Hi Everyone!

Hi Jolene!

Good Luck to you both. You are beyond ready for the training. You are two uberfit ladies with amazingly strong hearts and defined muscles. This will be a breeze for you :D. I'm assuming that a good portion of the 8 hours per day is lecture and demo practice with breaking into groups. I could be wrong, its been a while since I attended one.

Pack a small cooler and have good energy snacks on hand...ie...trail mix, apple and peanut butter, a scoop of protein powder to mix into a lowfat milk, fresh berries to mix into non-fat yogurt etc.

Then for your meals have egg whites and one yolk with ezekiel bread and brocolli, for lunch a fish (if possibe) with steamed veggies and brown rice, for dinner a 99% lean turkey burger with green veggies (or a dark green salad) sweet potatoe, all just suggestions of course......Good Luck, keep me posted!

YAY - thank you so much Cathe!!! I need to get myself a mini cooler, that's a good idea. Was wondering how I'd keep stuff cold ;-) I know there will be some lectures and such, I am sure, but I also have heard from the instructors that it is a lot of practicing and learning technique too, so the stamina will be a must! And thank you for the vote of confidence and compliments...you're truly the reason we even have the ability to go out on a ledge and do this, without your workouts and inspiration, we'd never even consider it!!! Will keep you posted for sure :)

*hugs!*

Hi Victoriash! I am your modifier. If a move is complex I show an option before or during the workout. By the way, you might be interested in knowing that a very large portion of the four MMA workouts are low impact. High intensity, low impact, that is :D

Are there any low impact modifiers for shock cardio?

Hey Cathe!

Just dropped in to let you know that I finished the 3-month STS undulation rotation today and I feel pumped! It went by like a breeze and I upped my failure sets by 2-3 reps on every workout! Woohooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

Taking the next week off and then do some regular rotation until Shock Cardio comes (hopefully Greek Postal Services won't delay delivery...)

A big THANK YOU for an amazing 9-months of STS lifting!!!

Chris.

I'm TOTALLY enjoying the undulating rotation too!! it's awesome!!

PS....

I think it is so cool that you are doing this. You will do great! Eat healthy, sweat hard! Go Get'm!

Hi Cathe, I have a question: would it be possible for you to rate the new STS workouts as to how intense they are? There was a list of all your workouts and how hard they are, and I would very much like to now how the new ones compare to the others.
Also, I wanna know about Chicago, too! :)
Thank you, and with great anticipation: Krasy

Happy Holiday Season to you Michelle! Thank you for your support and wow, never thought of the military bases....have to check into that :)

Hi Cathe--just did a little Christmas shopping on Shop Cathe last night. I wish everyone in my family was as easy to shop for as my sister who also is a Cathe fan. We are eagerly anticipating Shock Cardio. If it comes before Christmas, I'm wrapping mine and putting it under the tree as a gift to myself.

Have you thought about taking your Eggland's Best Roadshow to any military bases? Most have great, state-of-the-art exercise facilities with big studios for aerobics. Would love to see you do one at Quantico Marine Corps Base in Virginia.

Hope you have a happy and healthy holiday.

Wow, how inspiring. You are awesome Chris...Way to Shock it! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Jolene,
I'm group kick certified and you're going to love teaching this class. If you're used to Cathe's workouts then this training will be a breeze for you. I do recommend getting a good night's rest before and during the training. If you have any questions you can e-mail me [email protected].

Hi Krassymira!

Hmmm, that's a tough one to answer because it really comes down to how hard you apply yourself during them. For example, you can go through the motions of kickbox and get a little sweaty or you can jab, cross, temple smash like you are out to get someone, wink, and really burn some calories

I'm not sure of the exact date of Chicago yet, but I hope to see you there when I arrive :)

Hi Cathe

No questions here either. Just wanted to say that I can't wait to get the 2010 calendar and Shock Cardio. I just love having new workouts to look forward to and especially at the beginning of a new year!!

I hope to see you in San Diego!

Take care,
Bev

Hi Cathe!

Happy Holidays! I can't wait for Shock Cardio. I just ordered the 12-20 pound vest. I do have a question. Next week wiil be the final week of my 6 1/2 STS rotation. I love the results. Meso 3 is my favorite. But I still want to lose about 12 pounds so all those new muscles will show. What next? I want to be in the very best shape when I turn (gulp) 50 next July.

Thanks,

Denise

By the way My husband complimented me on my back muscles last week. In fact he has brought them up several times since then.

Hi Denise! Shock your system with some cardio you DON'T usually do. The change and the increase will shock your metabolism. Also, as impossible as it seems, try to eat clean through the holiday season.

Way to go on all you have accomplished and NICE BACK!!!! :D
