Good morning girls,

Debbie, I hope it's ok for me to start this thread today? I am stationed with DH in Germany; Germany is between 6-8 hour ahead of the US:D.

Today I will go to the gym for a run!

KPC Check In

Good morning all. It's Friday!!!!!!!!!!!! Yippeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!! Ok today I did KPC. I am not good with the drop/squat kicks. I guess I need to do more stretch/yoga stuff. ABs went ok I will eventually develop enough core strenghthto do the pikes. Right now I am blessed to pop out two of those. I hung in ok for the most part. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

KPC done. Love how it works the core and the cardio rush feels so good. I didn't get to do yesterday's workout until last night, and I'm surprised not to be feeling doms. Especially since I did the L&G floorwork part twice.
It is so motivating to do this rotation with so many other people and the creator. I'm loving it.

Good morning! I like KPC so today was fun for me- I even made it all the way through the workout with my 1# gloves on- woo hoo! That's the first time. :) Now I guess I need to move on to 2#...or not!

Love the abs in KPC, even though my last two sets have no pikes in them. I feel like my form gets a wee bit better every time I do them, so have to keep at it. No DOMS in legs today, but I think I needed to go heavier.

OH YEAH! KPC!!!!! It's done and every time I do this workout, I love it more and more. For the longest time I would only do Cardio Kicks because I just LOVE that workout to death....but once I gave KPC a fair try, it kicks! And those ABS! LOVE IT! I particularly like the reverse crunches tapping your feet to your stability ball. It really allows me to keep the momentum out of my legs swinging and concentrate on my lower abs.....and not to mention those PIKES! YEAH!

I'm sporting some DOMS in the lower half from yesterday. Nothing too severe, but I was surely feeling it all during KPC!

Belinda-how's the weather in Germany? And when will you be visiting the US again? I'm hoping to see you again on another Road Trip, girl! And Alesia too! :)

HI TO EVERYBODY else! Sorry to hit and run.....I'm heading to the grocery store to stock up on clean eats for the weekend. Tonight I'm making Chicken Squash packets! YUMMY!

I did KPC this morning. I'm getting myself weighted gloves for Christmas and can't wait to try them with it. My legs aren't too bad, but my calves and inner thighs were definitely doing some talking to me this morning.

Tomorrow my son has his first basketball game at 11:00 and I really want to go and get all my Saturday grocery shopping/errands done before that, and I need to be out of the house by 7:15 to managed that (most of my shopping is 45 minutes away), so I'm crossing my fingers I can wake up early enough to get my workout in, but I'll be late checking in. If it were any other time of year I'd just shop afterwards, but the stores are crazy right now and I don't need crazy!
 
Good Morning to you all,

Today is 4DS legs and then Pyramids floor work. I am going to add in KPC abs for the heck of it. This will have to be done later because I have a house guest.

Not feeling too sore in the shoulders today as I thought I might.

Woke with a headache so I will have to get in some fast running to get rid of it. Anyone that knows me....I run until it is gone. It works for me!!!

Great job girls so far on the workouts this morning! Whether a cardio run/walk or KPC make it the best!

and REST! :D Week one is complete, now I think I'll just kick up my feet and look around at everyone else doing KPC :p I have serious DOMS from Bi's + Tri's yesterday...I'm feeling for everyone already!

Good Morning,

Only did part of leg work last nite decline deadlifts and plie squats hurt my back so I stopped after leg press. I will try again tomarrow and maybe lower the wt and see if that helps. Tonite is KPC conditioning only and then abs.

Was confused yesterday and thought we were doing GS legs so I actually started off with squats using 100# and doing all the reps and low ends, etc. Then when I looked to see it was really 4DS legs, I went into it doing....

Front Squats w/wedge 45# 2/12

DB Deadlifts 25's and 2 sets (really didn't feel like I was doing much here..I am use to deadlifting much more, I guess)

DB Plie Squats 45# 2/16 (loved this one..interesting and felt it)

Leg Press 12's 2/12

Round 3
Low Plain Lunges 12's 2/10 (I fell in the beginning:p)

Leg Press w/Ankle Weights 15# DB and 5# AW 2/12

Round 4
Step Outs w/Purple Band

Squats 80# (lots of reps)

LEGS AND GLUTES:
Standing Leg Ext on 3 risers 5# AW and 15#DB 1/16 and 1/12

Calf Raises

Standling Leg Ext 5# AW

Standing Outer Thigh Lifts 5# AW

Hamstring Press on HS 5# AW

Glute Raises 5# AW

I just completed KPC. Now that's the way to start a day! I hope everyone has a pleasant day.
 
Cathy-I'll be up extra early tomorrow, Saturday, also, so think of ME when that alarm goes off. We have to be at our school by 8am tomorrow. We're having our next BIG PTA event (I'm the Pres) and we need to be there early to set up. So I'm planning on getting out of bed tomorrow around 5am. (good luck to DS)!

My legs were sore this morning from yesterday's work! Good deal. I did IMAX original along with the IMAX-first-Friday-of-the-month gang. I left off the 10th combo thinking about FF's prescription for less cardio. I couldn't stop myself any sooner. :) Happy Friday! Looking forward to whipping the bi's and tri's tomorrow.

Hi everyone,

I am feeling it in my butt, hamstrings and calves. I love doing KP&C and am glad to have it done. I just enjoy doing this rotation with everyone and knowing that we all are feeling it in different ways. That makes me realize how different we all are even though we are doing the same workouts.

Well, guess I’m going to be the oddball today, lol. I haven’t done KPC in a LONG time (and I knew there would be some “memory” curve for me) so I decided to do Cardio Kicks instead (which I love too Gayle!) I also did the abs from KPC though.

I dragged my butt out of bed this morning and did the KPC premix that was 37 minutes long. (trying to keep with the endo cardio limit) I added the abs on afterwords. I love KPC! Especially when Cathy said "I feel your energy - keep it coming!"

My thighs are a little sore today from yesterdays workout - but nothing too drastic. My legs weren't so tight that I couldn't kick so thats a plus.

Someone mentioned earlier about these check ins being so motivating and I just wanted to say that I couldn't agree more. I am knew to this whole thing but knowing that I need to check in with everyone gets me motivated and out of bed to do the work I need to do. So thanks everyone!

The weather man is calling for 1-3 more inches of snow tomorrow...does shoveling snow count for cardio? :eek: I need to move to a warmer climate...
 
Morning all! I couldn't bring myself to do KPC today, my low back is really talking to me and kickboxing irritates it all the more. My lower body isn't as sore as I thought it would be, but I am feeling what I did yesterday. Great feeling!!!

I did one of the mixes I made with Cardio Coach. Had a good workout even though I'm really hating cardio. Then I did the Ab Work from Kick, Punch & Crunch.

Cardio stats:
50 minutes
39 minutes in zone
322 calories burned
3 miles travelled


Stats including ab work:59 minutes
40 minutes in zone
362 calories burned


I love the ab work from KP&C, I think it is my favorite. Especially the pykes on the ball at the end. I love those.

I won't be around much today, but will check in tomorrow moring to see what you all did today! You'll find that I'm not on much when Fri., Sat., and Sun. hits. But I will read all the threads to see what you all did! So kick some butt!!!!!
 
Checking in with IMAX, intervals 1-5, plus the step from Interval 6. It took all I had to STOP, and keep the cardio down. That was hard! I like to JUMP!!!

And then I added on KPC Abs and the stretch from KPC too... Those pikes ARE hard! My low back really starts to bug me if I stay up on the ball too long.
