Getting Our Licks In!

Hi everyone. Well Monday again...where did the weekend go???

I had a great Mother's Day starting with coffee in bed and homemade cards done on homemade paper and dried flowers with a beautifully written, in cursive, blessing that the girls had made in school. Then we had a nice brunch in town. After that the girls and I went with my friend (with the problems) and her daughter to see the movie Babies and spend the day window shopping in Boulder. I did get a fabulous peacock blue wrap dress at Ann Taylor Loft (40% off) for my Mother's Day gift as well as some earrings my Daughters had bought me at their Spring Faire on Saturday. I will get to wear the dress tonight as Bo and I are going out to a Fancy Beer Dinner at the Pizza place again. Also the best gift of all was that my DH took all the laundry to the laundry mat and not only washed it all but also folded it all. Which was quite a lot because we have a leak in our kitchen ceiling that is somehow coming from the laundry (which is upstairs) so I haven't been able to do any laundry for 2 weeks and with a family of 4 it adds up to a ton of laundry! Plumber should be here by the end of this week...

I did not, however, get my workout in...so 2 days off last week...but I did read this qoute this morning in the Eat Clean Email...

“I used to be hardcore and work out every day. Now I have changed my perspective. It is about balance and some days I feel it’s okay to miss [my workout] as long I am consistent in the long term … Living a balanced life with fitness while eating clean is a better, more attainable goal for most people.”
- Jennifer M.

Which helped my put things into perspective! Ofcourse a wonderful day with my beautiful family is WAY more important than one workout!

Not sure what I will do today, I took all my classes off, the girls Maypole was cancelled last Friday due to weather and rescheduled for this morning and I can't miss it, they only do it in 3rd grade and it is one of my favorite school festival, I have been to the last 3 years and could simply not miss my girls turn to do it!

A little late posting today and didn't manage to check in yesterday, but I did do the exercise thing. Yesterday was B&G, round 2, floorwork and abs premix. My B&G are feeling those weekend workouts today. And I finished The Classics dvd today with Step Max. I'm not sure if I've ever done that routine before. I sure felt like I hadn't. It wasn't really difficult except that it wasn't familiar. It did have some fun step moves that Cathe doesn't do in any other workout. Not sure what tomorrow will bring. I'm still avoiding weightlifting. It's hard, but I need to let my right arm get rested up.

Laura: remember when we were young, thought boys were icky, and didn't know about cancer, let alone worry that every new ache or pain was a sign of something wrong? Geesch! My girlfriend your male friend--all this just stinks. I'm saying lots of Hail Marys everyday and will keep your friend in my prayers as well. On a brighter front: your mother's day sounds fantastic. I think it means more when the children make something to give as their gift.

Elle: sorry to hear that you separated from your husband, but you sound happy. I've never been that route and can only imagine how you have felt: like ending your life and starting over, maybe? Sister and her previous husband divorced some years ago and she says that making the decision was the hardest part.

Janie: I'm with Shoegal. I love the pictures. Now that you are back, what are your exercise plans?

Hi to sister, Shoegal, and Shadowpup.

Joey and I had a rest day today. Will be doing a full body workout tomorrow plus a cardio for me. Most likely will do one of the STS Cardios.

We decided to get a little dog, so Joey and I have been on the computer for the last couple of days trying to find what we think would be a good match for us. We wanted a female for sure and had to have short hair and it must be a puppy.

From hybrids to purebreds we kept searching. Then I found this sight called Adopt A Pet in Shelton (our town) that was only 10 or 15 min. away from us.

I went there and saw 4 terrier and chihuahua mix dogs there. They weren't baby puppies, but they did look young. I had my eye on two of them, but one really grabbed my heart.

Went home to get Joey to look at them. They were all males, and no one knew how old they were or their stories, except someone rescued them from CA. and They were scheduled to be euthanized today. But they were saved! The person that is in charge had a day off today. So there weren't a lot of questions answered.

Joey and I kept noticing one of them, and how much it looked like Molly. We held it and loved it. The temperament, cuddling, licking, it seemed we had Molly in our arms except this dog had short hair and was male.

We asked each other the same question at the same time and said "This looks and acts like Molly!" We held him some more and knew we had to have this dog.

As we were talking to the kennel cleaners and fixer uppers, the manager just happen to come in. We told her how interested we were in adopting him and if we could please take him home today. She said she was very busy and to come back tomorrow and we could have him by Thursday. As I was holding him, I asked her "By Thursday? I don't want him in here a minute longer and would really like to take him home today". She said tomorrow she will get everything ready for us to take him home and that one more night with his companions will be OK.

