Friday evening -after work - met up with my sister and some friends with DH then headed off to another get together - a B-day party -just some drinks and some appetizers. We actually had a great time. Met some really nice people there.
On Saturday we were both kind of lazy - went to the Portersville Steam show and took all 3 dogs - and they were a handful. Gunner is coming into his own and is quite a puller now on the lead. I love watching him discover new things -after being quite timid of our spiral stairs - now he goes up like a champ. It is the best thing in the world now for him now to go up those stairs - he just loves it. He isn't as good coming down the stairs yet - but he'll get it. We also leave the door open to the outside - and I love watching him decide to go in or out and realizing that he has the freedom to decide. He is just a wonderful, wonderful pup. The steam show has a flea market, operation of the steam engines with some hit & miss sounds going on - (loud!!) saw milling (using steam of course), a train, some food (but very limited), tractor pulling . . . very redneck sort of activities - not really my cup of tea to be honest but DH loves it. We then got ready to go to DH's reunion. It was the field party - there was beer, a band and lots of people. He saw ten of his old classmates that he knew - we mingled for awhile, enjoyed the band and then we went and had dinner later. I think I'm tapped out on social things for awhile!!!!
I think I'll do a Tracy Anderson workout tonight!!! Looking forward to it.
Hope you all have a great day.
