Intense series?

I'm new to this forum and got a question to ask: I've been a devoted gym-goer for the last five years. Since my husband just got relocated to FL three months ago and he's travelling all the time (and I work full-time), I can't make to the gym as frequent as I like. I don't want to have my four-year-old staying in school for ten hours during the day and drag her to the gym's kid room for another hour. I've ordered the BB series already. My question is should I go ahead and just order the Intensity Series since I'm so tired of waiting? Are there any duplication between the two. For those of you who have both, could you please let me know? Thanks.

Stephp,
I do not have the Body Blast series yet as I ordered the DVD's, but I just want to tell you that I don't think you can go wrong with the Intensity series. To me the more you have(if you can afford it of course) the more variety you'll have. I now own way more Cathe workouts then I ever thought I would want when I first discovered her. I have not regretted one single purchase. I'm sure others will chime in here and tell you how the two series differ.
Edited to add: Welcome!

Hi Stephp,

Just wanted to chime in and say I LOVE the Intensity Series...I have them all, with the exception of the Terminator...and they're just great! I'm still struggling a bit with IMAX2, lol, but I use the rest of them constantly...and have seen great results. They're tough workouts, but FUN! I've got Body Blast on order too and can't wait to see how great (I know) these will be...actually, I ordered Kick, Punch, and Crunch on VHS because I had to have at least one before the DVDs got here. I've done it twice, and it is just an AWESOME kickbox workout.

I have most of Cathe's workouts and I think the Intensity Series are the best, even better than the BB series. (I have BB on VHS, maybe DVD will change my mind about the Intensities?)

I SO regret not pre-ordering the Intensity Series on DVD and getting all the great pre-mixes, so I made sure to get in on the BodyBlast series.

Go for the Intensity Series on DVD. They will be a nice compliment to the BB Series DVDs. So excited about the new series.

Cheers,

Hi and welcome:) I don't think you can go wrong with the IS at all. It is so much fun. The music is great and really gets you going in IMAX2. I seen really great results using this Series. Well I can't tell you about the BB yet because still waiting for the DVD. It you have the money I say go for it because it is well worth it.

Steph,
I have to chime in here and agree with everyone else. Cathe designs each workout with care so that there is very little duplication. Wherever there can be variation, she does it, not only for cross-training purposes but also to educate us more about every muscle. You will never regret any Cathe purchase! The Intensity series is chock-full of combinations and pre-mixed workouts, the best DVD's ever yet made for the purpose.

And that's all I have to say about that.

Yep! I have to agree!! I have both series on video, and I'm currently rotating them. The Intensity series is AWESOME!! I think the two series compliment each other very well, and you can't go wrong with having all Cathe has to offer!!

I agree also. The Intensity Series is maginificent. Cathe is on the cutting edge. She designs her workouts so they have many familiar aspects we have come to know and love but the different types of strength workouts are so varied that once you start compiling the different series, you have so many options you'll never be bored and you'll be one buff mama! I also love the Slow and Heavy Series and CTX. I can't wait to try the Timesaver. In fact, I am so excited about the new workouts I am verging on giddiness!
