I got up early this morning and got Imax 3 done..Now I am off for my annual gyno appointment..I never look forward to that.

Good morning Kathy and all that follow

This morning I did Cardio and Weights. Its one of my favorites:p I will have the song Butter Cup in my head all day.

I am trying to get motivated to get things done around the house. But I can't seem to get off the computer. Having fun reading the blogs about the RT and looking at the pics too. I really wish I was going in Aug but may be next year.

Lori I love Buttercup in that WO its such a happy song ...C&W is a great one too I did it last Monday and felt so good afterwards.


So did everyone have a good weekend?

I mainly stood off my pc yesterday as I was busy here w/ the family.

Anyhoo I'm off to do my wo HSTA (LOL I needed a rest day on Friday due to lack of sleep so I'm doing it today :p) and then out the door I need to go run some errands out before it gets too hot

Today I started the July' 08 rotation with Supersets..had a great workout...:D

Lori and Vilma- this might change your opinion of me...but I just have to say, I groan when Buttercup comes on...that song drives me nuts! LOL If it weren't for that song, C&W would probably be in my top 5! Anyhow, Lori I'm glad you had a good workout ;)

Kathy- Great job on getting motivated for IMAX 3 this early morning! I'm sorry you have to go through your worst 15 minutes of the year today...:( I try and tell myself it's only 15 min. and it's all done!

( you know, I try and tell myself the same thing when Buttercup comes on in C&W....:eek:)

Kathy: I hate going to those appointments! But, it has to be done. Great job on Imax 3, I really like that one!

Lori: I really like C&W, I need to get that one! I have it on the Terminator, but I need to get the one with CW and Imax 2.

I hope you all have a great day today! No workout for me today. I'm cleaning out my pantry and freezer, getting rid of all the non-healthy food, and getting ready for my new way of eating. Starting on Monday (August) I will start my butts and guts rotation (hopefully my ankle will permit) and start eating healthy and I'm going to push myself hard, and not give up, or be tempted to eat something I shouldn't. I've made a commitment and I'm sticking to it :)

Ohh, on my new avatar pic, It was taken 5 yrs ago and this is how I want to be again :) I was only 130 lbs and 38 inches on my hips, now I'm 145 lbs and 41 inches on hips. This is why I need to change my eating habbits :)
 
Hey Checker Inners!

I just got done with 103 Minutes of 4DS Premix: Kickbox and ALL Upper Body!! I feel quite accomplished. I burned 727 calories according to my HR watch. just KNOW my upper body is going to be talking to me tomorrow ;)


Kathy: IMAX 3 is TOUGH STUFF! I'm not so sure I could do that early AM!! Hi-5's to YOU!!! Hope your GYN appt goes smoothly. The worst part for ME is after they tell you to undress and put the silly backwards robe on, and they take FOREVER to come in. And my butt starts to sweat! LOL!!! I know...TMI! :eek:


Lori: I'm going to have to agree with you on the "Buttercup" song... it's catchy and cute! *phlbtttttt* to you, Pinny! ;) But I really do like C&W too. Wondering, I know you said you do WW'ers, do you do Core or Flex Points? I have done Points for a long time, and am starting Core this week. I love it in the summer with all the fresh native fruit/veggies..


Vilma: Hope you enjoyed HSTA!! That's a tough one too! Some days we just need a break from workouts and/or computers!!

Ivy: You sound like you have a good plan for eating and workouts. What Butts and Guts Rotation are you doing? Is it one of Cathe's? I could use a butts and guts rotation if her AUG 08 doesn't look appealing... I truly think clean eating is 98% of weight loss. When I fine tune my eating, THAT'S when i start to lose.

Suzette: I did Cardio Fusion yesterday! GREAT long cardio! It's fun! Enjoy!

Off I go to make a post workout snack and make the boys lunch! Hey, has anyone here had the Chobani Greek Nonfat Yogurt?? I got some yesterday and never realized it has 18 GRAMS of PROTEIN in it! good stuff!!

Chris: WOW!!! Way to go! That's awesome you burned all those calories. Sounds like you had a great workout. I just love the KB in the 4DS. Yes, I'm going to do the Butts and Guts rotation Cathe had posted a while back. It seems like it's really great! I want to start with this one, because I really need to work on my abs and lower body. My arms are so skinny, lol. My main area is lower body. Let me know if you decide to do that rotation so I know I'm not alone in it :)

Where did you buy the Yogurt? I can't believe it has 18G of protein, that's awesome! Is it a plain yogurt?

Thanks, Ivy! I kept telling myself that I could stop whenever I wanted and not do the ENTIRE 103 minutes, but once I have a video in and running , I feel the need to finish it. I'm weird :eek:

Yes, the Chobani Yogurt comes in flavors too! I remember seeing Peach and Strawberry. I think there were others too. I'm doing the "plain" because it's all that's "allowed" on Weight Watcher Core. Here's a list of stores they sell it in. I got it at "Big Y". ...

Kathy -- I'm so nowhere near the level of Imax3, you are awe-inspiring :)
Lori -- I love C&W too but I think I annoy my DH when I hum Buttercup later in the day
Vilma -- HSTA, I'd really like to get that one at one point.
Pinny -- I don't have supersets but I love reading about the theory when trainers were first implementing them. I find it endlessly interesting.

