I Max 3 step height

I did this this morning and didn't realize till interval 7 that the crew are all using a 6in. step. I was thinking some of the moves were tuff at 8. I lowered it and what a difference. I loved this workout. Definitely the toughest.

Hi Diane Sue,

As I said last night, this one did me in. I never thought that I would say that but this one got me.

Still recouping,

Yes Diane,

I did it today and started with a 6inch step because the workout was new to me. I will not be going any higher for this workout. I got a fabulous workout with just the one riser on each side and I really don't think I could do that jump thing on and off the step with two rises anyway(I'm only 5'2) without seriously injuring myself. By the way, what an absolutely fantastic workout. She just keeps getting better and better.

Cathe really delivered another great IMAX! I too am on the 6" - I could never do those jumps either on 8". I love this workout!

The first time I did IMAX 3, I also did it on an 8" step - since I do the other IMAX's on that height. OH MY GOSH! Just like you said Diane - I definitely had to lower it for interval 7 - nowe, I do it on a 6" step and I still struggle with interval 7. Meaning catching my breath!

I absolutely love this new series - I had a hard time mopping all my floors tonight, since I did Chest & Triceps last night - my triceps are still screaming - but I love it!

I did IMAX3 for the first time also and its intensity is only topped by the fun factor! It was obviously tough but I had soooo much fun doing it that the intervals just flew by. Plus the new choreography in a few of the step routines kept me even more sharply focused. I am also thankful for all the reminders to land softly and not let our knees be the shock absorbers. When doing this it really makes a difference in how my knees feel. Cathe thought of everything!

Yay! Finally a comment about interval #7!!! The first time I did Imax3, I didn't make it through this interval and I got so frustrated!!! Thankfully, I conquered it on my second attempt. It might become my favorite interval of all time! I think a major reason why I struggled the first time was because my abs were so sore from the workout the night before. Now, I really appreciate how much you use your core for some of the Imax moves!

I also bow to you over your workout last night! http://www.mech.gla.ac.uk/~rthomson/graphics/smiley_hail.gif I did the GS Biceps and then moved to the Chest & Triceps and by the time I got to the triceps, I couldn't lift heavy enough to get a burn because I was so wobbly! Great job!!!

Feeling my muscles getting sorer minute by minute,

With IMax and Imax 2, I started out at six inches and then went to 8. I do all my step workouts on 8 inches. I started IMax 3 at 6 inches and quite frankly, have no idea when and if I'll move to 8 inches. For right now, I'm staying at 6 and may stay there forever. I think some of the moves will just be too difficult or dangerous at 8 inches for a barely 5' person (that's me!)