We weren't looking for an older dog (he may be 3 years old) not looking for a male, but man, he grabbed our hearts because he was such a kind and gentle doggie. In memory of Molly, and because he looks and acts so much like her, we are going to name him Rolly.

I'm in the middle of making him meals, went to the store and bought liver, chicken hearts, stew meat, hamburger (all things we don't eat) and bones for him to chew on. Took down all of Molly's toys and going to donate them to Rolly. Will put them in the washing machine to clean them up. I do have a bran new stuffed animal just for him to bite on when he gets here tomorrow. And he will be sleeping under the covers with me every night.

I don't know how this happened looking for one thing and finding something entirely different, yet very familiar. Do you think Molly might of had anything at all to do with this? I wonder sometimes. Or maybe it's just the chihuahua and terrier mix disposition.

We are excited as can be, and after our exercises tomorrow we will have another addition to our family. I just can't wait! We expect to have him for 10 or more years. His life will be full of wonder and excitement and very busy and full of love and everything a doggie could possibly want out of life. We all are going to be very happy. But, I did cry for my Molly and felt like I was pushing her aside, but I'm not. She will always be in my mind and memories, always.

Take care every one. Will be taking lots of pictures for you to see.

Good morning Everyone,
I completed my scheduled workout yesterday: Turbo Jam (I think it's called fat blaster) + Lower body from BS. Turbo Jam was really fun. It was my first time so the moves were unfamiliar but I think i will catch on quickly since it's not that complicated. The time went really fast too so i will continue to sub it in for Basic Step this week.

Laura: I'm glad you had a great mother's day and you are right; sometimes you need to take time to enjoy your family & friends. Missing a workout is ok. Sometimes it's even good to take a rest day to renew and relax.

Michelle: Thanks for your kind words. You are right. Making the decision was the most difficult part. Initially, my family made me feel guilty and like i was being selfish. I think in some ways it was harder because everyone really likes my husband (but they don't have to live with him!). It was not a decision i took lightly but at the end of the day i made the decision I could live with, not anyone else since my family doesn't live in my shoes everyday.

Janie: CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! My husband kept our dog since it was more his dog than mine but i do miss him. Sometimes the universe gives you exactly what you need. When we adopted Marino a similar thing happened: we went in with an idea of what we wanted but as soon as my husband saw Marino, he stole his heart and that was it!
I think Rolly is going to be living a dog's dream with you and will be very happy. Post pics when you can.

I hope everyone else is having a good start to the week. Have a great day!

Elle

I did Step, Jump and Pump last night. Slid back the carpet - and tried to work out on the laminate flooring in there. It's too slippery. I was sliding around and my shoes wouldn't stick at all to the floor. It thought it would be better to do hi lo on the bare floor - not so much. :p Dot came in and was sliding around as well. I have to save that I enjoyed it - the step portion simply flew by. I don't think I've done this but once before.

Oh Janie - Congratulations!!!! I'm sure Rolly will be very happy in his new home and will enrich your lives in the process. It is the nature of owning pets - you gave Molly the best life possible and you must continue to do that for each new family member. When Roo passed, Rex and I ran out to adopt a new puppy - and now we have Dot and we couldn't be happier. (Scout is pretty happy about it too). I'm very happy for you and Joey. It will be too much fun to bring him home. Yes - please post pictures.

Elle - Turbo Jam? Sounds as if you enjoyed it, had fun and got it done! I had bought that some time ago for my mother and did it a couple of times with her. I'm not a big kickboxing fan - and because of that - I'm probably not a good judge of the workout. I already predisposed not to like it. But Chalene seems like fun though. I don't see why you can't get another dog since your husband got Marino. If Rex and I split up I'd probably leave my girls in "dog paradise" because it would be just too cruel to take them from it but I would miss them terribly.

Laura - sounds like a terrific Mother's Day. My girls chewed up my cell phone to celebrate the occasion!!! Kelly told me that Howie chewed up her shoes - so not as great as homemade cards, a brunch and earrings - but I suppose they were thinking of me. Your husband went and did all the laundry - WOW - super nice gift. I'm impressed. I totally agree with the quote and your priorities - missing one workout won't hurt anything (you are a very consistent exerciser) - and your girls are way more important!! Nobody could ever dispute that!

