It is now 7:17pm on Thursday night here in beautiful Indiana. I live just south of Indianapolis, and we're gearing up for the big race here in a few weeks (if you don't know what the big race is, it's the Indy 500). Anyhoo, the weather has been about the way it usually is this time of year for the big race: Hot and humid one day (mid 80's), cool and breezy the next (mid 60's). That's what you get with all these springtime cold fronts truckin' down from Canada. My house had a line of storms parked over it last night for about 4 hours, and we got a major lightning show here. Funny thing, though, is that it only "poured" once for about a minute; otherwise it just rained steadily (but easily) for the entire 4 hours). LOTS of lightning, though!!! Big long boomers, too! That's Indiana lingo for "thunder", by the way.
Today was almost perfect, though. If it had been about 5-8 degrees warmer, it would have been, but that's okay. The cool breeze that blew through my window while I was doing Lowmax today was perfect!!
