Hi everyone. Well Monday again...where did the weekend go???
I had a great Mother's Day starting with coffee in bed and homemade cards done on homemade paper and dried flowers with a beautifully written, in cursive, blessing that the girls had made in school. Then we had a nice brunch in town. After that the girls and I went with my friend (with the problems) and her daughter to see the movie Babies and spend the day window shopping in Boulder. I did get a fabulous peacock blue wrap dress at Ann Taylor Loft (40% off) for my Mother's Day gift as well as some earrings my Daughters had bought me at their Spring Faire on Saturday. I will get to wear the dress tonight as Bo and I are going out to a Fancy Beer Dinner at the Pizza place again. Also the best gift of all was that my DH took all the laundry to the laundry mat and not only washed it all but also folded it all. Which was quite a lot because we have a leak in our kitchen ceiling that is somehow coming from the laundry (which is upstairs) so I haven't been able to do any laundry for 2 weeks and with a family of 4 it adds up to a ton of laundry! Plumber should be here by the end of this week...
I did not, however, get my workout in...so 2 days off last week...but I did read this qoute this morning in the Eat Clean Email...
“I used to be hardcore and work out every day. Now I have changed my perspective. It is about balance and some days I feel it’s okay to miss [my workout] as long I am consistent in the long term … Living a balanced life with fitness while eating clean is a better, more attainable goal for most people.”

Which helped my put things into perspective! Ofcourse a wonderful day with my beautiful family is WAY more important than one workout!
Not sure what I will do today, I took all my classes off, the girls Maypole was cancelled last Friday due to weather and rescheduled for this morning and I can't miss it, they only do it in 3rd grade and it is one of my favorite school festival, I have been to the last 3 years and could simply not miss my girls turn to do it!
