IF you count my yoga up to 1 1/2-2 hours a day. some days i will only do one hour but it depends. i like to mix it up.

I do 1-2 hours a day. Four days a week I do cardio in the morning, two of those days I lift & do core at night. On the weekends I spend 2 hours each day in the gym, both cardio & lifting.

It's a total of about 10 hours per week. Sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more, depending on my work schedule.

I work out about 1-2 hours a day plus I walk home from work - an additional 3.5 miles.
I lost weight by working out just 1 hours a day.

I work out between 1 1/2 and 2 hours a day because as a student I sit on my behind most of the day! When I was chasing toddlers all day, I only worked out for an hour and that was enough. I also like to eat, so I would rather workout longer, so I can eat more.:)

During the week, 1 to 1.5 hrs, alternating days of weights and cardio, plus at least one day of abs. Weekends, it can be up to 3 hrs, but usually 2.5. Then I do cardio, weights and abs on both days. In addition, I take a few walks outside with the dog, tend the horses, and now it's time to start yardwork.

Yes, an hour a day is enough for weight loss, and that's how I started out. The key to me is to do it as much as you enjoy it, but when it becomes a task, then back off a bit.

I am just getting back into training after a layoff with a knee injury, but I plan to get about an hour to 1.5 hours a day! You can do it!!

About 45 minutes to an hour a day, but not necessarily every day (some days are 20 minutes, for example).

One hour could be enough for weight loss, if you train smart. Make 1-2 of your workouts (non-consecutive days) interval workouts (like any of Cathe's IMax's, or Cardio Coach), do some strength training like P90X, where the exercises are set up in a circuit fashion, to burn more calories during the workout.

An important factor in weight loss is, of course, what you are eating and drinking.

I try to do one video a day, 6 days a week plus I try to squeeze in as much walking as I can during the day (I walk up 5 flights of stairs at work to get to my desk.) The videos average about an hour so I usually don't work out more than an hour and 15 minutes a day. I also try to do something outside during the weekend with my family. I've still got a ways to go before I'm super-fit but I've lost 50 pounds this way.

I guess that I'm right there with everyone else. about 1 1/2 a day is what I get in. Some days a little more, some days a little less.

1 - 2 hours for me as well. When I first lost a lot of weight in '93 I was working out with Charlene Prickett's 'It Figures' show 3x/week and walking 5k in 50 minutes 2 or 3x/week and the weight melted away quickly. I was hypervigilant with my eating then and I now know for certain that for me to lose weight it's not so much the output (workout) that I need to tinker with but the input.

Now that I'm pregnant I work out 30-45 minutes per day, 5 days per week. Before that, 45-60 minutes per day, 5-6 days per week. I can't ever see myself doing more than an hour per day, I don't like working out that much!

Lori

I work out any where from 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours. I have gone as long as 2 hours but not too often. I do like adding in pilates or yoga.

45 minutes max per day. Sometimes just 20 min of hard cardio.

Combined with super clean eating...it can work.

It is usually one and a half to two hours a day, but, I will do an hour if I am very short on time. I agree with others who stated that you can lose weight on one hour a day, particularly if you watch your eating.

I am losing weight slowly with my workouts, and my diet isn't the best.