Michelle - the B&G floorwork premix - always looks like something I want to do -but I simply hate repeating the legwork twice!!! The last time I did it - I was just dreading it. Used to love a lot of good floorwork - the Firm often had good leg routines on the floor in their workouts but I haven't done much from them of late. I'm not sure if I have ever done Step Moves - I'll have to look around for that and see. Did Ripken get you any licks for Mother's Day?

Hi to Shadowpup & Renee - hope everyone has a great day.

Well, didn't get my workout in yesterday either. I had taken the day off to attend the girls MayPole Dance at school that had been cancelled last friday and rescheduled to Monday. Than ended up dropping my car off to fix a problem that came up after I had some work done on it last week, the windows don't work, the automatic looks don't work and the front seats won't move. So I dropped it off and spent the afternoon with Bo. By the time we had to go they still hadn't gotten to my car so I will have to take it back.

Bo and I had a great time with the Beer Dinner. I posted some pics on Facebook. So two days in a row with no exercise and tons of food!:eek::eek:

I had to get up early and sub a Cardio Burn Class, than had my Pilates Class, than did STS Chest, Shoulders & Triceps and topped it off with Slim in 6 Abs, so hopefully undid some of the damage....

I am absolutely ravenous today! Can't seem to feel full. I don't know if it is the intensive weight training or the fact that I have eaten like a pig lately??

I am so bummed we are in the middle of a "WINTER STORM WATCH" and are expecting up to 24 inches! UGH can you believe it?? I wonder if that Volcano has really shifted our weather patterns around..

Janie: A NEW PUPPY! He sounds so perfect for you and your Joey! How lovely, I bet you can't wait to get him home to start your new life together. Please post Pics

Michelle: wondered where you were! You are being so strong to with hold from the weight lifting! I know it must be hard for you. That leg work is tough in B&G and doing twice is murder!!

Elle: well you have to do what is right for you, that is the absolute truth! No one else can or will do the right thing for you and your right they (your family) didn't have to live with him. Good job on Turbo Jam. My ML has that and I do it when ever I am in Atlanta. It is fun. I like to 20 minute Turbo Blast one...

Hi to everyone else!

Today was Rhythmic Step. It has been a really long time since I've done RS (before sister and I started STS in January) and I really enjoyed it. Ripken was happy too because he got lots of licks in at the end.

Laura: a winter storm watch in mid-May? I can't imagine that happening in Virginia. So far, we've had a fairly decent spring so I'm not complaining about our weather. It's a bit rainy today, but we need rain every once in a while and it has kindly not rained during walkabout times. I hear you on the food. I feel like I've been a pig lately although my bathroom scale is being kind and indicates I haven't gained any weight. But you really do lead a pretty active daily routine. I know you feel like you haven't worked out when you miss your personal workout, but all those exercise classes don't hurt.

Janie: Congratulations on your new pup Rolly. I understand how you feel like you are not being true to Molly, but I think Molly would want you to have another pup to love. It's funny, sometimes after all these years I call Ripken "Plug" which was our yellow lab's name. Did it 3 times tonight. He just looks at me like "mommy, I don't know who this Plug dog is, but it's not me." My DH just laughs at me and shakes his head. Since Rolly and Molly's names are so similar, I bet you do the same thing. Enjoy your new pup.

Shoegal: Ripken did get his licks in on mother's day, and he gave me a few presents courtesy of his daddy. I gave my DH a couple of ideas and he buys everything. One gift would suffice but that's the way he is.

Guess what? It looks like Shadowpup and I might actually meet for lunch tomorrow. Yeah!

~michelle

Greetings and Salutations!

A new puppy! Oh, Janie, that is fantastic! Nothing like a new furball to fill that special place in your heart and home! I went a year before getting another black cat. I still had my 3 adult cats, but something about a black cat that I love the most! AND, surprisingly, I have never called Tiki the other cats name...Noodles. Noodles was long-haired, Tiki is not. Their personalities are quite different too. But a new critter...I'm so very happy for you.

Yesterday I did Rhythmic Step. It was on my rotation and not one of those freaky sister things, Michelle and I do from time to time. Today I get to do STS 31, Chest and Back. The 90% heavy, and only 6-7 rep thing. Whoopee! It's gonna be a sweat-fest! Tomorrow is KickMax and then I will be involved in Relay for Life Friday evening. Its a walk-a-thon from 6 in the evening to 6 in the morning. Well, I have a feeling this chick will make it to maybe mid-night and then pack it in, come home and go to bed. Should be fun...its for the American Cancer Society.

