1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? My family no longer exchanges gifts, but in the past I most often used wrapping paper.
2. Real tree or artificial? Artificial
3. When do you put up your tree? I don't actually "put up" a tree. I have a fully decorated tabletop tree that I "put out"
4. When do you take the tree down? the tree goes back into the closet after the Epiphany -- January 6th
5. Do you like eggnog? BLECH! I guess that means no :7
6. Favorite gift received as a child? My Thumbelina doll, although I've always lamented the fact that I never got an Easy Bake Oven.
7. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes, I inherited my mother's.
8. Hardest person to buy for? We no longer exchange gifts with siblings, and my nephews are so hard to buy for that I give them money so they can get whatever they want.

10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? A set of bathroom towels from my MIL -- LMAO!!

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? I declare a 4-way tie between Scrooge with Alistair Sim, It's a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street, and A Christmas Story

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Oh yes!
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Christmas cookies

17. Favorite Christmas song? O Holy Night and O Come, O Come Emmanuel
18. Travel for Christmas or stay at home? Travel -- and I'm so tired of it.

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? I used to put an angel on the top, but my current tree is decorated with berries and pine cones and it doesn't have a topper.
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? When we were kids our mom let us open one after dinner on Christmas Eve and the rest on Christmas morning.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? Crowds and travel -- and the fact that stores start putting up their Christmas decorations before Halloween!
23. What I love most about Christmas? The lights and the beautiful music (I'm referring to religious carols and hymns, although I do love the secular music, too).
