Imax 3 hands down!! Its tough, good rockin' music, and fun- and when I'm done, I feel such a sense of accomplishment!}(
Imax 2 is fun, but not as challenging. And I totally agree about Cathe in pigtails- too cute!
Love IMAX 2 (Interval Max, the original, is good, also).
Hated IMAX 3 and got rid of it ASAP. WAY too much impact, and jumping OFF the step, combined with more complex step routines (I like my intensity straight-forward).
Another IMAX 2 vote here. More fun to me. IMAX 3 also makes me frustrated, espicially when I would first do it. Split it up for a long time doing 1-5 2x's & 6- 10 2x's (different days of course). I thought more complex, by the time I would get to the end I was so fatigued that the combos made me....cranky!! I have goten better at it & do enjoy it now.
It's #2 for me. I have Imax 3, but the last time I did it, my knees ached for days. It could have been a coincidence, but Imax 3 is very high impact, so I suspect it was the culprit!
TWO! Definitely. Imax 2 is really fun and has great music. It has enough plyo moves to make it challenging, but not so many that it'll kill your knees if you have joint problems.
Imax 3 is pretty good, but I've always loved 2 more. One thing I don't like about 3 is that darned Michael Jackson music. Once it gets past that, it really rocks.
I love them both! Imax 2 was my favorite until Imax 3 came out. I love them equally for different reasons. But I could never part with either...so I'm with A-Jock - if you can do it get both!
If you can afford all three then I say get them ALL! I love my IMAXes. I used to favour IMAX-2 over all the others as it is the most fun. However, I've been learning the choreography for IMAX-3 and as I get to know it I've switched my favourite to IMAX-3. I've been using this exclusively for my HIIT training and I find that this is very effective in getting me fitter. I still take IMAX-1 every now and again. I use all my IMAXes for variety.
Another vote for IMAX2! I LOVE that workout. I'm planning on doing it today. It's the one I reach for whenever I'm in a bad mood but really need a good workout. It's a challenging workout that I look forward to, rather than dread.
I've done Imax 2 WAAAAAAAAAAY too many times and now it has a HUGE dread factor for me. I can't get myself to do it at all! I don't actually have Imax 3 but I have Harcore Extreme and love the intervals I've done.