Elle, the hardest but best decision I ever made was to divorce my now ex-husband. That was 8 years ago and I've gone thru a lot of changes, all for the better too! I am happier and much more healthier in mind, body and spirit. Stay the course and do whats right for YOU!

Hoping everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!

~Renee~

To chose my workout last night - I was having trouble - didn't know what to pick and was bordering on the decision to make it quick. Finally after grappling for quite awhile I closed my eyes ran my finger along all the exercise workouts I had and decided that whatever I chose - I would make it work somehow. I picked Muscle Max - did it all. Loved it. :p

Evening was rather uneventful - except that I found that Dot ate up one of my shoes. I left it sitting out - and if she gets bored she looks for something to destroy - so its gone :(. Does however, present me with a wonderful opportunity to buy another pair - not that I needed a reason. DH had to stay late at work - didn't come home till about 9 or so. The weather has been rather cold lately - but it looks like the rest of the week will be more pleasant.

Laura - can't believe the snow watch -unbelievable.

Janie - Can't wait to see pictures of Rolly - are you bringing him home today?

Hi to everyone else.

Good morning Ladies,
Yesterday was a scheduled rest day according to the rotation i'm on so i enjoyed just chillin' after grinding away at work all day. :)

Shoegal: Step, Jump, & Pump is a great workout. I can totally see the laminate floor being a problem though. I automatically envisioned the step sliding all over the place. I remember when we had hardwood put in the living room. Poor Marino was scared to step on it and did everything he could to avoid the area! He just sort of stood on the "fringes" checking things out. When he finally did step on the floor he was sliding all over the place! I'm now living in a condo and my schedule is really crazy so i don't think i'll be getting another pup anytime soon. I do have a bird and he keeps me busy since he's the boss!

Laura: Winter Storm Watch????? It's been pretty cold here since the weekend and there was some flurry-type of rain on Sunday but i hope it won't get worse than that around here. I'm glad your Beer Dinner went well. I think i must be the only person on the planet that is NOT on facebook! You seem very dedicated to keeping fit so i don't think you have anything to worry about taking a couple of days off.

Michelle & Renee: Rythmic Step is one of those workouts that everybody seems to enjoy. I don't have it but i might have to add that to my next purchase. I'm assuming it is a step only workout.
Hope you have a great time with Shadowpup Michelle.

I haven't bought any new Cathe DVD's lately and i'm going to hold off for the time being and use what i already have; but i was wondering if anyone has now switched to buying the downloads instead of the DVD's? My understanding is there are no premixes so i'm not sure i would like that. I'm not sure i would really want to do a Cathe workout on my iPod anyways. I workout at home so aside from saving space and a few $ i don't know if I should continue to buy the DVD versions. I guess another point is you have it immediately and don't have to wait for it to be delivered.

Have a great day everyone and thanks for all your kind words and support.

After a shot Rolly just wasn't feeling very well. He's resting. Joey says he tolerates Rolly. Yeah right!

Rolly, most of the time, looks like he is smiling.LOL Isn't that cute? We found out he is two years old.

Elle, Good job on Turbo Jam. Sounds like you had a great time with it. Yes, I do believe that Rolly for some reason was meant to be with us.;)

Shoegal, I love Step Pump and Jump. Sounds like you had a ball (with Dot) doing that one. Good for you! I have flooring too, but luckily for us, we don't slip on ours. I don't know why.

We adore our new doggie, Rolly. What a joy so far, and I expect from here on out.:)

Laura, That's got to be frustrating waiting for your car to get fixed, and they didn't even do it that day. Bummer for sure!

Sometimes life has a way of interrupting our scheduled workouts. As long as most of the time you do it, don't worry about times that you can't get to it. It's OK. Get back as soon as you can though. I bet that beer dinner was fantastic! Can you post a couple pictures here. I'm not understanding Facebook very well.:( I'm sure you undid some of the damage from all the working out you did. My Lambs!

Winter Storm Watch!?! Jeesh. Keep warm and safe, K?

Michelle, I love Rhythmic Step, I bet you had a ball!

Awe, thank you for the understanding about Molly and Rolly. You know.;) You are right, I have already called Rolly, Molly.:rolleyes:LOL

Did you and Deborah meet? Oh how I wished I could be there with the two of you.

Renee, Good job on Rhythmic Step, as I told your sister, I just love that one. Sounds like your rotation is very well planned out.

