Jen, that's so awesome that you're getting so much love for your wee-one with the baby showers! Noone has mentioned one for me (but this isn't out first)....and if anyone decides to do one after that babies come, I honestly don't think that I'll need anything. I just need to get some basics: more diapers, alcohol wipes, nail clippers, nursing pads. I'm thinking about getting a double-bjorn carrier type thing & maybe a cosleeper bed---but I'm uncertain at this point.

Susan, are you on clear diet today then? When do you think you'll do the enema tonight?

Anyone watching Despirate Housewives tonight?

I might work on photoshop stuff today..... and watch "Underdog" with my boys. I might work on the little boys Fall/Winter clothes today. If I could separate them in piles on our table & have someone put them in their dressors? It snowed here this week....so it's something that needs to be done....

Waves to all & Happy Sunday!

Wendy, your post brought tears to my eyes. I can't imagine the range of emotions you and your family are experiencing. Keeping your entire family in my thoughts and prayers. I hope your delivery today is/was easy.

Susan, tomorrow is your big day :) Glad Haley is feeling better. Good luck with your enema!

Melanie, sounds like bed rest is just what you needed. Wonderful that you're feeling more energetic and that the girls are doing well.

Jen, 3 showers?!?! Holy cow! It's true -- most of the stuff you *think* you need? You don't. The baby and wedding industries prey on excited new moms and brides, don't they? :p I got rid of a lot last time, and as we finish with things now, I'm getting rid of them right away! About ready to retire the padded "insert" for the infant car seat, since Drew seems to be growing at warp speed and his head seems big enough for the car seat now.

Just found out one of my best friends is pregnant with twins! She's due in May. Her DD will be 3 in June, so she will have her hands full.

Drew is becoming a fussy baby!! Ack! DD was not fussy at all, so this is new to me. It's not colic (knock on wood), but he doesn't like to sleep unless he's held and he seems to be gassy these days. Last night I got 3 hours of sleep, in 2, 1.5 hour blocks. Woo hoo for me! I told DH I *will* be taking a nap today!!

Dinner tonight is Chicken Pot Pie from Cook's Illustrated. I've been taking advantage of the weekends when DH is home; that's when I have the opportunity to cook something a bit more labor intensive (chopping veggies is so therapeutic, dontcha think?).

Hi Allison! It's so nice to hear from you!!! Did you get a nap in?

I sat in a chair & took out the boys clothes. We have about 10X more size THREE clothes than we have size FIVE clothes. I suppose Jadon has gotten all these hand-me-downs and then some new stuff along the way. We'll have to get Justin some more clothes. lol

The dressor came, but DH hasn't brought it in the house yet. The knobs need to be put on the drawers, but other than that it should be good to go. I also found the boys snowsuits & boots/hats/mittens. Enough done for today. Now I lie in bed the rest of the day....

Susan, have you begun your cleansing yet?

Hey!
Had a nice time shopping with dh. Haley was in heaven with all the clothes we bought her. She put a fashion show on for us

Melanie-I thought I would do the cleansing tonight. The nurse said do it in the morning...but I can't think of anything I would rather not do at 430 AM than an enama! I have not eaten clear liquids today but have eaten very very light! Just thinking about the enema i have pooped 3 times today! whoohoo!

HI Allison-good to see you. Your dinner sounds yummy!

Heres a pic we took today.....last pic of a family of THREE!

Susan, I love your family photo. I bed Haley is getting really excited to see her sister. You pooped THREE times? That's awesome. I haven't pooped in two days now. Jusr so you're aware, the enema itself may induce labor... so you might want to plan accordingly.

I wonder how Wendy is doing? I hope she's holding her precious one right now. :D

I was just thinking about Wendy. I thought she said they would induce tonight..so Im not sure what time she meant.
Yes, Haley is beside herself with excitement!! I am packed ready to go....just in case!
The fam is having chili for dinner..Im having soup! That chili is smelling sooooo good too!

The nice thing about bedrest is all the prayer time I have. Wendy has been on my heart all day.....ah, she deserves a super easy labor!!!

Susan, what time is your induction tomorrow?

I go in at 5:45! Paul thinks I will deliver before noon....I say after..we'll see! I'll let you guys know via iphone tomorow!
We are about to have a family game night.....then enema!

