First I'll comment on the little boy. It's horrible and I agree with all of you about there just being way to much violence in everything around us. Which is why my kids own no gaming systems, we do not have cable TV or satelite...the only thing they get to watch are videos pre-approved by me!

DS recently had his 7th birthday and when people were asking about gift ideas the would mention characters from popular shows and I am like "my son has no idea who that is" Funny thing he wanted to be Darth Vader for Halloween but he had never seen Star Wars.