Never been involved in a walk-a-thon. Sounds very interesting and rewarding and for such a worthy cause. But, it's for so long and in the dark! Yikes. I'm such a wimp. :( Let us know how it goes.;)

Shoegal, Got Rolly home yesterday. What do you think of the pics so far. I'm afraid you may get tired of them as time goes on.:D

I think picking a workout like that is well, wonderful. Good job on Muscle Max. I'll have to pick one out like that next time when I'm undecided. Can't get better than that. You are so funny.:D

Dot, what a dear doggie. That would be my excuse to buy another pair of shoes. My purchases have to be justified. It's OK, I figured out Joey and get what I want most of the time. LOL;)

Elle, I haven't switched, I'm doing just fine with what I have. Later in the future, I will though.

Makes me wonder sometimes, what Cathe's next venture will be. Hmmmmmmm

Will talk later, have a great day,

Janie

In case you all were wondering about a walk-a-thon in the dark...well, I guess I should have mentioned its at a local high school, and we are using the track so it will be well lighted. There is more then just walking...there will be games and interaction with other "teams". I am on my schools Relay for Life team. There are many teams, I think ours is the smallest. Unfortunately there is a lot of apathy at my school. Not even willing to donate $$$ to the cause. OK, not a problem. I'm happy to be involved and doing something worthwhile.

Gotta run....
~Renee

IMAX 2:p:eek: Haven't done that one in a long time and sure is a good one! I did a lot better on it than I used to!:D I stayed home with the girls, we didn't get as much snow as predicted but I am just not willing to drive the canyon after my accident this spring. And is starting to snow again now....:(:mad:

Michelle: How to fun to meet Shadowpup in person! I hope it works out! I am going to get RS one day, it seems to be a universal favorite. Thanks for the perspective! It really helped me.

Renee: I am looking forward to Meso 3. I think I will like the real heavy lifting with low reps. I am glad your divorce was a good thing for you in the long run. Have fun on the late night walk-a-thon.

Shoegal: well can't really complain about an excuse to buy new shoes!:) Love MM! I am loving STS but the 6 month rotation is very long (longer for me as I had that weird spring break issue that prolonged it 3 weeks more) and I am missing some of Cathe's old workouts. I am missing full body workouts and circuit workouts the most.

Elle: good to rest the body! I am glad you are taking care of yourself through this transition. It is the best thing you could do is focus on taking care of yourself! I agree with you on the DVD's I like the premixes a lot and I like to be able to hold them in my hands for some reason. I also would have to get a new Ipod to hold the downloads, mine is so old. And that is a big expense to add onto..I would however like to have the STS on a Ipod as I have been doing Meso 2 (& probably Meso 3) at the rec center which has heavier equipment.

Janie: so cute! I am so happy for you guys! Rolly does look like he is smiling and 2 is very young still. He will have a long happy life with you guys! I know he will enjoy your hikes! I don't know how to add pictures on to the post. can you tell me the trick?

FYI my triceps are super duper sore today from STS yesterday..it had me lifting ridiculous weights on the cross-body tricep extensions 15 lbs:eek::p I had to assists through most the reps, but it sure did get them!

This morning after Ripken and I had our walkabout, I did 4DS LIS, cardio only. Needed a shorter workout this morning because I needed to leave the house 20 minutes earlier than usual. My feet are feeling really good--probably because I am using new shoes. My elbow is still sore at times and this is day 10 of no lifting. Can I make it to the weekend and then go light? Maybe.

Shadowpup and I did meet for lunch today! I really needed the boost of seeing a new friend today since my dear friend Janet is having a bit of a down day. We talked about all kinds of stuff, wished all our group could have been there. It was only an hour and a half and I've got to say was fun to meet someone face-to-face who I already knew over cyberspace. Thanks again to Janie for bringing us together. BTW, Elle: Shadowpup purchased all the Cathe downloads last fall and it sounds like she is still trying to download all the files. Ugh!

Janie: love the pictures of the new pup. That toy is almost as big as Rolly!

Laura: I'm not envying your weather. Nice here today--mid 70s with a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. IMAX2? Maybe tomorrow; you are inspiring me.

Shoegal: Step Jump and Pump is one of those workouts that I have only done once or twice. I like the step and pump part, not so crazy about the jump.

Sister: the walk-a-thon is on a week night? Or is it Friday night? Hope you have fun.

~michelle

Renee, So glad to here it is lighted up and at a school and scheduled. Whew! Sounds like a great time while you are there. I'm proud of you, really.

