drive 45 min to Costco. Not really close, but well worst it, IMO!