I can't wait to get 4DS, but it'll take time growing my Cathe DVD collection. I just finished another circuit workout. I had to take an unscheduled rest day yesterday because my stomach wouldn't give me any relief from the moment I woke up until the second right before I actually fell asleep. Nothing helped and the idea of any motion made me..well, sick to my stomach. This morning felt a lot better but I went to work out before any uneasiness would set it! :)

Chris: Thanks for the link about the Yogurt. I don't think they sell them anywhere close to me, except Whole Food's but it's 45 mins away. Yes, that's the rotation I'm going to follow. There are some subs I will need to do since I don't have some DVDs. I think I only need to sub 2 or 3 DVDs. I need to sub Imax 2, Pyramid Lower Body, and Hard Core Legs(Which one is this one?). Which ones do you recomend I should sub them for? Also, what can I do for Running on the first week, since I can't run because I have a little one and don't have a joggin stroller, and I don't like to run, LOL! :) Thanks!
 
Chris I am doing Flex points for WW I thought about doing core but right now Flex is working for me so I don't want to mess with what is working. ;) How many points is that yogurt? I am the same way as you once I put a workout in I want to finish it. Even if it is with marching in place. It will make me try harder the next time.:mad:

Seapd I love Cardio Fusion. Just did it on Saturday.:D Don't you think it was hard picking your top 5 Favs?

Pinny still humming that song that you don't like:p Too bad it didn't come with the option of no music like the newer DVD's. LOL.

Hi ladies..

Appointment went well. Dr. said everything looked great! Fast and easy the appointment was. I told her I liked them like that!!

Lori: That is a catchy song..but, I hate when I can't get one out of my head! LOVE C&W..It is in my top 5!! Along with Imax 2.. I have a hard time getting off this forum/computer too..I did have a hard time picking my favs..I probably could have chosen others too...

Vilma: Weekend was good...No mammo yet. Got a couple more years until that is required...

Iris: I got that 15 minutes ove..thank goodness! Good luck with that rotation..I have it printed to do. I kinda followed it this month some..

Ivy: Great photo..Good for you getting all the bad foods outa there. I have been doing that too. None of us in this house need that stuff. So, now I stay away from certain aisles at the grocery store like the chip aisle!! Kids aren't happy with it. But, it is for their own good..They will thank me someday.. I remember that rotation..It was a good one..Subbing-do you have imax or imax 3 for a sub...I ususally do a step DVD for running. I am not much of a runner either. I do try sometimes...

Suzette: Cardio fusion is a toughie..I do that one after a bad eating day...

Chris: that is not a fun part at all about that appointment. Everything was good though..I got my blood drawn to get my cholesterol and everything checked.. How did the yogurt taste? That is alot of protein!! Hi-5s back at ya for that workout...That is alot of sweaty minutes. I need to do 4DS again. I haven't done them all the way through in a while. I think since Cathe had a rotation with them all in it. She usually just has us do the cardio.

Hottie: Thanks..it was tough especially that early..But, I have been eating horribly so that was my motivation. And the fact I was going to the dr to get weighed...It wasn't too bad on the weigh in. Glad you were able to workout. Stomache yuckies are the worst!

Thanks! I'm glad to hear that your doctor appointment went well :). My DD doesn't like me to stop her from eating junk food. We used to eat healthy before, but then I gave up, but now I'm going to stick to it, because I've noticed that eating bad is not giving me results at all, plus eating healthy is great for good health too :) Yes, I have Imax one and Imax 3.

Laparez- I'm so glad you're feeling better with you're ankle..I've been meaning to post back to you to tell you that I went as far as to do floor exercises for the lower body...and of course I did upper body every few days...core work, whatever I could do just to keep me from going crazy!

Kathy- Glad that 15 minutes is over for you! You leave saying "thank god!"....( you know, I say that when Buttercup is finally over too..lol)

Iris: Thanks! Yesterday I did just upper body kickboxing and that was fun. I can't wait till I can completely do anything. I really hope that I can start back on Monday because I can't take it anymore, lol.

Hi Ladies! Sorry to be MIA for SOOOO long. I have developed a Sciatic nerve problem. So no workouts for the last two weeks......AND I'M IN A VERY DARK PLACE. Anyway, I'm hoping to start tomorrow with some light cardio, stretching, etc. This just hit me all of a sudden, I didn't think I hurt myself. Just woke up one morning in horrible pain!

Anyway, you all look like you're doing well. Have a nice day!

Kathy-Imax 3-Don't have that one-is it as good as everyone says?

Lori- C&W is definitely one of my favs-it was my 1st cathe dvd.Buttercup definitely stays in your head even though you may not want it to.

Vilma-Are you doing a rotation this month with the high step?

Ivy-Good for you on changing your eating habits!!!I try and I simply can't do it. I could never cut out my soda addiction. I have cut down on my whites though. We will help you keep your goal!!

Suzette-Heard cardio fusion is GREAT!!Did you have a good workout?

Chris-103 min. WOW I'm just tired looking @ that sentence. I totally feel for you and your upper body-that's how I feel now after the roadtrip

Hottie-My dvd collection is starting out slow, that is how I am building my collection slowly so I can afford everything.It is starting to build up nicely though.
 
Hey Everyone! Back from the road trip and today was rest day since yesterday's travel was so crazy. I was up at 3:30amPST for Cathe's kickbox class, then I spent 7 or 8 hours at the airport waiting for the storm to clear and a flight (any flight -- I got moved), and then not home until after 2am which was 5am eastern. Crazy! So, I felt no need to workout. I only slept about 5-1/2 hours once I did get home, and I am feeling very fuzzy at the moment.

Chris, awesome workout -- I think I'll try to do some 4DS weight work this week. I feel like I need really good weight work since we'll be away again next week and so I most certainly won't get a chance to do weights. I am going to try to keep up with some cardio while we're gone. I guess my arms will get some work too, because we'll canoe. I'm rambling.

I'll look for that yogurt, but it does not look familiar at all, so I have a feeling we may not have it in my area. I am a fan of Trader Joe's greek style non-fat yogurt, but I've never actually checked the protein amount.

Ok, I have buttercup in my head now, too!!! :)
