Has anyone see TLC's Jon and Kate plus 8?

I just found TLC on our direct tv and I watched it all night last night. For all you parents out there, watch an episode of Jon and Kate plus 8(children that is). It will make what goes on at your home absolutely tame in comparison. I don't know how they do it, God bless them, and I am so thankful I don't have 8 children the same age (or close to it).

I watch this show whenever I can. I don't know how the parents do it. I'd lose my mind.

I absolutely love this show!!! I never miss an episode. Jon and Kate totally are my husband and me. My husband is asian also and he is laid back. I am like Kate in that we are both "anal", say many of the same things, and we give our husbands "love taps" all the time. Oh man, I love that show and how cute are the kids. This is really reality TV because you see what they really go through, the good and the bad. They are lucky they have so many good friends that truly care about them or there life would be so much harder and wouldn't get to do all that they do without thier friends.

It's also one of my favorites. My six-year-old also loves it. I never miss an episode! That's so funny that you said that about them being just like you and your husband, Toni. That's exactly how I feel about them compared to my DH and I. I am a total germ-phobe/control freak like Kate (in a good and endearing way, of course).

I went on the show's blog one day to read what other mommies wrote thinking it would be one big Jon and Kate lovefest, but a lot of the people who watch the show are SO judgmental. They question SO much of how Kate parents. I haven't been back to that blog. I think the two of them do exceptionally well. The show inspires me to quit my whining and reminds me every week of my blessings. Love it!

I haven't seen this one yet, but I think I'll check it out. I was the youngest of 8 kids (mixed family with 4 step-siblings and 3 "real" ones). I was the youngest by 7 years--the other 7 were all in high school at the same time (can you imagine--my poor parents). So after 5th grade or so I was then raised like an only child. I'm always interested in seeing how other large families work (though I have only 2 kids and no desire to have more).

I love the show!!! Kate gets overwhelmed, which comes across
sometimes as she is a witch. I like her but she does nag quite
a bit on her husband. Don't get me wrong he is slow to move
and react but he stays calm. I initially thought they acted
like siblings but there is some deep love there. No, I can't
imagine having 8 children. I have two close in age and that is
demanding at times. I like the fact they are real. Kate openly
displayed her pre tummmy tucked belly, which must have been
hard but the results were unreal. The children are wonderful!!

We watch this show all the time, also. They live in my town about
10 minutes away. Kate graduated from the same private school my
kids go to_Our church and school are together and when Kate had the
babies our church supported them were they could. I know that some
still help out. I think I would need all the help I could get!

I love finding this show when I'm surfing through channels - have no idea when it's on though. The part that amazes me is at the start of each show when they show Kate pregnant with the 6 babies. The way she flipped that belly towards the camera - WOW!

OMG, I love this show! The kids are SO PRECIOUS.

I don't know how the parents survive; I'd be a wreck with that many babies.

I can't believe they get negative criticism. That blows my mind. :-(