Laura, Glad to hear you won't be driving in that snow. Just as well. Rolly went on his first walk with me today. We took an hour. He does very well on the leach. I could tell though he got just a tad bit tired, but he did very good.

We have a program called Adobe Photoshop, and when my pictures are too big I make my pictures 3"X5" and picturetrail doesn't have a problem with that. There might be something in your camera to reduce the size, but when I ask Joey about it, he says he just doesn't understand that. I don't remember doing that to my camera, but I think that our cameras can do that now. Maybe? There is also a place at picturetrail to use the old version to upload your pictures. I use that one all the time. It works for me. Good luck, wish I could be of better help. Try the old version, I bet that it will work for ya. Let me know how it goes.

Sounds like you did a fantastic job on those triceps. Way to go!

Michelle, Good job on your workouts. Are you giving your muscles a break? Recovery?

The toy beside Rolly is a frog and it has some kind of thingy in it that when moved, it almost sounds like one. He likes all his animals, even the pink one. LOL There is a variety of sizes of toys. We went shopping today and bought him a few balls. Everyone just loved him and couldn't resist petting him. We are sooooooo lucky to have him.

I Completed TJ & Upper body from BS.

Michelle: Glad you and Shadowpup got to meet! That must be trippy to finally meet in person. Sorry Janet is having a rough time. I really hope she stays positive.

Renee: All the best for the Walk-A-Thon! Let us know how it goes.

Laura: Those IMax workouts are tough! Well Done!

Janie: Rolly is sooooooo cute. I think he hit the jackpot coming to live in your home and he's going to be very happy there.

Shoegal: Congrats on the new shoes! I love your random way of choosing your workout too.

Good night everyone!

Hello everyone -

Actually stopped off at a store to look around and the deed has been done: I bought another pair of shoes. Unfortunately, these shoes do not actually replace the eaten pair - so I will still need to look around for another pair of Kitten heeled slingbacks with a pointy toe. The ones I bought were rounded toe flats - but super cute and good for summer.

Janie - What great pics of Rolly - oh what a cute little guy - he looks to be just where he belongs - you just had to find each other!!! I think you are right and he was meant for you & Joey to have - oh yes - he is finally home!! I see he is already outfitted with everything he needs! Toys . . Check, Love . . .Check, Companionship . . .check, Daddy to sleep on . . .Check.

Michelle - It is great that you and Shadowpup finally got together - wish we all could meet in person one day - but you never know. Perhaps on another Cathe Road Trip we could make that happen. I'm so sorry Janet is having such a rough time - she is definitely in my prayers.

Elle - you are not the only person on the planet not on FB - I'm not on there either. I'm not one to easily adapt to technical things - like the whole downloading business. The only way I can imagine using downloads is in Laura's example - taking STS to the gym but I never go to the gym - and in any other instance having a workout on my IPOD seems rather silly.:confused: Maybe I'm not getting it.:eek::rolleyes:

Laura - wish I could see the beer dinner photos (a good place to wear impractical footwear) - a couple of restaurants around us have been hosting beer dinners lately -and I wanted to sign up for one - but Rex didn't want to go. He said he pretty much just likes Black and Tan - and wouldn't be into the other beers they would be featuring - so it would be a waste. I don't like beer at all - but I was willing to give it a shot. I don't blame you for not being willing to drive down the canyon in snowy weather - I'm actually becoming an old lady when it comes to inclement weather driving. I actually despise driving in heavy rain as well.

I didn't work out yesterday. A friend of ours wanted to borrow some tables to use in her garage sale - so we brought them out to her - along with some stuff that didn't sell at our own sale. That took up a lot of time - especially since we were talking with her for awhile We even bought a table while we were there . It was our weekly wine & cheese night - so we decided to go out to the Log Cabin (our favorite place) since we haven't been there for awhile - had a couple of glasses of wine then headed on home. Had a great time too! Not sure what I'll do tonight - but I will also need to undo some of the damage I've done.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Can you find Rex enjoying his lunch in this pic?

Ciao!

Elle, Great job on your workouts today.

Shoegal, Yeah! Your pictures are so fantastic! OMG! I can't believe you and your hubby were there. How beautiful it is, and wish one day I could go there as well.

Do take a picture of your shoes. Would love to see them!

LOL! Yes, everything is in check with little Rolly. :D He is such a cool:cool: doggie boy.

Sounds like you had such a lovely day. Enjoy the rest of the day.

Janie
