This morning I did Michelle 1 hr. Full Body RIP. This is a kinda a superset workout. 2 rounds with a very short rest in between. She works each muscle group separately. It's Full body, but not much shoulder work (which is ok with me). I still can't do too much shoulder work, with heavy weights anyway. If anyone who isn't injured wants to try this I thought I I would share it. Its fun, intense and beat driven and no joke. She gives good form pointers too. I also like comments she makes.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Celebrating FIL 83rd birthday. He can be a cantankerous old fart, but he's still moving pretty well.

Yesterday was a rest day, I woke up very tired and just did not have it in me to do my workout. Today, I woke up feeling really good, I went to bed early and that helped me to have more energy. Today I started with a 45 minute uphill walk on the treadmill and traveled 2.5 miles. Next, I did a 15 minute run on the Elliptical, traveled 1.5 miles and I used interval mode. Total miles for both were 4 miles and it felt great to get back onto my elliptical, using the max trainer has made it easier for me on the elliptical because my legs are stronger. I ended my workout with Triceps, doing 4 exercises x 12 reps for 3 sets. Total calories burned for the entire workout was 667.

Lying Triceps Ext.- 12's x 12, x 12, x 12
Lying Cross Body Ext.- 10# x 12, x 12, x 12
Close Grip Chest Press- 15's x 12, x 12, x 12
Cable Triceps Pull Downs- 30# x 12, x 12, x 12

It is supposed to be 80 degrees on Easter Sunday next week and I cannot wait!!!

Cam, thanks so much for posting that workout you did yesterday, I cannot wait to preview it! I love new instructors and workouts to get me out of the bored stage I seem to get into with workouts. My dad is turning 90 on May 11th and he still works full time trading Commodities and Stocks and does quite well making a living. Definitely keeps the mind sharp.

I hope you all have a fantastic workout or whatever your day holds for each of you.

I only had about 40 minutes this morning due to an early morning meeting (ridiculous, we have all day to meet). I did RAW Shadow Boxing. I really love this workout but the music is horrible. I hate Maroon 5 and all the type of music genre and that's what is in this workout. I try to tune it out, though, because the workout is really good.

Workout was 36 minutes (not really, I had to stop there due to time), burned 291 calories, did 2969 steps and HR was 128/162.

Hope you all have a great day!!

Today I did CDorner workouts. I started with her Live Basic to Intermediate Step aerobics, 41 minutes, heart rate 121/145, 187 calories, 3,395 steps. I then did Summer Ready Arms and Abs (really upper body with shoulders and upper back) 53 minutes, 129 calories, heart rate 94/123, 712 steps. I finished with Mobility Flow relaxing with neck and shoulder bonus, 27 minutes, heart rate 82/107, 52 calories. Total time 2 hours 1 minute, 368 calories, 4,107 steps. I was so mad today when I got a call from Tela Flora saying that they did not get the flowers delivered due to an illness? on Saturday for the funeral. Why did they not find another florist? Then the tell me they can deliver tomorrow. I told them the funeral was Saturday and I paid extra to get them before one. Give me a refund. My daughter said she had a similar experience in the past with them. So she goes to a local florist.

Arms and Abs was done with tubing and dumbbells 45 seconds each move
chest press 10# dbs
standing tubing chest press
repeat both moves adding a rotation onto the press and slow tubing
Abs- leg drops6 count down 2 up
side to side reach
repeat abs
bentover rows 15# dbs 2/2 count
seated tubing rows with pulses
repeat
repeat abs from first set
reverse fly 5# dbs/ second set reverse with pink turn up
tubing standing latdelt pulls
repeat
lateral raise 5# dbs
tubing lateral raise
front raise 8# dbs
tubing front raise
abs bicycles
1 arm overhead triceps extension 8# db
tubing 1 arm overhead triceps extension standing on one end tubing
biceps curl/rotate down 10# dbs
tubing biceps curls seated on the floor

Roselyn, enjoy your day with your grandbaby. Your daughter will get used to leaving the baby.

Debbie, nice work on getting in Raw Shadow Boxing in before the meeting today. I saw Kelly has a Raw Step with weights workout in the cardio section.

Roxie, nice that you are still getting in Lift 4 and got in some walks.

