Hi there! It's been ages - years! - since I've been on this forum. You guys were such a huge help to me when I was more active on here. I am trying to get back on the proverbial horse so to speak and I am looking to add some new Cathe workouts to my collection. I have pretty much everything up to the 4 day split series and I need to add some variety. Music is such a huge factor for me, and as I look through the previews I see it's mostly original music and not recognizable songs, like in the past DVD's. Not a deal breaker of course, but great music is so important to my stamina.

I'm looking to both for cardio and strength, but I'm willing to go with two DVD's to do it, it doesn't have to be one workout. Was thinking about High reps and low impact challenge? Any suggestions? What are your favorites?

Thanks in advance and I hope all is well with everyone!!

:) Cody

Hi Cody. I would suggest STS Total Body and also Drill Max. I got such a high from Drill Max that I have never experienced before. It was so great and stayed with me all day.

I think High Reps is a definitely good choice. You can adjust it to your fitness level. I really enjoy that workout.

As far as the cardio workout...there have been so many since 4DS, I think you won't go wrong with anything you choose there.

I loved STS. I think Cathe out did herself with her latest Low Impact Series. Absolutely love these workouts. Intensity is another really good one. So many of her knew ones since 4DS are so good.

Good Luck!

How about High Reps and Intensity? They are great workouts, and the music is good. Check them out. I definitely like Intensity better than Low Impact Challenge (JMHO).

High reps is good, but I'm not a big fan of Low Impact challenge. I agree with Intensity being a great workout but it is VERY tough, so you need to keep that in mind. The Hiits are great, intense but short and I think that is just a great dvd to have. I personally prefer STS Total Body to High Reps, but I don't think you can go wrong with either.

When you mentioned more recognizable music the workouts that immediately popped into my head were Body Max 2 and Low Impact Circuit (different workout than Low Impact Challenge). These are so versatile b/c of the vast amount of premixes. One of my favorite upper body workouts is the Double Upper Body premix from BM2!

Thank you all so much for the suggestions! Very, very helpful. And I can tell you all "get it" because Drill Max, LIC and BM2 are some of my faves. I think I may go with Intensity, since so many of you mentioned it. Thanks again and it feels good to be back in the groove :)
