Thanks Christine for you thoughtfulness.
I live in San Diego, but by the beaches. We are not in the direct lines of the fires, but our schools are closed, lots of businesses are closed, Naval bases are down to essiential personnel, my kids YMCA sports cancelled. The air here is awful. There is plenty of ash and embers in the air. WE were told to stay inside and off the freeways. The sky is hazy and grey. Last night , I stepped outside and looked out and the distant sky was orange. I am lucky that our section of town has not been evacuated, but I do feel for the families that have been evacuated. We are Navy , and the base has set up some accomodations, so if we have any problems this is were we would go first. Our main concern would be to find a place where we could be with our 2 dogs. My heart goes out to the families that have had to leave their homes and belongings behind. Everyone in SoCal stay safe, evacuate if you have to, material things can be replaced. Thanks again for your thoughtfulness.
