I am 41 and have been working out with off and ons for 20 years.Back on steady 2 years now.(MIDDLE AGE CRISIS)

I have noticed that alot of people working out are over 30. I think we get more health concious.

Just curious what the majority is and how long we have all been trying to stay healthy.

I just turned 34 in April. I have exercised on and off since high school but got SERIOUS in of May of 2002 and haven't stopped since. :)

I'm 44 and have been working out off and on for about 14 years and steady for the past 9. No mid life crisis here, I've just taken up running to train for a half marathon in October:) I guess that's the upside of being a lazy bum for my first 30 years, my joints didn't get a lot of wear and tear in my youth and so far, are up to any challenge I can throw at them:7

Take Care
Laurie:)

I will be 27 next month. I have been working out for about a year and a half, but got really serious the last 6 months with Cathe. And am seeing things with my body I thought I never would!

I will be 45 in August. Been working out since age 12, weights since age 20. Did take some time off to have a couple of babies....but not much!

I'm 42 and have worked out regularly for 16 years. Before that I did walk and hike but had never touched a weight! :p :D

I'm 28, I've never worked out a single day in my life till after I had my son which was 6 yrs ago. But it's only been since I've discovered Cathe, less than a year ago, that I've been consistant. She makes it so much fun! and I'm learning so much from you guys, reading these forums has given me so much motivation.

I'll be 57 in November, and will personally bust any "I'm too old" myth or excuse anyone wants to offer up. Don't even try it!

I'll be 40 in August and have worked out since I was 19-20. I was active before that in school with volleyball, basketball, softball during the summer.

I have just recently gotten serious with my eating and have had a few comments saying that it looks like I am losing weight. Yeah!!! that is what I am trying to do, guess I have the exercising down pat now hopefully the diet will follow :) AFter so many years, guess it is time I got on the ball :)

I'll be 45 in August. I have been working out on and off since I was a teenager but I got serious about it when I was 37 and my mom was diagnosed with high pressure. I realized that I was following in her footsteps so I took action and lost 40 pounds. I have been working out continuously every since.

I am so impressed.
Honeybunch awesome , 57 and taking care of your self.
I always thought only the teenagers worked out for the boys.
Guess i was wrong.
High 5 to all of you for wanting to take care of your bodies and of course look good in a suit.
I myself think about it more now than when i was 20.
I may get older, but refuse to look it and act it or be in a wheelchair at 70.
I am also impressed that we all do Cathe , the toughest instructor i have ever worked out to.

I'll be 37 this year. Been working out since I turned 30 and noticed that my behind was pretty much resting on the back of my knees. I love fitness.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ‘Wow - what a ride!’ — Peter Sage

Turned 35 last month. I was an aerobics fanatic since college but have taken a long hiatus in exercise since having kids.(5+yrs) I've been religious about my exercise routine since this past January. No more excuses-no prepregnancy, pregnancy or post pregnancy states.

My first Cathe collection was the CTX series purchased when it released but hardly used these past years. Now I'm addicted to Cathe w/o's and slowly building my collection. At 35, I now know to add strenth training to my routine whereas in my 20's I was all about cardio, cardio ,cardio.

I'm 50. I started working about about 23 years ago and have been working out ever since. This year I have reduced my working out time to the lowest I've ever reduced it because of career pressures, but I miss it and will surely go back again in the not-so-distant future.

I am 47 and started playing sports in High School. Softball and Volleyball and started running in my Senior year. Started weights when I was in college. I have been exercising ever since...:)..so about 31 years....

Anne, I'm 35, and have worked out for the last 18 years. However, it's only been the last few years that I've really learned about nutrition.