This morning I did DC Fitt's 45 Minute No Jumping Strength & HiiT Cardio w/Weights. Pretty good workout, and had a lot of leg work in it which I did. With some I only used my BW. For the most part, my surgery knee felt great. However, my other knee was hurting. WTH??

Workout was 6 Superset circuits repeated 3 times at 45 seconds an exercise. It was pretty fun, her music is really low so I played my own.

SS #1
Squat/Press: 12's
Half Jack/Press Knee: 3's
(three times through)

SS #2
Deads/Row: 15's
Kickback/Plank/Alt. Row: 5's
(three times through)

SS #3
Hammer Curl/Lat Raise/Uprights: 15's (I did NOT do the lateral raises)
Lunge Punches/Alternate Swings: 3's
(three times through)

SS #4
Chest Press/Glute Bridge: 15's
Cross Kick Crunch/Glute Raise: 3's
(three times through)

SS #5
Plie Squats: 12#
Frog Walks: 5's/BW/BW
(three times through)

SS #6
Alternate Snatch/Press: 10#
Down-Up Squats/Alt. Lunge Press: 3's
(three times through)

She should not have done lateral raises with 15's, that is dangerous. She was struggling through that, I just skipped them because I wanted to use 15's for the hammers and uprights. She'll be having surgery on her shoulders next!!

Workout was 58 minutes, burned 386 calories and HR was 119/152.

Roxie - Good job on doing Liift4, hopefully you'll get your momentum back.

Diane - Great job with your workout. My husband sent me flowers for my birthday but they delivered them the week before! Plus they had an "I love you" balloon instead of a "Happy Birthday" balloon. He called and complained and they brought the me same exact bouquet, balloon and all, on my birthday. These florists are not as customer service friendly as they used to be. I hope you were able to get a refund. I'm not sure I've done the Raw Step w/Weights, I've seen it but not sure I've done it.

Cam - Nice workout yesterday. All it has been doing here lately is raining. We are supposed to get bad storms again tomorrow. Yikes!!!

Have a great day everyone!!

Today I signed up for Cathe Live, a 6 month membership, and had a great workout. I did the 2018 Glassboro Roadtrip workout, which is one of my favorites, and really enjoyed doing the Live workouts again. This one is 3 exercises per body part, repeated the triset 3 times round. It has a good AB workout at the end but I modified one exercise to suit my low back. Workout was 1 hour and I burned 458 calories. I went lite weights just to easy back into these types of workouts. Cathe does each set x 8 reps and I did x 12 reps.

Chest Press- 15's x 12 ( repeat Giant Set 3 times )
Chest Flys- 12's x 1
Close Grip Chest Press- 15's x 12

Wide Grip Pull Downs- 50# x 12 No pull overs, those hurt my collarbone.
1 Arm Rows- 20# x 12
Rear Flys- 8's x 12

Upright Rows- 12's x 12
Seated Overhead Press- 15's x 12
Lateral Raises- 8's x 12

Lying Triceps Ext.- 12's x 12
Lying Cross Body Ext.- 10# x 12
Kickbacks- 10's x 12

Traditional Curls- 15's x 12
Curls with a Twist- 12's x 12
W Curls- 10's x 12

ABS

Debbie, great job with the workout this morning. Bummer on the early morning meeting yesterday, the meetings should be during your time at work. I started CL again, I am hoping to get some inspiration since I am a tad bored with my lifting workouts. I just want to have the subscription to add some variety into my workouts. I typically never stay in pace with Cathe, I pause a lot and I lift what I want and do the reps that I want so the workouts turn out pretty good. I purchased the 6 month membership to get me through the summer.

Roxie, welcome back and great job with getting in your lift4 workouts.

Roselyn, how did baby sitting go?

Cam, great job on the workout yesterday.

Diane Sue, nice workout yesterday, I know the CDornor workouts are great!

We had high winds yesterday and lost power in the AM so that is why I did not workout. No winds today but this morning my dishwasher broke!!! It is always something right!

Hi,
I ended up having to go to he ER at Fort Bragg last night. I fractured my finger. I dripped over my dumbbells, which originally I was going to bring and forgot thy they are on the carpet. I was going to close my curtains in out antik room. My biggest concern was not too lose an eye or bust my head open when I lost control. I slammed my hand on an antik chair. The pain was unbearable last night, my husband said I am taking you to the ER. They took X-Rays which showed a fracture in my right small finger. My right had from the impact is swollen up. We did not get back to our hotel room on base until after midnight. We are still going to Florida. BBL

Good Afternoon,

I went for a 2 mile walk this morning before the winds start to gust to 40 mph then I did LiiFT 4 WK6 D1 Chest/Tricep Circuits.

