Good news!

My DD got a call from her boyfriend last night. He's in the Army Natl Guard and has been deployed in Afghanistan since last Thanksgiving. He arrived at Fort Bragg last evening and should be HOME in five days. That's an answered prayer!

As a kid my dad was in the Navy for 25 years and would have to spend 1 sometimes 2 years aboard a Navy ship, . . .when he would come home and we would go and pick him up at the dock it was all hugs and tears everywhere, . .just thinking about it brings tears to my eyes. What happy and wonderful new for you. Looks like it is truly going to be a thankful thanksgiving!!!
