gymstyle ???

Would gymstyle be considered a muscle building workout? Are they useing heavy weight? I am placing an order for new dvd's and don't want anything that will "bulk"

I have learned "endurance" and "circuit" workouts are in line with my goals, but not sure where GS falls.

Personally I do circuits and endurance as well... I use GS all the time I just use the wts in the range I always do and I havent bulked... GS are so great because Cathe uses the band alot and does some different moves. If I could only have 1 wt w/o out GS is it for me... I think BULK comes from heavy wts... someone correct me please if I am in error on that one.
 
I use the GS's all the time and I haven’t bulked. The weights used are moderate to heavy, but the pace is faster than S&H and I'd say a bit slower than PS. The band is incorporated a lot in these workouts, which I think add lots of definition to your muscles.
 
I've never used the upper body Gymstyle workouts(but I'm sure others will chime in). Gymstyle Legs is a great all around workout for your lower body and, as others have stated, you can adjust the weight accordingly or even skip some of the sets if you are worried that it may be too much or may make your muscles too bulky. I think it depends on what area you really want to work but GS Legs really works your lower body and if that is your focus you can't go wrong with this workout.

I did GS Legs today and I simply lower my weights since I tend to bulk in the lower body with heavier weights. GS Legs is an excellent workout, more strength building IMO
 
Gymstyle chest is an excellent workout for chest definition without bulking. The drop set of pushups at the beginning can make your chest muscles have DOMS for up to 4 days (as I have discovered).
I find gymstyle legs is an excellent endurance leg workout.
Gymstyle back is fun.
 
Cathe uses heavy weights, but I don't even try to equal her weights.
She does enough sets that you can make this an endurance workout if you want to, especially the leg dvd.
 
Fach...not many women have the ability to bulk....but for definition heavy weight will get you there and with GS you can do heavy or lighter for endurance...:)