Belinda- that looks painful.

Jolie- we have been having high winds for the last week anywhere from 20-50 mph

Debbie- thanks I really need to get it go again swimsuit season is coming up.

Today I did CDorner All Standing To the Beat Low Impact/walking workout no jump, 32 minutes, heart rate 138/163, 187 calories, 3,952 steps. This is a fun workout with good music that I go back to a lot. I felt I needed to avoid too much as my knee was hurting a certain angle after kneeling on stone edging in the yard yesterday. I followed this with 20 minutes of CDorner Hiit Barre with dumbbells. I did one round of the weight part which was targeting shoulders and used 2# dumbbells while Chris used 3's. I burned 95 calories with this one and heart rate was 118/145, 969 steps. I finished with her Full Body Static Stretch from today, 30 minutes, 46 calories, heart rate 78/98. I needed those long stretches today. Total time was 82 minutes, 328 calories, 4,921 steps. I got my new Hoka Bondi 8 shoes on Sunday. I am liking them a lot. I looked for the ones recommended for my foot issues and got the wide width. I can actually stand to walk around in them all day without foot swelling.

Belinda, you did not need that on top of everything else. I hope the pain lets up and you can enjoy your vacation in Florida. I am really sorry that happened to you.

Cam, nice workout last night.

Debbie, Nice work with the DC Fit no jumping strength and hiit cardio. I adjust moves and weights all of the time lately. I think that step and weight Raw workout is a new one. I am going to preview it. I almost did it today till I noticed they were using a step with 3 risers and my knee is already off today. I could lower the step, but will wait on lower work till the knee feels normal. The stretch helped a lot and I am not noticing my knee right now. One of the things I like about Chris is she will put weights down and say she was feeling it in her neck. She warns about those moves and with the workout yesterday she was giving pointers and had the little Russian girl working out with her and had her lower weights and showed her how to get it right on the lateral raises. Yikes on the 15's. Struggling with the weight is not a good sign.
That is ridiculous that they delivered at the wrong time and then delivers the exact wrong thing. My daughter said she guessed they think they are the well-known company that delivers flowers and they can afford to lose customers. They said they sent out a refund. Unfortunately it will take me awhile to see it as my bank did a complete make over and now they are back up and running, but I cannot see any card info. They did have everyone save or print out the different monthly statements etc and warned they will charge to find them for you. So, I guess I wait for my next statement that should be arriving soon, but it will probably be the month after that it shows. I am glad I did not opt in to paperless.

Jolie, great workout. I have considered getting live again for a month or two, but then I do have the new workouts that will be coming. I get bored easily. CDorner is so peppy and upbeat that usually I can get into her workouts though. Although I was going to do the Total Body that she had yesterday till she started out with walking lunges with overhead presses and I changed my mind. Shoulders and back have been sore since the trip and sleeping on a different bed and riding in vehicles.

Roxie, nice job with the walk before the wind and the Lift workout you got in. It is windy here too and is normal for this time of year. I hate trying to spray plants etc when it is so windy.

ouch Belinda I am sorry for you

Today was cardio I did another trampoline

Second day of babysitting my 3 month old grandbaby wow I forgot how much babies need!! But he is so sweet and i love him so much

Today I did Michelle 1 hr. PiYo Full Body Low Impact Cardio, Yoga & Flexibility. The hour flew. My legs and arms got a workout without weights.

Belinda, you can't catch a break! I hope you heal fast and enjoy your vacation.

Diane, I almost did Chris's Cardio workout from today. It looked good. Good workouts.

Jolie, I am always tempted to subscribe to Cathe Live. Someday I will. Please post your workouts and give me your opinions on workouts you do.

Debbie, good workout. Glad you are enjoying workouts w/out pain.

Rainy, windy, awful weather here for the next couple days. I keep hoping we'll get some warm sunny weather, but it doesn't seem to be happening.

Thank you, Roxie! I am not going to lie it hurts.

Diane - I sure didn’t need this in top of everything.

Roselyn - I am lucky I didn’t hurt my head. Thank you!

