Jumping Back on the Cathe Wagon :)

The year is young and it hasn't been the best so far. I lost my job at the end of last year, got another one that I hated so much I cried going to and coming home from it, quit working out because I felt guilty about doing it when my husband didn't want to since he had pledged to work out with me this year and get fit -- and then to top it all off the marriage (of 19 years/23 together) has come to an end. He moved out yesterday.

Today, without guilt, I have jumped back on the Cathe Wagon and I happily did KPC this morning. It felt so good, and it feels so good right now as I sit on the couch and notice that my legs are a tad sore. Tomorrow I will start STS, again (and this time I will follow through), and I can't wait!!

I also started a new job 2 weeks ago at a fabulous law firm and I think I've found my home there. Not to mention the sun is out today and the high is 70, and tomorrow they say it will be 75!!!

The year is young and hasn't been the best, but it is definitely looking up.

Travis :)

Travisli:

I am so sorry you have had such a tough year so far! Sometimes life definately throws Lemons at you! I too was laid off the day before my birthday and going on 6 weeks out of work, but hopefully start a new job tomorrow, too, so I feel your pain! I remember reading your Success Story and thinking that you have come so far! I'm cheering you on and am glad that you are once again finding the joy in your life with a new job that you like and exercising (with Cathe, too!) that will help heal your soul!

I'm paraphrasing because I can't remember the exact quote I have read recently, but it goes something like "it's not how many times you fall down, or how far you fall, it's what you do to pick yourself up again and move forward that counts!"

Hang in there sweetie! things will get better!

there is always room

On the Cathe wagon!!! Welcome back and congratulations on the job. I hope things get better for you.

Hopefully things will continue to look up for you. Congrats on the new job. Welcome back on the Cathe bandwagon. Let the torture and fun begin!

Thanks for all the kindness, I'm happy to be back on the wagon and I'm looking forward to the fun AND the pain of it all :)

Dani I hope the job you start tomorrow is everything you need it to be -- I appreciate the quote -- I know things are only going to get better!! :)

Travis, I'm sorry your year has started out so tough. I often tell my kids and DH that bad times cycle just like the good times, which means you have some great times coming your way (starting with your new job)!! You're due!

Welcome back! :)

Oh, Travis! I'm so sorry you are going through a horrible time right now. Getting back on the wagon, is the very best thing you can do for yourself. Get strong, bigger and better things are just around the corner. Have faith. I'm glad you know you are going to be OK.

I've been thinking about you! So sorry to hear about everything but I'm glad you're back and working out. I'm so proud of you! You can't keep a good woman down!! Put Steven on and rock out!!!

Stay strong my friend!!

I am so sorry that your year has been so rough. :( Working out again, especially with Cathe ;), is one of the best things you could be doing right now! Good luck and awesome job getting back on the wagon!:)

You all are so great! Thanks for all of the encouragement! Today is another new day and I'm happy to be a part of it!!

Jane, thanks for thinking about me -- Steven has been on pretty much a 24/7 rotation for a while now. . . his voice is good for the soul!! Rockin out for sure!! ;)

Have a great day everyone!

Travis! I've missed you here! Sorry to hear all that you've been going through. Hang in there. This too shall pass. This economy sorta sucks big time a bunch of companies in my small town have laid off like crazy and even my 2nd graders teacher got laid off too.
If it means anything your fitness success story continues to be a source of true inspiration to me. When I'm feeling in a rut I always go back and read your post in the sucess forum. So job or no job you do a great job of continuing to inspire and help me with my fitness goals, . . all just by being you. :)

I remember your succes story and you were so encouraging and inspirational to me! I'm still fighting the same blasted 40 pounds but I know if you can keep going with all the distractions of your life right now, so can I!
