Here's my workout for today. Ankle felt better today but I took it easy.

I went for a jog yesterday. I might do a long hike today, its sunny and pretty. I would hate to spend it inside.

I took the pups to the orchard this am for a walk. Busy day, trying to sort things out at work and a puppy consult tonight.

Alisha - I'm so glad someone's having nice weather! I haven't been able to do anything outdoors for the storms we've been having! Getting ice & rain today and tomorrow. Friday, it's more snow! Argh!

Lisa - Happy, happy birthday! Hope you got to celebrate some! Have a good consult tonight!

Did P90X Plyometrics tonight! I'm almost done with Phase 1! Woo-Hoo! Next week is a rest week and I'm going to use the time to do lots of cardio and hopefully burn tons of calories in addition to the core work and yoga from P90X.

Jane - Glad the ankle is continuing to improve!

Good Morning!

I had a insanely busy day yesterday. We are in the process of getting ready to move out of our office into a new building at the end of March. So I had a regular staff meeting that lasted 2 hours +, plus meeting with movers to get quotes, trying to plan both a going away and birthday party for 2 staff members, working on billing, running to the new office to pick paint colors and trying to keep up with my regular job as I will be off next week. Whew! I am usually not that busy.

I had to stop at mom's last night so I didn't get a workout in. My ankle continues to improve though.

Tonight I will be doing High Reps.

Lisa ~ I hope you had fun on your birthday. Did you do anything special?

Alisha ~ How was the hike? It was been much warmer here. I actually had to use the a/c in the car on the way home last night.

Tricia ~ I'm glad you're enjoying P90x. I hope the weather improves your way. We had rain last night. I'm finally getting used to the idea that I no longer have to drive through mud to get to my house. :)

Jane- The hike was good, sunny, clear. It looks like spring around here. We don't have a real long winter usually.

I think I will go for a joggle later today. Its so nice out, I hate to spend it inside.

Tricia- I would share my good weather!

Lisa- I think the world would be a better place if more of the consultants were puppies.:p

Hi ladies,
I didn't do anything terribly exciting for my bday. Mostly I was busy at work. I wound up rescheduling my puppy for tonight. Yesterday I did Ellen Barrett's Slim Sculpt. Today the pups and I did intervals at the orchard. Still have lots to do. Have to finish packing. Hope to do the moving on Monday or Tuesday.

Jane - Wow! You have been a busy girl! Hang in there and just focus on one task at a time! It'll all get done! Unfortunately, we're in for more snow tomorrow! :(

Lisa - Sometimes a quiet birthday is good, too! Are you getting excited about your move?

Took my rest day today. Baked some bread, did some reading. It was nice to relax! Weekday nights get busy as you well know! I've got legs & back on the agenda for tomorrow! Tonight was Yoga X so I can easily move that to Sunday. It's an hour and a half, so I feel better doing it on the weekend anyway!

More snow on the way here! 4-8" for tomorrow. I've so had enough snow this year! I'm ready for summer!

Shout out to Cindi! Hope you're having a nice January!

Hello Kitty Band aids

Cures what ails you, or something like that. I plan to go for a joggle, with trimmed and bandaged nails;) this afternoon. Tomorrow might be an early Cathe, probably CW cardio premix. I need it to be short and sweet. I have to be at the Cosumnes River Preserve for a photo shoot in the morning, I have to get out of here by 7:45 am. I'm thinking exercise at 6 am and out of the shower/eating by 7 am.

Tricia- I like bread, what kind? I have some bananas in the freezer. I should make some on Sunday.

Jane- Thats one serious workout.

Lisa- I don't have SS, I have heard it is good.

Yesterday afternoon I did 30 minutes of cardio at the gym. Today it is Box and Pack Max. I have learned not to double up on workouts on Box and Pack Max days.

Lisa - SS is a great workout! Hope you were able to keep your promise to the pups for that walk! Smart not to try to do a traditional workout when you're trying to pack and move! I'm afraid there's another winter storm heading your way, too! I'll keep sending energy that it misses you and blow really hard that it goes by fast!

Alisha - I made some light rye bread for panninis. It's so great with the caraway seeds! Yum! How was the photo shoot?

Jane - Your workouts always amaze me! We did get about another 8" on Friday, but the sun came out by lunch time! We're supposed to be getting more though on Tues/Weds. Ugh. I'm so tired of it! Plus, we're getting into the below zero temps at night for a couple of days. Brrr! I hate those arctic blasts that come through this time of winter!

I've been keeping up with my P90X workouts! I'm loving it! My arms are shaping back up again! Legs are always sore after leg day! I only wish I could see my abs! :eek: I know, I know, I really have to get serious on the diet if I'm going to get there. I just got my TurboFire package on Friday. Haven't dipped into that yet. I'm going to start reviewing it tomorrow and use that for my cardio days during STS - if I can wait that long to use it!

I also got Core and Strength Fusion and Bellydance 101 by Amira workouts that I won! I need to try them out as well! I have so much new stuff! AND I've only used my Jillian Michaels 30-Day Shred once! AND I want to get back to doing some Cathe too! I need more free hours in the day! lol :eek:

Hope everyone's Saturday was a good one! I'm doing Yoga X tomorrow, so I may try out my belly dance workout too!

I am saving my long run for tomorrow. I am off all week! YAY!! I wanted my ankle to heal one more day. My running partner (sis) is sick anyway so I'm doing it tomorrow.

Tricia ~ I'm glad you're enjoying P90x. You got some really great workouts to try. You are going to have fun. Don't worry about the abs, they will come. As for diet, it's always baby steps. Stay the course.

We had a chilly night last night but it was near sixty and sunny today.

Jane - Fabulous workout today! That must have been killer!

Good luck on your long run tomorrow! I hope your ankle does well and your sister gets better soon! We're going below zero tonight! Have to drip the faucets just in case! I'm trying to do better with my eating habits. I'm going to try to start the P90X nutrition plan with Phase II which I'll start next week. I'm on rest week this week. I'm going to do the actual plan for P90X with a few Cathe workouts in there, too!

Hi everybody! I think I'm going for a joggle later today. I'm thinking 2 min. intervals.

Tricia- Its pretty warm around here. It was 71 degrees on Saturday when I drove home from my photo shoot with the birds (only pictures, no bullets:p) Caraway seeds are a great addition to breads. I have been thinking about getting TF. I think I need some variety other than Cathe.

Jane- That is a serious workout!
