I graduated Nursing School!!

FANTASTIC!! Nursing school is no walk in the park and you need to pat yourself on the back.

Congrats!. I tooa ma nurse. I work in labor and delivery for the last 5 years. Nursing is a great line of work with a lot of opportunities. Actually, I am in graduate school right now to be a nurse practitioner. Good luck to you and your new career.

Wooooohoooo!! Hats off to you. There's lots of different things you can do with your nursing degree. I'm sure you'll have lots of jobs to choose from. Good luck on your boards - taking the exam is really not so bad - it's all the studying beforehand.x( You'll do great!!;-)

Janice!! Congratulations!! I've been thinking about you, and was so glad to see your post! You know I understand just what your journey has been like! I did it too -- my graduation ceremony was on Saturday, and it was such a happy day!

I'm starting my NCLEX study...it's the next big hurdle!

And I've accepted a job in cardiovascular recovery -- I'll work with heart patients at all levels: open heart, catheterizations, MIs. I'll be doing nights, but I'm orienting on days over the summer. I'll probably post asking for advice from night nurses about how to make the transition, when the time comes.

Anyway, congratulations again on your great accomplishment, and have lots of fun on Thursday!!
Best wishes,
Allison

And who said they couldn't do what???!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS !!!!

Remember, can't should not be in your vocabulary :)

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Best of luck on the NCLEX. I didn't study for NCLEX and passed my first attempt. My theory was if I didn't learn it in the 2 years of the nursing program, I wasn't going to learn it in a few weeks. Bad attitude, but I was young.

Oh, I remember boards. One of my classmate's was pregnant and her water broke while we were in line to enter the exam room.

Have fun!

Wow Janice - I'm coming in belatedly on this one but . . .

*deep breath* . .

CONGRATULATIONS!

I'm sure you'll find a good job soon; if you can afford to wait for the absolute right starter then do that!

Congrats again!
