Getting us started. This morning did Quick Fix Knee hab prehab. Hopefully I can do some of the rest of it later. It is really helping the tightness in my calves and that knee.
 
So no workout since last Tuesday. No real reason - just being lazy. I have been having some dizzy spells and headaches still, though. Saturday was bad and ended up with a migraine which I only get like twice a year. My mom is having the same problems. She said she has been having dizzy spells but no headaches. My mom never gets headaches. Even with that tumor in her head, she never had headaches until that one day when she was driving and it did all that to her vision. I can't help but wonder if we have some sort of virus? Or if it is something we are eating. God knows my eating has been horrible. I am trying to fix that and am feeling a bit better.

Today I did Cardio Coach #3 and had an ok workout. Nothing spectacular.

Did you all hear about Paul Walker? I'm so shocked that he passed away. He was a really good person and did a lot for charities. What a shame that he was taken away like that. I loved his Fast and Furious movies. :( RIP.
 
Today I started with KneeHab prehab, then I did 10 minutes on the spin bike. I followed with Great Glutes disc, floor, chair, and stretch. I finished with KneeHab 2. Total time was 75 minutes, 407 calories.

Debbie, how strange that you and your mother have similar symptoms. I hope the dizziness gets better. Holiday time is so hard to stay eating well and all of my out of town stuff lately has kept my eating not so good Since am home I hope that it gets better.

Hey your girls have a question, I turned 49 friday, yikes! but the past 3 weeks I think I a period kind of a quick one, then off and on I have been spotting nothing heavy enough to wear anything, of course I got worried but is this perimenopause?? I have been having some night sweats. I did called my gyno one gal i talked to said she did this and probabley meno starting then i called again and an office manager said i should come in just so they don't miss anything, that is scheduled for dec 17, but nothing yesterday and then a little today and now nothing. I had a pap in may all that was ok but she said he may do an endometrial biopsy if he does not suspect menopause any words of wisdom
 
Roselyn, it seemed to me like peri menopause just sort of flowed into the menopause. I am 61 and have been done with the hot flashes and night sweats for about 5 years. As far as how to tell I cannot say as I had a partial hysterectomy for cancer when in my 30's so no period after the surgery.
 
Today I did the Lower Body workout of Low Impact Total Body. I don't care much for this workout. I did the cup exercises without the cups. My knees bother me when I go down that low. Had an ok workout.

Roselyn - I'm 47 and I'm still right on to the minute with my period. But it does sound like you may be starting peri menopause. Keep track and when you seen you gyno let her/him know. I think you are at the age where that starts. My mom went through hers at around 50-52.

Yes I guess menopause is on its way, yippee!! :( Just a lot of change happens quickly, all of a sudden i wake up in the night hot always used to be cold, and it is a hot that comes from the inside out, oh well got to roll with the changes.

Today I did Knee hab prehab, then T25 RIP"T UP doing the modifier for most of the cardio, then I did Cathe to the Max upper emphasis core/abs and finished with Cathe's Flex train, back, triceps, core, and stretch. Total time was 75 minutes and calories burned 385. I keep complaining at this knee but then today I realized it was Nov 11 I had the surgery so barely 3 weeks. I am really moving pretty well considering. But it has been since Aug 5 that the whole thing started. I am determined to be back at things soon.

Roselyn, I used to always be terribly cold. Interestingly I am not cold most of the time but am left sensitive to temp changes. Generally I used to stack blankets on myself at night. Now I try to get rid of them. But I can go to a ball game in the 50's and be shivering with teeth chattering. Most of the time though I welcome cool air. Not sure how the hormones work but it sure changes things. I took Black Cohosh for quite some time because it helped with night sweats and hot flashes as long as I kept it up.
 
No workout this a.m. No reason really, I feel pretty good. Just didn't feel like it. I guess I needed the rest.

I did Knee Hab prehab and knee hab 1, then I did Rock out Knockout doing the w/u, combos, heavy bag, and stretch. I stopped the heavy bag at the sprawls, did other movements when she did jacks. My kicks were slower and lower. I tapped the heavy bag with my foot instead of kicking it. I then did The Art of Flow Yoga with Zuzana. I have to change up a couple of moves on the final stretch because it has lots of kneeling stuff. Total time was 1 hr 50 minutes and calories burned 370.
 
This morning I did Pyramid Upper Body - the whole workout except abs because I ran out of time. Had a pretty good workout.

Today I surprisingly got in a good calorie burn and got my HR up to 160. I did Kelly Coffey's your Best body premix cardio upper and added the core and yoga to it. Total time was 75 minutes and calories burned 645. I changed up the cardio segments when they were something my knee couldn't handle. I used my gliding discs and did arm movements in the jack and skiing movements. This worked well. There is not a lot of impact in this. During frog jumps I did the speed skater move. The main thing is watching the angle of the foot placement and how the knee tracks. I think the swelling is down again. I can see the veins in my ankles :D
 
I'm not sure what's wrong with me lately, but I just haven't felt like working out. This morning was the same. I reset my alarm clock and fell back to sleep. I feel good today so I'm not sure why I didn't just get up and get on my treadmill. Maybe the time of year it is? I don't know. I need a kick in my pants, that's for sure.

Hopefully next week will be better...

Today I did an X10 premix, and some ab work.

Debbie, I know what you mean, I had to push myself this morning, cold outside it was so warm in bed!! That time of year!!
 
Today I did Strong Knees, not sure how I felt about this. Some was good but a lot was things I have already been doing. 32 minutes 146 calories. I then did Great Glutes skipping the compound stuff, 40 minutes, 277 calories. At the end I did Pre Hab knee hab which took 11 minute. Total time was 72 minutes, calories 423.