How are you going to sleep tonight, Susan? lol I'm getting so excited for you!! We've waited many years for this day, haven't we. :D

My induction was scheduled for 9AM with Jory. I had him at 6 PM.

Susan- Great family photo! You still don't look pregnant at all! Just a bit of a belly!

Melanie- I'm glad you were able to get so much done. Yay for the dresser!

Allison- Oh man did we get a TON of stuff at this shower! And MORE clothes. I have sooo much from my friend. We will store most of our stuff until we know if we are going to have a second and if its a boy.

Wendy- Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers and hoping you have an easy labor!

Shower was tons of fun and my wonderful friends did a great job but I am done with showers now. I don't want to attend one for awhile. So now it the fun part of organizing.

Well off to relax and then watch Desperate Housewives! Talk to ya gals later!

ok..enema done!! wasnt bad at all. Didnt have much umm "stuff" like I thought I would. Wonder if I should do another in the morning..it was a double pack...lol

Melanie-Im hoping I get some sleep....but doubt I will get much. Im excited, nervous etc. Will 2 enemas in 8 hours be too much??

Jen-I bet you have sooo much baby stutff! 3 showers is great!! Thanks Jen!!!!!

Susan, you don't even look pregnant! Beautiful family photo -- and you are just beautiful. Good luck tomorrow!!

No nap. Instead I cooked. Chicken pot pie (yum), butternut squash soup, banana oat muffins with choc chips, healthy banana bread, and drop buttermilk biscuits (I cheated on the pot pie topping, using a sheet of puff pastry -- wasn't sure it would work so made biscuits just in case). Planned to sleep at 8:30, after putting DD to bed. When I came down to tell DH, he was complaining of chills, headache, and nausea. So Drew is all mine now. Should've napped!!!!

Susan, you shouldn't need two enemas. Just liquid diet.....should be good, nice, squeeky clean!!

Jen, did you get mostly clothes this time around? If you don't use them for James (or the next one) you can always re-gift? I did that a little bit. Or exchange items for much bigger sizes....you can count on them growing!

Allison! I cannot believe how productive you are! Amazing!!!

My neighbor friend came and got Justin for a playdate today. She also brought over a "swing coat" that can be a maternity coat for the next couple months (didn't have one), a large wool cardigan, and muffins in a beautiful basket! DH assembled the dressor & my eldest boy put all the clothes in them while I rested on the bed and told him where they needed to go. It's amazing how helpful a teenager can be when you take their cell phone & internet away!!! DH made my favorite lunch & muffins today. It's been a great day!!

Despirate Housewives was good too. :D

Sounds like you had a great day, Melanie :) What wonderful neighbors and friends you have.

I love to cook and bake (I have about 300 cookbooks), so was happy to take advantage of DH being home to occupy Drew!

Allison-thanks for the sweet comment about my photo!!! You dinner sounds just wonderful!!! I love butternut squash soup!!!!
I made The Neeleys pot pie a couple weeks ago..and its so easy and very very good!! I bake and cook alot too!

Melanie-ok 1 enema will do lol. Im glad Justin got to go play today and you got your dresser! hooray for your awesome day!!

Haley is finally in bed and Im headed that way. I'll let you guys know whats going on when I can!
nite nite

Morning ladies! Can't wait to hear about the babies being born today! Praying that everyone comes out healthy and happy!!!!

Allison- I love to cook and bake and you give me hope that I will be back to doing it in no time after little James is born! Especially in FL I wait until its cooler. Hopefully we will cool off soon and then I can cook and bake. Your food sounds wonderful!

Melanie- That is great that your DH and DS have been so helpful! I sat in a chair last night and had DH help me organize James's room since I couldn't be on my feet long. It's amazing how they can really step up last minute!

Slept great last night! Took a Tylenol PM just to help get me asleep and it worked pretty good. I'll try and post a few shower pics from this weekend. I am uploading them now.

I slept awful last night, been fighting a migraine since about 3AM ....boys woke up about 430 AM....we got them back to sleep.... then Justin woke up screaming at 7AM with a headache & fever. :( I gave him tylenol about an hour ago and he seems much better. My headache is coming/going and constant.
I go to have labs drawn this AM for my platelets and a girlfriend coming over at 1 PM for a pedicure....other than that just laying low waitiing to hear from our girlies!!!