Cam - in sure can’t catch a break to safe my life. Thank you, I Will make the best of our vacation.

we are in Florida. Our hotel is only a few steps away from the beach. So pretty . I waked on the beach this evening and this morning around Fort Bragg before we took off this morning. I will be back tomorrow. Good night!

Today I did the workout Diane did yesterday - CDorner's 30 Minute Low Impact Cardio - which I've done a few times and love it. It has really fun music, I especially like "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" LOL! Love the moves she does to this song. I'm not even a big fan of country, but that is a cool song. I didn't go crazy with this workout and wore my knee brace. I still got a good workout in, though.

Workout was 33 minutes, burned 287 calories, did 3631 steps and HR was 136/164.

Diane - Thanks for posting that workout link, it would have taken me forever to find it. I wanted to do a lower body stretch afterwards but couldn't find one from Chris. She does a lot of mobility ones and I just wanted a stretch. Oh well, I did my own. I've purchased a real expensive pair of Hoka's before and at first I loved them but after about a month my feet started to hurt really bad. Made me mad because I couldn't return them at that point. I am in need of some comfortable dress flats, like Skechers but have a hard time getting the correct size when I order online. I hate that. I'll probably go to Kohl's or something so I can try them on. I have zero luck with shoes anymore. I hope your knee is feeling better today. I know, 15's on lateral raises is just crazy. I never did that when I was at my peak. So dangerous.

Jolie - I want to do the 6 month subscription for Cathe Live as well, I might during the summer. I want my knee to get a bit better before I spend money on the subscription. I love the Glassboro workout, that is a great heavy weight workout. Great job with your workout! It's 71 here this morning but unfortunately it won't last. :(

Belinda - OUCH on the finger!! OMG. I hope it heals fast, that had to hurt!! How long will you be in FL? I hope you have a good time even though your finger hurts. Don't workout, just relax and have fun!! You'll get a lot of walking in, I'm sure.

Roxie - I agree, I need to get moving as well. Although I haven't gained weight, I feel heavier if that makes sense. Not sure why.

Roselyn - LOL on watching your grandchild. They are a handful!!

Cam - Good job with your workout. I am glad I can finally do some leg moves without pain. I like DC Fitt, I just wish she had some lifting workouts without HiiT. It seems like that's the only kind of workouts she does. I like them, but at times I like to just lift. I'll have to comb through her channel to see if I'm missing the just lifting workouts.

Doreen - Where are you?

Have a great day everyone!!

Good morning - back from my daughter's volleyball tourney in Kansas City over the weekend. Only one workout - the hotel had a peleton bike so I got to try that out.

This morning I did Perfect 30 lower body. And it kicked my butt - I forgot how heavy she goes in this workout! And I changed my mind and I think I'm going to order the downloads of STS 2.0. I really need to bring more lifting back into my routine.

Today is a rest day for me, I have a dishwasher being delivered and since they could not tell me the exact time they would be here, I did not want to start a workout and then have to start again. Boy, are household appliances expensive now days!!!

Debbie, great job with the workout today! I spent $60 for a 6 month subscription to Live and think that is a great deal, considering how many workouts you can do in 6 months. I get it with the knee issue and waiting to get it so you can do any workout you want during the 6 months time period. I do not do Cathe's leg workouts anymore, I just use my TM, Elliptical, Rowing Machine and Max Trainer. I will do squats and my leg machines and that is it, I don't hurt my back as often since making the change.

Belinda, sorry to hear about your finger! Bummer, it happened to you while you are on vacation.

Diane Sue, nice workout yesterday!

Cam, way to go on the workout yesterday. I will post my workouts and tell you which ones I like and which ones I would pass on.

Doreen, I used to love to go to my kid's football games, it was so much fun!

Roselyn, way to go on the baby sitting, that is a lot of work watching a 3 month old baby. Are you doing hair anymore?

Roxie, I hope you get in a good workout today.

Happy Wednesday!

I did Penny 45 min 3-2-1 HIIT Circuit Strength Cardio & Core. 3 circuits, 5 exercises. 3 strength, 2 cardio, 1 core. 50/10 2x. Holy Hannah that was quite a workout. I also took a 1.5 mile walk at lunch. It was 67 out at noon but really windy. At 2:00 it was 47. Jeesh! Glad I got to enjoy some warmth.

Good workouts today!
